“New manager and maintance need to learn how to talk to the tenant was happy living here but not all I do is worry fell in the parking lot one night still having problem with my wrist the let you toliet stay back up all night with a one bedroom maintance come in trying to see who is in your apartment nobody messing with her lead maintance”

“Beware of the lies disrespect rudeness and attitude. If you are not good for ure self you would be bankrupt and homeless living here people are struggling to make it and because of changes in the office staff due to what ever and they know why they can’t keep people here people are moving and getting evicted left right and center when this new woman come in here and think someone died and made her queen of the beast can’t keep up with her own records and she is so rude and unprofessional discussing tenants business with other people putting notes on my door and it’s her error but wants to pick and messed with the wrong ones because I’m not the right one. She needs to know watch around because u never knows who’s listening Advertising u from the south ent scaring no one That’s not u in the office for not to try to make people afraid of u u should be learning etiquette and ure mathematics not to try to rip off struggling people. Corporate needs to really know about ure nasty rude attitude u are just making people want to get to heck away from here instead of staying here. Monkey should know what tree to climb on and ure climbing on the wrong tree woman”

“I have been at The Worthington for 5 years now and I have had no serious problem. The place is in a great location and I've never had problems with any neighbors or office staff. Julie has been great help since the day I moved in with changing apartment from a one bedroom to a two bedroom and getting maintenance out for any emergencies. The new office manager, Angie has also been great in resolving any issues. They do have security that patrols the area in the evening. Overall it is a decent place to stay and the pricing is affordable.”

“Let me write my review while I'm sitting in a tub full of COLD WATER ! Yu have to absolutely be DESPERATE to move back here ! I'm from New Orleans and I've been living here for 2 years ! The first year was OKAY BARELY !! The second year roll around and it has gotten WORSE !! New ppl in the office every 3-4 months . There is NO HOT water at least4 times a week and Julie will say it's a " PIPE BUST " ?? don't try to move bc Angie the property will drraaaggggg for the apartments yu trying to move in !! Like these any better ??!! I THINK TF NOOTTT !! I had mold they came sprayed it with PAINT ! I've been without air for 4 days now and they " claim " they ordering a piece then it was oh I didn't answer my door the day before now it's I need a whole new air conditioner unit !! The maintenance man don't know NOTHING ! Expect the police to be back here often . Shootings DAILY . No parking AT ALL ! I went in the office for a spot and I never got one ! But yu have people who buy parking spaces and still use up regular parking . They didn't even put a notice to advise the residents of purchasing a spot . Yu just see assigned parking out of nowhere !! BUT PLEASE TRUST AND BELIEVE THEY WANT THEY RENT ON TIME AND NOT A DAY LATE !!! This review going all across GOOGLE , BBB , Houston Apartment Association, , yahoo , ! IF I HAVE TO PUT IT ON A BILLBOARD & DO A COMMERCIAL I WILL !!!”

“The changes in the community are excellent. All my concerns are now being addressed and quickly. I've recommended my closest friends and family to come live here. The office staff is so helpful and the maintenance guys are really nice. Grounds, amenities location it's just wonderful being part of the Worthington Family!”

“Don't move here very noisy grounds are not kept up. Can't wait to move and get away from here. No kind of security at night the complex is very dark needs more lighting. No where to park when coming in because of cars that doesn't work. Trash always overflowing and everywhere”

“I love this Place I have been happy living here at the Worthington since June of 2014. I think that its quiet, The office staff are really cool and helpful. I keep my place clean to make sure I don't have any bugs or any other invaders, I used a great product called Orthro ( which can be dangerous for children and animals so be careful) Other than that once I got the bug issue fixed, I enjoy living at the Worthington and would refer all my friends.”

“The staff is great. I have never had a bad experiance with the office staff. I have had several minor issues that I brought to their attention. They took care of them immediately. I have read a couple bad reviews on this site and remember some of these tenents. Unfortunately some tenents are very dirty an like to try to mess with appartment staff because they where forced to leave because of sanitary issues. My appartment is in great condition and I hope to continue living here for years to come.”

“I have lived here for a year and I would have to say I have had enjoyed my stay here. Darlene and Julie are people that have been very helpful when I was going thru difficult times. They worked with me when I was going thru a difficult time with money problems and helped me down size from a 2 bedroom to a 1 bedroom. As soon as I get back on my feet they will move me back in a 2 bedroom. I like this place so far and I don't see me going any where anytime soon.”

“I loved it. The office staff is incredible I had no issues in the apartment. I moved out of state for work. I'll be returning to Houston and quite honestly I'm going back to the Worthington. I felt at home and can't wait to get back in my old apartment 721.”

