“I love this apartment, your kids are always safe around. They have lovely interiors and the leasing agents are super friendly. The environment is so clean and you see the workers cleaning daily........”

“I use to love the apartment only for one thing security every other thing zero percent 1) no renovations 2)no hot water 3) roaches bedbugs are competing with the people 4) no gate code 5)no good maintenance 6)staffs don't have manners of approach when you call the office 7) the apartment makes more money looking for cars that will be towed 8) very poor accountability”

“Bad place to live. I was told that water was a separate bill than the rent and that it would come in the mail. When it never showed up in the mail I ask the leasing staff. The lady said ok it will be in your mailbox soon. Never should up and a month later she said she never said that and charged me 200 dollars for not paying the water bill. I never paid it. The day I was moving in the apt was not ready. So I had to wait and watch the lady clean the apt. The stove was broke. It had one setting hot as he.. everything burned. They didn't give me a refrigerator for the first 2 weeks. When they finally switched the stove they did when I wasn't there and took my pots and pans. So I could cook for 1.5 because they took forever to give me a stove. Not enough parking. I had to park 4 townhouses down. Gave you one sticker and make you pay for additional stickers. Didn't start towing until 4 months later. My bf got towed because he had no sticker and was a litthe crooked. Peoplease who stayed there took up 2 spots for no reason. Had police bang on my door and surround my house because someone broke into someone's house and stole something and claimed the person ran to my house. Black ants and roaches where everywhere in the house. I never seen anything like it. Asked for pest control 3x the never showed up. There was something living in my ceiling. Called the office it took them a week to check it out. Had rats and told the staff they didn't care or did anything about it. Roach bombed the house. It didn't do anything. Every appliance was horrible. Sink leaked water badly. Maintenance did not know what they were doing and did understand english. They called themselves remodeling the outsides of the apts and new management but it was still a horrible place.”

“These apartments were great until they were bought out by new management who turn the apartments into falls at kirkwood. There's always problems with the water pressure and hot water. This has been going on for at least 4 months particularly in my unit . I pay my rent on time never late and it seems like once you pay your rent by the next day the hot water magically turns off or the water pressure is low so there's no way to turn your shower head on you have to take a bath instead of a shower. The water has not been hot for some time now it only gets Luke warm .”

“Falls of Kirkwood formerly Chestfield apt these apartments are deplorable. I have been living with mold in my dining room area for 9 months. When I tell you the maintenance and property managers arr lazy SOB's. These ppl are slumlords only thing they want is money. Ever since the day they busted the water pipe nine months ago. They never came and fixed it. Letter after letter. Dont be deceive by the landscape that they have just upgraded. These apartment like a bad face lift gone wrong. When it rains water gets into the walls which shows the shotty paint job that they covered over all the mishaps. Everything is a patchy job. Dont waste your time with these apartments.”

“This was the first apartment complex I moved to when my mom moved out. I leased here because my One bedroom townhome was going for 500. That was a great deal compared to others I've seen. RUN AWAY!!! DO NOT LEASE. I moved here in November of 2012. The first week I was there two guys tried to break in during the day. My sister was there she called me at work. I am like wow, thats crazy. So then 3 months later a guy knocked on my door for about 3 minutes at about 4am. My sister woke me up because she was scared. He tried to break in he threw a rock through my window. I stayed with my mom for the next two weeks trying to find somewhere else to live. During that time someone broke in and took all of my electronics. Yes dumb of me for not taking them out, but whatever. SO I am saying three times in about 4months . oh no. It is not safe at all here. Maintenance sucks my toilet was leaking for two months, good thing there was another toilet downstairs. Good thing they let me out of my lease.”

“I went in yesterday to try and get some price quotes and to possibly do a tour, but this is what happened.. First entering the property I couldn't park near the office because I'm guessing maintenance was putting in new carpet, so the entire parking near there entrance was blocked off. I simply reversed to go to the other side where a lady wasn't paying attention to her kid who just happened to be right in the center of the second driveway! GREAT PARENTING LADY! Anyways, finally get parked and heading inside, there's already a resident talking to the office staff so I wait my turn. This lady was complaining about a fire that broke out in her apartment, don't know what for, and yet this guy who was "handling" the situation, did not show any type of care or concern that she could've possibly lost not only her belongings or her life to a fire! He showed absolutely no sympathy towards her, said he would just have maintenance look at it later this week to check it out. To me, him showing no remorse only the face of complete boredom, was a BIG red flag for me to not even bother to take a look!”

“It's pretty beat up there, the outside of the building are shabby, many patios are full of junk and the parking lot is really rough. They have a lot of openings there, yet won't try and accommodate you on small things (like a sliding door screen)”

“All of the other reviews about this property are correct! The management is horrible! They are very rude and not on one accord! I was promised many things and have not received on thing as of yet! I have an ancient stove that keeps going out and Emma told me that they would switch it out and later told me that Christi said if it is working not to switch it! They always want to keep repairing things instead of actually fixing the problem. I had roaches when I first moved in and I called to complain about them and Christi told me that I must have brought them because she inspected the apartment before I moved in. The funny thing is I hadn't even moved any of my things into the apartment yet. I know that I am not the only one with problems because I have had numerous neighbors. I have seen people move in and move right back out! The only reason I haven't left yet is because I did not want a broken lease but as soon as my lease is up I am running for the hills!!! Don't trust anything anybody tells you in the front office, they are all scammers!!!!”

