“I just moved the the last few week in December and today I woke up to my packages been stolen,three costly packages for my new apartment, I called the apartment office just to report and all they could say is it happens,in an apartment where I was told there are cameras. I have always chosen my environment wisely and this never happened to me before . So if you love yourself get a better apartment trust me,if someone can open my gate and steal 3 heavy packages the next think will be breaking in. I am just trying to settle down and now I and my children can never feel safe here. Thieves lives around here people and management is horrible at its best”

“I have been here 4yrs & never had issues with staff until today. She was very rude and acted as if my maintenance issue that has been ignored is simple. They really need to re-evaluate the staff because it is ridiculous.”

“Good morning future residents and or people who are looking into these apartments, The staff are rude as hell and seem to not be able to communicate with you the proper way. At first they may seem like they care about the community even you and will send you gift cups for your birthday yadda yadda, they may seem cool and nice at first but no. They will try to play you here. I had an issue with trying to pay my bills/rent online and on their end they didn't put it up until later on and tried to accuse me for being late. I tried letting them know that i paid whatever bill they put up, it wasnt the whole rent. They still considered my payment late even though it was on their end who didnt put the whole rent up. i usually always pay my bills on time and this was the only time and i tried talking to the manager but it was worse. They suck. We have issues with the shower head and parking isnt all that good, people leave their messed up car parked as storage and people are parking on the stripped lines where it's even harder to back out and leave. They dont care they just want your money.”

“All the reviews written about maintenance, mold, roaches, out date kitchen cabinets, strays cats are all true. Of course, the staff writes the good reviews to cover up what really goes on behind the scenes. Well, my complaint is bad drivers. My car has been hit by someone who does not know how to park or back out of a space. This is terrible and definitely disturbing. This complex has parking issues too. Several cars has been parked here for more than 6-9 months. They use this parking lot as a storage and residents has nowhere 2 park. This place sucks”

“I hated dealing with the leasing agents. I always had to get a manager involved. I have been trying to pay the fees since I moved and the leasing agents have a piss poor attitude and are incompetent. Manager never available”

“One of my worst apt experiences ever! these ppl r so money hungry! Buildings are completely infested w roaches they're even inside the fridges! Office will over charge you to death w no regards!! I wouldnt recomment this place to anybody!!!”

“OFFICE MANAGER IS EXTREMELY RUDE! This complex cares nothing about the RESIDENTS ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY...VERY UNPROFESSIONAL THE GIVE MOVE IN DATES AND DONT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THAT DATE....Maintenance patches up everything and takes forever to fix things...PARKING IS RIDICULOUS GATE IS ALWAYS BROKE”

“I cannot say enough about the poor management of this property. During our 1 year stay, ownership of the property changed twice, each time getting worse. The move in process was so poor, we weren't able to see the unit until two days before move in and discovered an oily fishy smell that persisted our entire stay, despite consistent incense burning. Unfortunately we soon discovered the scent was more than likely due to a serious roach infestation that we were unable to resolve even while using the apartment's pest control service and other store bought remedies. Despite letting the management know about these issues, providing pictures and actually having the leasing agents and managers come into the unit to witness the scale of the issue, there was no discount of our rent rate for any of the lease term. Getting past the pest issue, there is also the actual problems in the unit. The wood flooring in the living room/dining area was severely warped to the point of not being able to comfortably place a glass on the floor. The bathrooms have some sort of plastic cover-all over the real tubs, which are undoubtedly in disrepair, and are impossible to keep clean and pristine even with bleach. About six months into our stay, we got new neighbors upstairs that are the worst we've experienced in our years of apartment living due to a young child which the parents let run laps through the unit in the afternoons. After reporting this repeatedly to the leasing office, on an almost biweekly basis, absolutely nothing was done. The parking is not assigned which means if you don't get home from work at 4:30, you'll be parking across the property. It was just poor, poor customer service from management and a quickly deteriorating property with an awful maintenance team unable to resolve the most basic issues our entire lease. I wouldn't send an enemy to this property. Save yourself the trouble.”

“This place is a Joke I got told I couldn't renew lease as a vendetta by the old manager I come to find out a week later the she got fired!!!! No just that always problem my aprtament flooded constantly, problems with roaches and ants inside the unit my kids will be bitten by them constantly we request to be change to a different apartment never happen we are so glad the we are not gonna be there anymore!!! Had to buy my own refrigerator cause theirs didn't work, always trouble with washer and dryer!!! Horrible place!!! Please don't move in here!!!!!!”