“I have lived here about a year. When I move in I told they about about my vents were had mold all over. Every time we got home you could smell the humidity in the apartment. They changed out the vents but didn't take care of the mold problem. Now I have mold all over my walls and the vents and kitchen.And my daughter has started experience breathing and chest problems rash all over her body coughing. I have been doing my own research and found out that mold can be very dangerous. Want to be transferred to another apartment but not sure if I want to stay anymore. What if It happens again. If anyone else is having these problems and you have kids pls have the check out by a doc.”

“I have lived here for 2 1/2 years and very happy to be moving out. These apartments have an VERY BAD infestation problem (ROACHES ARE EVERYWHERE), the gate is always broken, my car was broken into and stolen last month and I am grateful my lease is finally up and I am finally getting out of here! The office staff didn't seem to care when I reported my car was stolen. The maintenance move really slow and it is a serious raccoon problem going on at night. You can actually hear them climbing on the roofs, and getting on the porches taring whatever you have out. I wouldn't recommend moving here, especially if you have children.”

“I live here at The Worthington now and have been for 5 years. I can honestly say the property has improved since the owners got a new team out here a couple of years ago. I don't see people hanging out on the steps or with loud music in the parking lot. I have seen Darlene get involved in a lot of things with people acting crazy and kicking people out of the pool. That is her job to keep the property quiet and to keep the trashy people out. We needed someone like her a long time ago. I have spoken with her and Julie several times and I have nothing but good things to say about the both of them. Its funny how people can always put the negative things on paper or internet but when something good is done they never get appraised for it. I have recommended a few people here and I will continue to because I really never had any issues here.”

“I am a current resident (since July 2013) and I try to avoid contacting staff. The first year I lived in the Worthington, I continuously had to report mold on my ceiling until I took actions into my own hands. I had to inform Darlene, the ------ manager, that this was my last time reporting the nasty mold because I had a baby on the way and the leaks were just unbearable. First she'd lie and say there was not a leak. Next there was a bullet on the roof so it hit my unit. Last she thought there was a problem with the raccoons that would crawl up and down on the roof tops and balconies. I had enough of her lies. After complaining for a whole year, she finally fixed the issue. So yes I renewed my lease because the rates were reasonable and I did not live in a unit where I had to always report activity. I did not appreciate the spiders or roaches. I was told I had to spray myself or wait for them to spray. I do not get along with the staff because they have a strange way of making up excuses when something needs to be done. I am not the only resident there who feels this way. I was lied to about the work orders they would leave behind saying they had fixed this or that, but I would have to go back into the office and make another report. It is a problem when you have to deal with the staff or management after hours. For example I had reported my locks being loose because before I moved in I was told that door was tampered. It didn't bother me at first, but as I had my child I became more cautious. So I had already requested my work orders only be taken care of when I am home. Not only did they change the locks while I was at work, but Darlene wise --- decided to not call me to inform me where my key would be. After several attempts of reaching her through their "emergency after hour line" she answered her phone and explained to me that it was not her job to inform me that the locks were changed, and she thought her staff contacted me. Bs. She even had the nerve to tell me to call a Locksmith knowing she had the key in the mail box. I had to curse her out to get the key. Anyways, I do appreciate the low rates. I would recommend staying in the front, the 8 unit, or close to the gate. The other units I have witnessed cops near, loud noises, and "extra activity." Good luck and be blessed. Oh and plan to wash clothes else where if you will not have a unit yourself, they make you trade your coins in for tokens and its high priced machines that are small. The gate is broken at least 3 times a month. The parking is ridiculous !!! The parking is like a business itself (unavailable after 10 pm). I have parked on the opposite side of the apartments before. If your car has been burglarized like mines, they wont do anything! Most issues they cant do anything! Sorry --- staff.”

