“This apartment is roach and bug infested even after asking for someone to come take care of the problem no one did! There is no sufficient lighting in the apartments the AC unit does not work well and the management is by far the worst it could ever be! No one responds to what you need and all the workers are extremely rude! They refuse to help you and make your life miserable not to mention the apartment building is not up to code! Only of one the bed rooms has a window and the hot water comes and goes as it pleases. The elevators don't work and the building itself reeks!”

The Atrium Cellini used to be a really upscale and great place in the eighties and nineties, but it is not "upscale" anymore. But that also depends on how you define "upscale." I say this as I have lived in the Bellaire/Bissonnet area all my life and I remember its past glory. The new owners appear to be from India mirroring what has occurred in some low income neighborhoods in Houston. Most cheap motels are owned by -------. The following are the pros and cons: Pros: 1. Most residents appear to be ------- or Muslims. Thus there is NEVER any issue with loud music or alcohol related incidents. Period. These folks never party. They stay to themselves. 2. The residents (because of their culture) are not aggressive or violent, (I'm not saying that they cannot be) . I'm just comparing them to natural born Americans (in general) who are always ready to confront/fight, say, over a parking space or some perceived insult. 3. Recently, the owners were forced to install a completely new fire-control system. 4. The owners have done some good landscaping and have provided good lights all around the parking lot and entrance area. Extra covered parking has also been provided. 5. Extra storage space (garage style) below is relatively cheap. 6. The apartments themselves are relatively cheap to rent. 7. Relatively close to downtown, just a few miles outside the inner loop. Fairly central. Bus service close. One is not out in the suburban boondocks. 8. No human Security as such but parking gate is access controlled as is the front door. However, extremely nosey and suspicious residents always know who is coming and going. Especially, if it is someone not of their race/culture. 9. Appears to be plenty of parking space. 10. In general, the place is kept fairly clean. It is just old and it shows. 11. The units on the inside are quite nice. Lots have tile/marble/granite floors throughout. The windows do leak sometimes as they are the old aluminum ones. Cons: 1. As soon as you enter the compound, you may find strangely dressed folks walking around with their hands behind their backs as if in a trance. Do not be alarmed. This is normal. You may also see females in hijabs or completely covered (face included). Quite normal. No reason to panic. 2. You will hear people speaking in exotic foreign languages. 3. The residents do not know how to drive. This is a genetic flaw and they cannot be blamed for it. The front driveway at the front entrance doors is frequently blocked by cars for hours, presumably, to drop off or pick up people. 4. You may see a few supermarket carts in the parking lot and inside the building. Do not be alarmed. This is a hi-rise and the folks here use these to take their stuff and groceries up through the elevators. 5. On Fridays you will see a great number of strangely dressed men milling around the building. There is a mosque nearby and these folks are either going or coming from Friday prayers. No reason for alarm. 6. You will be greeted by a strong odor of curry and other exotic foreign spices as soon as you enter the building. These odors are particularly strong in the elevators. 7. Maintenance is inconsistent. At times they respond quite quickly, at others times they have to be called several times. 8. No pool. It is anti-Islamic I guess to swim. Or perhaps the ever liability-conscious, penny-pinching Indian owners do not want the headache. I know this was a bit lengthy but I have tried to keep it as balanced (with a bit of humor) as possible. The cons, for example, may not be cons for you at all. How do I know all this? I have several Pakistani friends from college who live there and I have been coming and going to this place for some five years.”

Keep changing the rent every two months. Cockroach lives in this apartment. U we'll see cockroach all over. So save your money and time. Go somewhere else.”
— 6303 Gulfton St · Houston“Atrium Cellini is a nice, quite, safe building to live and is the best and will be my #1 choice. This property concentrated on beatifying the landscaping with palm trees and others its like a park. safe to walk at all times well taken care granite flooring every where and clean. the only problem is that this complex has no playground for kids and the tenants fail to keep up their place clean and through trash any where and every where and this cause some smell and roaches; excellent management and ownership I bought a house and moved out other wise it will be my first choice.”
— 6303 Gulfton St · Houston“this is an old apartment from outside its ok but once u move u will realise and regret.maintenance service is worst always lying and keep saying i will come tomorrow and repair but never showup.rats and roaches are their old problem.worst cable network.poor gym,no swimming pool, clildren cannot play outside.one thing is good its cheap for that u need to bargain.one of their elevator never works.”
— 6303 Gulfton St · Houston“With the price this apt is very good and the mgmt is taking care about cleaning and upgrading. But the most important is the security and the dedicated 24 hr Security personnel monitoring the cameras and secured gated community. People are living here for more than 7/10 years and are very happy with it. Those came here never thinks of going back to any other apartment, but until get own house. Also the location is very convinient for Bus route (just outside the gate is bus stop), walkable distance from HIllcroft shoping centres and Fiesta....So very good apartment living with security.”

— 6303 Gulfton St · Houston“Inexperienced management and cheap owners from 3rd world country who don't care about cleanliness of building (rats & roaches a big problem); nor about safety or comfort of residents. They illegally retaliate against residents if they complain about serious and valid issues. Owners feel that they are above the law.”