“I just want everyone to know that they only reason anyone should stay in chesterfield is if the government is paying you to. This apartment complex does everything cheap and they dont care about anyone. The office stay is very unproffesional especially the manager Christy. Dont trust anything they tell you because I got told nothing but lies and I hate living there!!!!”

“I can only say that I wish I had read the reviews before moving in as I have had nothing but problems since moving in. I reported my bathtub as having low pressure upon moving in and it wasn't fixed until five months later. I reported my dishwasher being broken at the begining of January and it still has yet to be fixed, even though I have given 2 written notices and another 5 verbal ones and was promised a new one a month ago. The rental staff is a joke who put on a tap dance show rather than addressing the problems. Last week, I got two notices that my utility bill(issued by Chesterfield) was overdue and had to be paid by the 12th. Thing is that the bill that they put in my box on the 2nd said it wasn't due until the 13th. bad communication. Bad management. Lies lies and more lies. And on top of it all, the apartments directly across the street are being condemned one apartment at a time. So it's pretty much going down hill. I'm moving first chance I get and will not be looking back. If you can avoid moving here, please do so as it is more of a headache than anything it's worth.”

“this was not the saftest place to live. front office staff changed about four times while I lived there. Many apartments were broken into and the maintenance staff would only nail up the doors.”

“I have lived on the property for about a year and have seen a huge turn of events since the ownership changed. Earlier the prop had strange people hanging out throughout the night causing trouble. But since the new owners have taken over a lot has been done. They have completely renovated the property (and fixed all the little things in my apt that were not working) and have kicked out all those people causing trouble. I'm really delighted about the changes and am looking forward to living here again. Let's hope it continues!”

“THESE APARTMENTS SUCK. I HAVE BEEN THERE SINCE APRIL AND IT HAS BEEN THE WORST TIME OF MY LIFE...THERES BURGALARIES HAPPENENING ALMOST EVERY DAY, NOT EVEN DURING THE NITE HOURS. PEOPLE GET BURGALARIZED DURING THE DAY. THE POOL IS CLOSED AND STAYS GREEN. THE MAIL ROOM LOOKS LIKE CRAP. THE ENTRY AND EXIT GATES ARE NEVER LOCKED. THE GRASS HASNT BEEN CUT IN OVER A MONTH AND THERES TO MANY VACANT PROPERTIES. THE MAINTENCE IS CRAP. THERES MOLD IN MAJAROITY OF THE APARTMENTS..CHESTERFEILD SUCKS MOVE IN THERE AND REGRET IT FOR THE REST OF YOU TIME THERE!!!!!”

“i have lived in chesterfield for almost 8 months, and i have seen a dead body in a pool, someone was shot just a few steps from my house, and the security people are small, swrawny guys who would run from anything. I feel that anyone looking for an apartment here should not look up or even have a tour of Chesterfield Apartments...”

“We all have to make sacrifices... it is very hard to get in contact with the front office staff. My a/c still doesnt work since i first moved in a month ago. There are a lot of soft spots on the floor, kind of like the wood is rotten and they just laid carpet on top. I do however like how big the apartment is. The bedroom and living room are both really spacious. The price is good too, i always find parking, no leaking or anything like that. Since i do live alone, im kind of afraid of the rift raft goin' on outside. But besides that, i dont mind. No bugs or nothing.”

“Where do I start??? I hear gunshots almost every night, they found a dead body in the pool...that no one could see the bottom of, prostitutes, both my cars were towed because they didnt give me my parking stickers, visitor parking is at least a 10 minute walk, A/c goes out almost every other week, people hanging around the complex at all hours of the night making alot of noise, gangs, just plain ------. Worst year of my life here. Not safe for your kids! DONT LIVE HERE!!!!”

“well it's 2007, and chesterfield is under a new company. and they are diong and excellent job with the property. they finally opened the club house, they are giving a easter contest and easter egg hunt for the kids. they are throwing pizza party for the tenants and much more.”

“I use to live here in 2002-2005 its a bad area period theres about 4 different apartment complexes around it there all ------ the rent isnt worth it shootings, police chase, helicopters fying around all times of the day i recommend these apartments to know one.”

“Unsafe property with incompitant office staff. Management office is hard to contact - no number is listed and they refuse to give it to you in the office. They will file eviction even after you give a 30-day notice and move. Horrible!!”

“Chesterfield Apartments <br>Exterior --there are prostitutes, drug dealers, drug users – frequent shootings, people hanging out all hours of the day and night,home invasions. The entire rim and tire were stolen off my car in broad daylight in Chesterfield’s parking lot. (this is a gated community)<br>Interior-- there are roaches beyond belief, mice, spiders, and major plumbing problems. Every day I have to use a plunger on my toilet, tub, or face bowl! They now have the nerve to raise the rent! It’s definitely not worth it!<br>”

“Frontier Realty LLC, the management company for this properties needs to do a better job at hiring staff that will work to keep good tenants there and keeping this property safe for future tenants.”