“Where do I even start with this apartment complex. I move into this complex after me and my wife graduated from college. The rent was suitable for two entry level incomes. Upon signing my lease I asked the leasing agent to be honest with me and assure me three things before I signed my lease. I asked for assurance that my unit was free of any bug infestation. I also asked for verification that they enforce a noise violation policy, and that the complex was safe. ------ verified that they could meet all my request. There was many maintenance issues, but my complaints surprisingly have nothing to do with maintenance issues. The issues with this complex are safety and comfort issues. I was not living here one month before I was woken at 3 am to sound of someone screaming in the parking lot. I looked out to see 4 ----- males beating a ----- male. My neighbor stepped out of his apartment and began yelling "---- that ----- boy up. ---- ----- people." It wasn't only but a week later I heard yelling coming from the parking lot again. -------------------------------- were having a lovers dispute in the middle of the parking lot. Yelling the most disrespectful obscenities I ever heard. I feel sorry for anyone who has children in this complex. The things the children are forced to hear is awful! This time I called the manager. ------- told me "There was nothing she could do. I needed to call the cops." I stepped out on my balcony and one of the females saw me and started yelling "What the ---- are you looking at ----- boy". I went back in my apartment and called the cops, they came two hours later. Saddest thing about it, ------------ were still fighting when the cops came. After the cops left, ------------ went over to my car and scratched it three times. They did about $4000 in damage to my paint. At this time I did not know where they lived and ------- would not give me their information to press charges. ------- told my wife later that she had evicted them. However, we saw them everyday still living in the apartment. They even updated their vehicle stickers with office several times. ------- will straight lie to your face! On top of being an awful manager who's absolutely awful at her job, she is also a very dishonest and disrespectful person. Several times after this incident, I witnessed ------------ sitting on the balcony of apartment ---- smoking what I can only describes as crack! The ------- who is obviously is trying to look like a boy would try to stare me and my wife down to intimidate us the entire time we lived there. If you live here pray that you don't get a unit near ----! One Sunday as I was relaxing on my only day off, I had a -------- male park right in front of my unit and turn tejano music on as loud as he could get it and started drinking. I stepped out and asked him "Could you turn down you music?". He yelled at me" Hey guero, Come down here!" I told him, "turn down the music or I'll call the cops". He drove off very quickly. There were many times that we heard gunshots coming from the parking lot and the park located in the back of the apartments. There was a reported armed robbery in October 2014. The parking lot has an unusual amount of traffic and people will drive in, park and never leave their cars. A lot of people will sit in their cars and smoke drugs. I have seen numerous drug deals in the parking lot. I witnessed several fights and a ton of alcohol drinking right out in the open. Near the 1200 building lives a maintenance man who drives a yellow pickup. The pickup has a dysfunctional car alarm that will go off every 30 minutes. He does nothing to turn it off. He just lets it run through the cycle. It will go off all day and all night. Management will not correct him for disturbing the residents! And what I fine worst about Worthington .....Just about everyone who lives in this place drives in with either loud bass induced hip hop or tejano music, so loud it will rattle your walls. Some will sit out in their cars and party with music/bass at a ridiculous level while drinking or smoking for several hours. The parking lot becomes a ------ hip hop club every night! They also like to party in the stairwells. I don't understand the blatant disrespect and lack of consideration for the neighbors here. In the 1 bedroom apartments you can hear everything that goes on in the stairwells. After the only ----- neighbor I had moved out, ------- put a couple of --------------------------------. I even saw one of them having sex in the stairwell! I have heard and seen some really bad and illegal things happening right out side my door! I didn't want to....... but I feel I need to warn others. This is not the place for ----------! I am not racists, never have been, and never will be. However, living here has opened my eyes to the real attitudes of minorities towards ----- people. I have lived all over Houston, and I never witnessed such chaos. I have never lived anywhere in which my ----- neighbors yell "---- ----- people" at 3 am! Seriously what the hell is wrong with you people at Worthington! The people who live at Worthington is prime example of whats wrong with this country. Worthington is overcrowded with minority low life drug users who choose to mooch of the government. These two races have proved to me that ignorance and poor education breeds very stupid, inconsiderate, and dangerous people. I guess standing out in public screaming all their hate and ignorance is how the ----- and ------- communities do things! This place is an awful hell hole!!!”

“Love this place. It has change a lot. I live here 2 years ago and just come back couple of months ago I LOVE THE CHANGES THAT HAS BEEN MADE .The complete area have bad reputation but this complex is very good. we have cameras around the Property also gate is close. Some times the people brake the gate but management is very professional on top of everything take care the situation right away. Office personnel very helpful and friendly . Some little issues with parking but you always will found one probably not right at front of your apartment but close to it. Cheap and great place to live. if you are looking for family environment this is the right place but if looking for hanging out and some other activity this is not the place for you.”

“I am a resident also, don't even look here just keep driving, yes nice large walk-in closet, a decent amount of square footage for a 1 bedroom, I think about 700. Day 1 of move in roaches everywhere, pee stains in carpet, floor so uneven needed Dramamine to walk thru apartment, hot water goes out bi-weekly, so much dog crap everywhere, I can't look up til my feet hit a parking space, staff is horrible, they tried to over charge me six times that I can remember. I had to show my money order Stubbs. They have tried 3 times to fix my leaking dishwasher. All appliances are from the 70's. Harvest gold is no longer available on appliances, giving away the age of theirs. Not even close to enough parking. Only reason I stayed was that I was out of time to find a place. All the vents have been painted several times. Black mold around windows and doors in the vents too. Staff could care less.”

“Run, Run, Run, Run, the other way. The staff is impossible to work with. I have black mold growing on my windows and air vents and for the last three weeks, I called and all I get is false promises about taking care of this deadly situation. I have been without a working toilet for 3 weeks. Take my advise this apartment complex is the worst.”

