LANDINGS AT NORTHPOINT NORTHPOINT · avg 2.3 ★★★★★ · Houston
“This was a 2nd chance property..The residents were sooo Uncaring about noise & litter..The walls are paper thin..there are at least 50 strat cats walking the property and crying all night long. The bathrooms are the smallest I've ever experienced.I paid my rent on time every month so that I could build a great rental history. Was so glad to leave there.Police were called out every other night.Spiders and Ants everywhere...Roaches were part of the overall landscape TAKE YOUR chances if you want!!!”

This place get trashed every night and weekend. They party all the time. Children are always outside during curfew. Reporting to the office doesn't resolve anything. For those who have no choice but to stay here, good luck.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“I do no like these apts.. its loud and the manager don't care about anything..I shouldn't have to pay so much money for a spot like this.. and during this recent storm.. the apt lights have been off for 3 days and they are still off .. its freezing and we haven't heard anything about the lights being turned back on .. this is ridiculously crazy..”

Veronica was on point with communication and ensuring the signing lease process was smoothly ran. A few days before I moved in, I contact the office to speak with her and I was told she moved to another complex. Next in line was Gladys and boy this was such an annoying experience from that point moving forward. First off I was having packages delivered to the office prior to my move in, which I asked if that was ok and they were fine with that. Two of my packages were misplaced for a week because they failed to thoroughly search their mailroom (conference room they use as space). I then called Gladys the a day before I moved in to confirm everything would be ready prior to move in and she told me that she didn't even walk the unit from the last resident. She then told me that she didn't know if I would be able to move in because she didn't call the housekeepers to clean the unit and made it seem like it was an inconvenience for her. I should have known at that point it would be an issue. Through out my visit to the office there wasn't much productivity going on. Anyways, an unfortunate situation occurred with a crazy person I barely knew. They visited my home once and for whatever reason was stalking me and creating an issue. Well this individual went as far as destroying one of my neighbors vehicles because he thought it was mines. I was completely unaware until he did destroy my vehicle with spray paint. A police report was made and so did my neighbor do the same thing. The police suggested that we talk to our leasing office to have them move us to another unit or move into a sister property. Well before I can go to the office, the property management came to my apartment to talk and they were frustrated. I was at the point of confusion and frustration as well plus terrified because I am having to look over my shoulder behind a phsyco. The property management started off with telling me that my neighbor went to tell them about the situation occurring and stating that I was never a problem tenant and etc. So, after I told them what I knew and told them I was ok with switching units or properties, they went on to telling me that they need to speak with their supervisors. That was understandable. Well about 2 hours later Gladys comes alone and basically tells me that she doesn't have good news and that I would need to move out the next day from the property. I was confused as how I deserved to be put out of my home with no resolution. Gladys told me that my neighbor was frustrated and because it was a BMW that it made the situation worse. LOL as if we didn't have the same car plus her model was an old car. I did get offended when she said that. I then was told that I would not get my deposit back and she couldn't tell me if they were planning to put this as a broken lease on my credit. It just felt like she was looking out for the other tenant. She never moved my neighbor if she was so concerned about her safety. I guess cause I am not -------- then it was no matter of my safety…more just like get the hell out. Her attitude about the whole situation had me in an uproar but I decided to be more sensible. Especially her not being the best fit for the role of a property manager based off of my observations. So, I contacted HAA about the issue because of how she handled the situation and I be damn if you were going to keep $600! HAA had the manager over Gladys contact me and was totally apologetic about the false Gladys provided. Dean (Supervisor) stated I was getting my deposit back and nothing was going against my credit. He just had wanted me to move off of the property for my safety being. Keep in mind, my safety was never a concern of Gladys and I have been a very responsible resident. They then gave me two weeks to move out which was better. On my day of move out, I went to the office as soon as they opened to give my key. I guess Gladys was in a mood because I contacted HAA and I was pissed to, so it didn't matter…she requested to walk the unit with me. She walked the unit and I cleaned the hell out of that apartment, but it wasn't much to do because my apartment stayed in absolute great shape and showroom ready. I am very clean. She decided to charge me $100 from deposit for maid service for small clean up on oven and small cosmetic issue inside cabinet. LOL and pointed out dust on the fan. THAT WAS IT! Then she comments, you kept the unit in excellent condition after saying she was charging me. I went ahead and let her have that $100 with no argument because I just wanted to move out of that trash hole. If you are any other race than --------, just stay away. The property isn't really worth it and neither is the leasing staff. As for the property, I suggest you start creating diversity with in your office and start respecting all residents the same!”
“Since I stepped in the office I was meet with smiling faces, and always very attentive. I moved in 4months ago, and so far so good, I even received a courtesy call 1 month after my move in to see how everything was going.”

— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“I love these apartments. They've been newly renovated and under new management. Maintenance is very quick. I've been living here with my grandma and son and it's safe and quiet. Front desk is a lot of help too. Love it here.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“Love what the new managent company is doing. Finally a company that does cares. They have done miracles with this community.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“You want to move here if you are ----- or -------- and like living in a run down cheap place, because that is what these apartments are, maintenance sucks. It takes forever to get things fixed, you get no help from the front office you have to pay for parking unless you want to park on the far side of the complex. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“My family and I have been living here for 6 months already. within these months I've had to go to the front office more then three times. these apartments are horrible the ladies in the front office are rude and if you start to complain they'll ignore you. I've had to get rid of all my furniture because they is BEDBUGS underneath the carpet. if you ask for the carpet to be changed they won't do it and say they'll have to start a new applications and will bring up your rent. their gates don't work and your car will get towed. people get robbed here and gunshot can be heard sometimes. there are so many cats on the property it's not even ...there are no words whatsoever. their laundry facilities are nasty looking they only have 1 or 2 washers working and 3 dryers. it might be cheap but it comes with a price of bad maintenance.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“I have never seen an apt complex change so many things w/o any notifications, verbal or written. I was considering moving to these apartments but after visiting a current resident my car has been towed twice after the leasing office closed and it was a nightmare getting my car back called the police and they never showed up after an hr still nothing. They also have a bad roach and insect problem yes they are cheap but u also have to remember you get what u pay for no safety, insect problems and a front office who can change anything w/o giving any type of notice. There has to be someone to call and report these issues to bbb, higher management or the news station to let everyone know what's going on so things can change.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“Quiet apartments, just hate the parking is small and dumb --- ppl ding my car. Laid back n relaxed tho cheap rent, more party money :)”

— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“I move to apt 209 Februay 2010 and the apartment behind toilet was full of mold and they took more than two months to fix the wall. Outside the apartment there was a tree that lifted the foundation and every time it rained all the wall was geting wet and full of mold all the water was going under the apartment. My sliding door would not open concrete was crack outside patio because of the tree that why the door would not open which that was a fire hazard the door not opening. Ceiling was full of crack with nest of roaches. They already knew about the water problem with the tree because the sheetrock was already replace before I moved there and when I move out the sheetrock was full of mold they move me to apartment 513 and I move all my things and then they made me sign a new lease and the they made me start over the whole year again when it was there fault that they rented that apartment that was livable maintance said that the apartment had not been rented out for two years that why I broke the lease I called the company to tell them I'am going to file a law suit against them but got no where talking to them so I guess I will go to the court house and fix this I have pictures of everything that was wrong in the apartment they can explain to the judge why they rented that apartment to in those condition why they move to another apartment and make me start over they whole year again”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“The office staff is really nice. Maintenance is top notch and the neighborhood is nicely upkept. This neighborhood is pretty safe. At least I have never heard nor seen, since living here, any problems in the property.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“1-Greenspoint aka Gunspoint is an unsafe neighborhood to start with.
2-We got robbed at 11 PM right at the gate of these apartment while my stay.
3-If you sign for a year, and decide to break your lease and move out since you dont like getting robbed, you have to pay for the entire year. There's no other way.
4-I still moved out, let a friend of mine stay. After the lease, apt people charged me around 250 cuz my friend left some trash there. I paid it promptly.
5-My APR for my credit cards went up, loans got denied etc. Turned out they reported me to collections department BY MISTAKE.
6-Upon calling them, they rudely said they'll fix it. No apologies or anything.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“The staff can never figure out what the other staff members are doing. It has taken me 2 months to get my refrigerator fixed. And, as of now it has taken 3 weeks to get my A/C fixed. However the price is nice but the service is bad and the new residence from "Katrina" doesn't make anything better.”
— 220 NORTHPOINT DR · Houston“They suck! and don't get your orders taken care of in a timely matter!”