“This place has really went down they do lie about taking care of things maintenance workers don't know how to fix things correctly I don't know how many times I had to go in to fix things from what I see here they worry more about bad reviews then taking care of the tenant's problems I can't wait to get away from here soon”

“The management is going to lie to you and let you think you have an apartment ready, but when you come to get the key I can promise you the apartment won't be ready...it happened to three different families, on four different occasions. All three families had signed leases and had switched utilities and were told to come get their keys, but when we went to go get the keys, they said the apartment won't be ready for two days on 1 occasion, and on the other three occasions they made me and another person wait 2 weeks (with nowhere to go but coach surf) on apartments that were supposedly ready..nice people living here, crappy management and owners, they randomly (with no warning) shut water off on the entire complex 3 times over 2years. Just warning you guys, you don't want to move here believe me and take my word for it I've been here two years optomisticly thinking it would change. Nothing changed, it even got worse. Save yourself the stress and don't move here..”

“I enjoyed my stay at ashford pointe but there a few things that they can improve on. These are the most decent apts in the area for the price range. They have security guards on duty at night and a card only access gate. My apartment was pretty decent and even though we had a few roaches we got rid of them with boric acid and kept them under control(we hate roaches with a passion). Maintenance staff is pretty good too, they answer to calls quickly and take care of the problem. Now on to the bad... Cats, too many of them because of ppl that keep feeding them. People not cleaning up after their dogs and leaving poop on the grass.. Gross! The biggest problem with ashford pointe which isn't really their fault is the apartments right across the street from them. There's all kind of criminal activity running rampant and it crosses over to ashford pointe. While I was living there my neighbors apt got broken into and she got robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot. After those 2 incidents I decided to move out. Can't have my kids around that. Bottom line is ashford pointe are decent, affordable apts but their location isn't the best. If you can afford to pay more for rent in a better area like me, go for it.”

“I HATE THIS PLACE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT IS NASTY AND SHADY EVEN THE LYING --- BOGUS OFFICE STAFF !!!!!!DONT LIVE HERE GO SOMEWHERE WHERE YOUR BUSINESS AND MONEY IS VALUABLE TO THE STAFF AND RESPECTED GO SOMEWHERE THATS PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZED AND WHERE THE STAFF CARES...IT REALLY IS TRUE WHAT THEY SAY YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET YOU MAY HAVE TO PAY MORE FOR A NICE APARTMENT IN A NICE AREA BUT YOU WILL GET QUALITY SERVICE”

“Pros: -washer & dryer included -quiet (except when they mow/use leaf blower at 7am on Saturday morning....) -I've never gotten my car or apt broken into -upgraded appliances -affordable rent -someone always answers when you call the office (if you've been ignored before, you will appreciate this) -nice apartments (inside & out) Cons: -maintenance (I have not had great experience with maintenance. I have been waiting MONTHS on door repair & had several issues with a/c when I first moved in. No a/c for days in the Texas heat, especially with a newborn in the home is a definite problem). -staff (I was charged a $50 late fee because the apartment could not find my money order. When they did find it, I did not get an apology or refund. Lesson learned: Get a receipt every time & take pics). -bugs (roach & ant ingestion....they send the exterminator out & he sprays, but it doesn't help. I have a maid clean the apt 2x month so it's not me) -water gets shut off frequently -gate has been broken for weeks -parking (If you don't make it home by 6pm, you will not find a spot. I live in the front of the complex so when I work late, I have to park all the way in the back and walk, which doesn't make me feel too comfortable. Yes, there is security, but security is always sitting on the benches near the playground. I never see them walking around the complex. It's not such a big deal because I just call my husband and have him come meet me.) -gate (it's often broken and there is NO way to let your guests in remotely. There's one gate code for everyone....and everyone knows it). -location (Apartments are located right across from some really horrible apartments. Police are always doing drug busts there. I'm soooo glad that doesn't happen at Ashford Pointe). -tunnel on playground is broken so if a small child tries to crawl across, he/she could easily fall through to the ground **Yes, my list of cons is a little long, but all in all, these are good apartments. As a mother, my top priority is always safety. I feel safe here. My apartment is located at the front of the complex so I can only speak to that portion. It's always clean. Maintenance staff is friendly. If it were not for the bugs & size of the 2/2 (I need something bigger), I would renew my lease.”

