“I have been living a Catania for about 3 years. In that time the pool has either not been working properly or entirely closed since I lived here. This is my 3rd summer. When you ask for general maintenance like changing air filters ,they claim they have none. The gates that are supposed to be li ked at all times don't work,because the staff put tape over tbe locks. The exit gate hasn't worked in over a month, which allows anyone to drive through. I asked management about the gate. They claim they are working on it, yet it hasn't worked in over a month. Also we are on are 3rd management team since we moved here. This place looks decent from the outside but is a mess inside.”

I've been here for almost 18 months, and am very happy -- they keep it clean and in good repair, and its beautiful inside. The apartment is bright and sunny and spacious. The office staff is pleasant and professional, and the maintenance crew is top notch in their response time, and in their expertise. I am very happy here.... If you're 55 and up and looking for convenience and comfort, surrounded by shopping center as well as mall. Everything I need is in reach. With that being said, A man was outside of my apartment sitting on the ground talking on the phone (loudly) and smoking two types of cigarettes.. The smell of the smoke made me aware he was out there because I has asthma. Call security which it took him about 30 or more minutes before he showed up.. He told me the hallways and the entrance to my apartment were common areas and there was nothing he could do. So how effective is security in the apartment complex?”

There are times when the trash compactor is down and the trash ends up in a humongous pile outside of the dumpster/compactor. The roach infestation is horrible, and it seems that they feed on the exterminator's chemicals. They elevators are not always functioning and they are very slow to repair. That is a hazard considering the amount of people there that are in wheelchairs. The young man in the front office is arrogant, rude and desperately in need of an etiquette lesson in customer service. Each time your lease is up for renewal your rent is increased. Cars have been broken into multiple times and security is sparse. With my third increase and the Motel 6 being built right outside my door along with the hookers that stroll back and forth....it is time to move on.”

Because that front office is very, very prejudice. They want to charge me extra 40 dollar because I couldn't come in when they wanted me to and they know that I work at night and the only time I can do it is on Saturday and they saying that they cannot do it then. They hung up in my face so that was very unprofessional and they don't care if you die because the gate is always broken. They need new management because the people there only want -------- to live there.”

Manager is always has a smile and her door open to listen even if my mom just wants to talk. Manager goes out of her way for her residents in so many ways. I see her walking the property everyday. The leasing agent is great and very knowledgeable. The Assistant is rude ugly and partial to people who are not her personal friends. The maintenance staff is very knowledgeable, understanding to our needs and the property always looks great.”

She has become increasingly displeased with management due to their ineffectiveness and unprofessionalism. Recently, my mother has become ill due to the mold epidemic. She has been waking up with headaches, congestion, nausea, and a black and green substance appears when she blows her nose. The management staff is rude and disrespectful to the tenants. In addition, there's been a steady decline in the activity planning for and attendance of the seniors of the complex, due to the rudeness and disrespectful manner of the management. It's obvious that this is allowed because management either is very friendly with the owner, is related to the owner, or is sleeping with the owner. The tenants complain to the manager consistently about the way they are being treated by the assistant manager, but nothing is done about the outrageously rude behavior. If you care at all about your elderly loved one, DO NOT move them into this facility!”

Greedy management (pay for every occasion) with (family members working in office, with access to tenants files, i.e. husband, children). Safty an issue with slow gates, no security on premises, but police has rent-free apartment. Numerous robberies/thiefs on property (office air conditioner stolen twice). Many complaints go without action. Told tenants are responsible for their own safety. Many people have grandchildren living with them, drawing people way under 55 . Must clear with office, if you have visitors. Cannot have a visitor for 24 hours with office permission.”