“I have been living here since July 2014 and it has been horrible. The infestations here are ridiculous and the office staff, especially the rude office manager do not care about the residents or the issues you have. Since I have been living here, I have had roaches (which will not go away), bed bugs, and fleas (I have no pets). When I told the staff I had bed bugs, which I have never had before, they asked where did I bring them from? I said well I didn't have them when I moved in and they must have already been here. Instead of trying to help me with my problem, they wanted to play the blame game. Then they lied and said they were sending someone out to exterminate-they never did. Then a couple weeks later, after I had thrown out my bed and sprayed the walls down with alcohol, the office manager and her employee finally came to see if I was telling the truth about the bed bugs. The manager said again she was sending someone to spray and to shampoo the carpets. Needless to say none of it happened and no seems to even care. Fortunately, I got rid of the bed bugs myself, but I am still fighting the roaches. They come and spray watered down bug spray that the roaches simply walk around and they just don't care about their residents. I cannot wait until my lease is up to move out, because the environment is really ------ and my neighbors above me are always fighting all hours of the night- it is really starting to get annoying. DON'T move here, even if it is cheap, it is not worth it!!!!!”

“This place is terrible! We moved in under the impression that this place, despite being in this neighborhood was quiet. That's a bold faced lie! Every night people come through with base so loud it shakes our windows, even though it clearly states in the lease about noise violations. We were told that this place is randomly patrolled the only time I've ever seen cops in here is when there was a fight going on between some of the tenants, when an old lady was removed from her apartment and when someones apartment was broken into just below ours (the cops came only after I had called) If you are white this place is not safe at all! (I am white) I can't leave my apartment with out any kind of protection for fear the non-white residents may harm me. There have been many nights of fights in the parking lot, on in particular I could hear/see a bunch of black men beating on a white man and yelling "Kill them, kill that KKK mfer" Again I called the cops: who actually asked if a male (also white) would go and try to break it up (really!?) I've seen drug deals happen right in front of my apartment or even in the washrooms, other residents have said there were shootings in the "park" they have. At least 5 times a day, mostly in the evening, a very loud and annoying car alarm goes off for at least 2-3 minutes the owner of the vehicle is a maintenance worker. We were promised that the washrooms would be open all the time 3 times in the last 3 months I've found it locked with no notice when I asked the office about it they said it must be having maintenance done! A notice would be nice! So people aren't scrambling to find a place to wash their clothes. The women in the office are rude and inconsiderate they act like anything you come to do there is a huge inconvenience to them and are only helpful when you push them to do anything. Please for the sake of your family and yourself do not move here it is not worth the trouble it causes. if you need to live somewhere save your money go with out internet, cable, whatever so you can afford to live in a better place”

“I have signed a 12 month lease and I have only been here about 5 months. I don't have any children and it's just my significant other and I here. We have the smallest 1 bedroom floorplan and we are very satisfied with the space inside. We have a roomy living room, a nice sized bedroom, large walk in closet, large patio AND an outside laundry room with washer and dryer connections. We got a move in special for $510. The only complaints I have is that the hot water/cold water in the shower has a mind of it's own... you could be showering with a perfect temperature and all of a sudden the water turns to scalding hot! Then it will get cold on you! You have to continuously adjust the water throughout the whole shower time... not cool for guests lol but we've gotten used to it now... Mold in the toilet that always comes back no matter what chemicals I use... we had a roach problem when we first moved in...but we had them exterminate twice and we don't see them anymore. The maintenance/management has been good on fixing things we've needed, if they didn't come same day, they were here early the next morning.... just watch out for the maintenance men if you're a lady and home alone... one of the guys seemed a little fishy... kind of made me uneasy like he wanted to get me in bed or something... Overall, I am enjoying my stay here and my price for rent. Not really any noisy neighbors, but when there are a few people out front, inside my apartment you hardly hear anything....”

“Don't do it.... When I moved in my apartment was broken into twice in one month. The apartment staff knew my apartment was broken into and LOCKED THE DOOR BEHIND THE ASSES THAT STOLE MY STUFF. Did I mention they didn't bother to call me after locking up? Yes they did they felt it was personal so they didn't call me. The 2nd break in they called and said my door had been open for days. Mind u I didn't go back cause they wouldn't fix the broken window until they got a copy of the police report. They finally agreed to let me out my lease. Told me I had until Sunday to remove all my things. Well when the movers came Sunday my stuff said FIND ME. they removed EVERYTHING from my apartment except the big stuff. Julie said they called the porters to come clean and the other lady said they didn't call anyone. Too late Julie already told on yall. The office people are nothing but crooks... DONT DO IT. I paid first and last month rent to move in and they would not refund me anything. Only reason they let me out my lease was because i reported them to the Houston Apartment association... KEEP LOOKING”