“I moved in a couple of weeks ago so far so good. The apartment was clean when I moved in. The only issue I have is the nats and roaches. There are a few nats and roaches I see here in there and at first I was seeing them frequently. I just make sure to keep my house clean all day and I mop my floors twice a week and pour ammonia and bleach down my sink because one night I saw like 4 are 5 roaches in my sink. Other than that security walks around every night the complex is cleaned up every day never a lot of trash around the property the grass is cut everyday maintenance and staff is always available. Parking is also ok. I give the complex on a scale 1-5 with 5 being the best I give it a 3.9 and the property is mostly quiet late nights because I step out in the wee hours to check out my surroundings. Also when I moved in the first night security came and introduced themselves and gave me a card made me feel safe because I'm by myself.”

“These apartments are very misleading. Everything is falling apart, bugs everywhere, paper thin walls, and appliances breaking left and right. The front management is full of liars and people who are only out to steal your money. Not setting up your contract/lease right causing you to owe 1,000 that they need the next day.. Towing peoples cars if they don't like you, etc. The only good thing about this place is the maintance. Don't move here, worst mistake.”

“ROACH INFESTED!!! I've lived here for about one year and have experienced nothing but the worst. I had roaches all over my stove, counter tops, toilets, tubs, and bedroom.. I complained about the issue, they have treated. They bummed my apartment with raid bummers, the pest control guy drives a honda with no name attached to it, his business cards don't have a name or number where he can be reached in case you want to purchase products for yourself. They placed a washers and dryer unit in my apartment that was filled with roaches.. It was a very rough year for me. It was very stressful having to deal with infestation. They would only spray your apartment upon request instead of treating all units once a month. We all know, if you only treating one apartment I'm the connected unit, the infestation will not go away. They get you with the great prices and new appliances, but that doesn't mean a thing.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME IN A PIECE OF HELL LIKE THIS.”

“When I first moved here it was being bought out, but prior to that I was afraid. To walk to my car at night or even walk the dogs. Not even a month later we had security and they play no games aabout their jobs. I felt safer instantly. I used to get bills on the door for late fees on thing I had already paid monthly. The office staff was changed out OMG I love them theiir so sweet, and professional, their the reason I have been here for 4 years now. Stop by .. move in..youll love it.”

“I love living here. It's quiet. Staff is friendly. Maintenance doesn't take forever to tend to my requests. Parking kinda sucks. If you don't park and stay there from early afternoon, you might end up parking a few buildings away.”

“I love staying here Everyone is Respectful in the office they know your name . If you gave a problem with any thing or one they gonna fix it . I been here for two years and I don't want to move. Great Mangers. Just Really wonderful people and vert understanding . A lot of family here great security . It's clean property and quite as well . I love it!!!”

“i will not even advice my enemy to rent this apartment, suddenly they increased their rent over $150. They changed gate lock to all card and you can only access it with one programmed phone nbr, if your spouse or co tenant doesn't have card they wont be able to enter if you re not at the reach of the phone that the gate is programmed on, even with all this the securities harasses and threatens the tenants and visitors, you cant have a nice time any time past 10 o clock they claimed curfew they behaves as if they pay your rent for you after all they pays them out of our house rent especially one security guy that calls himself on call security there he carries shot gun around and put on bullet proof with cartridges as if he is going to war i don't know probably because they gave him free place to live, he would brag from 7 o clock and be no where to be found after 12 o clock at night he talks with no regard and harasses people. They have changed their management more than 4 times over a year, their new manager now one old white woman is less concern about your complaints she doesn't have one bit of respect. they wouldn't take care of the apartment bugs and roaches, dogs poo are every where and cats will be crying looking at you helpless as if you are the one that is starving them they claims they have washing and dryer that can't wash properly. be warn before you put your self in bondage.”

“I'm actually a bit disappointed i ordered a pizza the other say and they said they wouldnt deliver after five in this property for their own safety that made me uncomfortable, parking is far from apartment sight .i have seen ppl just open their winddows and throw trash outside their cars multiple times now, gym is dirty smells bad!! Equipment isn't well taken care of and it's damaged(not safe) I used it once and don't wish to use it again :( kids play area is ok but one of the parts wich the kids play in (its very high above the ground) is broken and a child can easily get hurt! That should be fixed! Staff is nice but I just think property would be allot better if those little issues were addressed properly dont know if I will be staying here much longer.”
