“This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life from the horrible rude unprofessional condescending demeanor or the management team or the horrible living conditions and water leaks and mold to the roaches and mice and broken windows, bloody handprint and trash everywhere & broken mailboxes and still wanting $1000 a month is absolutely insane. Run like the wind and never look back the people in the office will talk to you like a dog and anyone that has some type of intelligence that knows what they’re talking about they give a hard time. They have the worst communication skills I’ve ever encountered and this place should be condemned and torn down. They don’t care about the health and safety of residents all they care about is money in their pockets.”

“I've been living in that complex for a while. The worst apartment ever I've seen . Always there are problems and issues . And the office people hide themselves instead of taking care of resident's request. Customer service =ZERO Management = ZERO Security = ZERO I left this place 2 years ago and paid off everything that time and after 2 years sent a bill to the collection without any notice to me and have owed me a big money . And already messed up my credit and my history . I talked with 5 other old residents who they also left that place , they got the same issue . So be cautious this is the way this complex making money from old residents . The money which never belong to them. Please whoever is going to rent this place let them know not even pass through that complex. Cuz they doing some thing which can be called SCAM . They would tell you if you pay the money your name would get remove from collection but they just lying and even if collection remove your balance still your name would stay in their history and never would get removed . This is the worst favour Watermill do to the redisents . Be careful if you still living there before you leave get the owner's signature which you not owe anything . Cuz management group changing all the time .”

“These apartments suck ---. Maintenance sucks ---. Managers suck ---. A leasing agent who just left from here wrote a review on how these apartments SUCK ---. 5-6 different managers in a year that I’ve been here. Aaron was the most crooked. The water is off half the week & if it is on there’s NO HOT WATER. AThis NEW lady is crazy for even thinking she’s running such an elegant community. Nothing is going to change around here but a manager?? what aren’t they doing right they’ve went through so many people? GOODLUCK TO UR ------ PARKING LOT & roach infested apartments?????????? & Clean the pool it’s green as ----. & the elevators don’t even work stahhhhp lying. Garden been dead since I moved in they planted one time & they died the next day. LOl.”

“Definitely not worth the money. Major roaches,my air has been out for 5 days. Can't cook or sleep because it's near 90 degrees in the apartment. The office staff doesn't care. Water leaks everywhere. Trash all over the complex along with dog crap. Have been robbed at gun point in the complex. I highly recommend staying away from leasing here”

“In my apartment for a little over a month and this place is horrible and it’s falling apart. The pictures are what they want you to see. I have a running log of complaints. They send maintenance out and then they say they are coming back and no one every come back. The lady that work in the office came out to see my complaints and still only one things was corrected and that was replacing the light bulbs. Quick to evict and slow to fix. Pets are allowed but cats are everywhere where.”

“The beautiful landscape all around the complex is amazing. Mature trees of all types on the property. I like the New Orleans-style courtyard with trees. Noise control is better and conflicts are few, however, the police have been called more than they use to be. The complex is called a "Second Chance" Apartment. That's good for people looking and need a "Second Chance". MAINTENANCE: I currently have a ceiling leak and get get it repaired. There is mold and mildew that continues to grow. I keep going in to speak with the Manager. Two months ago, she was to schedule a full inspection of my apartment. This has not occurred. I spoke with the manager in July about the ceiling. I went by yesterday (Saturday) and only the receptionist was in the office. I left four telephone messages to speak with the supervisor (Jennifer). I have not heard back from anyone in a management position. I will contact the Health Department tomorrow morning 8/16/2021. Not safe.”

“I have left 3 messages for the Manager and 1 with the Management Co. I have never received a return call to my concerns. When I call the office half the time they don't answer or when I go to the office during business hrs the door is locked. The parking situation is ridiculous, the noise from the neighbors, pets and children has disrupted any peace & quiet of the last 6 months. I am embarrassed to have friends over with all the trash and type of tenants that have recently moved in here. They would rather lose a good paying tenant than try to resolve or be sympathetic to anything u tell them. They went as far as to offer me out of my lease with a 30 day notice instead of the contracted 60 day notice. If that doesn't say they don't care idk what would.”

“living here for 6 yrs. this complex getting worse and worse every day instead of being better. please do NOT choose here as your place to live. it is not safe at all. every single day hears neighbors too loud fighting. every night I wake up about 3 a.m. or 4 a.m., because of the super loud arguing the couples live around my apartment do at that time. I am really pissed off. It makes me disappointed life in here. They put a sign about '' one-month free rent'', so whoever runs to them, they give the apartment to them without regarding are they qualified and even they do not tell them the rules. a lot of more things about this community, people put the trash by the big storage that belongs to the workers which are yuk and the management even did not notify them. The area, when you drive, you get frustrated because there are bumps all over it which made here so ugly. I am waiting for my contract over and never ever recommend this place to anybody. please there are a lot more places with much facilities, go for those.”

“Run away from this apartment as fast as you can. The property was purchased by Headway back in October of 2019 and it has been going downhill ever since. Yeah, the office workers might be nice to you when you're looking at renting an apartment with them, but once you sign the lease - it's to hell with you. Whatever rent they offer you when you come to tour the apartment may look attractive, especially for the area. But, once you sign the lease, and get all moved in - you'll realize that you've made a huge mistake. 1. The gates are always malfunctioning, and broken. Anyone can come into the property off of Westheimer because of it. I've seen homeless people walking around the apartment complex at all times of the day, digging through the trash, looking inside vehicles. 2. The office staff changes every month or so. We've been through at least 3 or 4 different property managers since Headway took over the property in October of 2019, and I can't even count how many leasing agents we have been through so far. Do not expect anything from the leasing office at all, they are only there to bait you into moving into their apartments. If you have legitimate issues regarding safety, liability, or any kind of concern - do not expect them to help you or take ownership of anything. Nothing is ever their fault. Just shut up, pay your rent and leave them alone. The current staff really lacks in professionalism and good Customer Service. Maybe by the time you are reading this they will have been through another 4 or 5 property managers and finally have a manager who's goal is to retain tenants who actually pay their rent, rather than piss us off and end up giving them a 60 day notice because of their b.s. 3. The apartments are seriously falling apart and just need to be torn down rather than have a company come in and make them "more beautiful" (as the current leasing team says.) The floors in my apartment on the 2nd floor are uneven in places, the floors creak, and there are places in the hallway that I am terrified to step on because I'm afraid that I will fall through into the apartment below me. The tile in my kitchen is busted, and the grout in between the tiles keeps coming up. We've had the sewer back up on the property multiple times as well. There was an apartment fire a few years ago which took out a bunch of units in the back, and we didn't get a notice. Also, the parking lot is terrible and always needs maintenance. Parawest repaved the parking lot once before. Then a year or so later, it was bad again. 4. A lot of the residents here tend to keep to themselves, and don't cause any problems. But, there are definitely some sketchy characters that live here. I've witnessed numerous fights, doors being slammed, glass being broken, people yelling and screaming at each other at all times of the night. My advice would be to run as far away as you can from this place. It's not worth it. Go further down Westheimer into the actual Galleria area and there are better apartments that will provide you with way better Customer Service than what Watermill Apartments can provide you. It's truly not worth the stress to live here.”

“They do not care ABOUT RESIDENTS COMPLAINTS, HAVE NO SECURITY ALL TYPE OF PEOPLE CAN WALK AND COME THROUGH FROM WESTHEIMER AND NEIGHBORS ARE ALL LOUD AND HAVE NO RESPECT TELL APRTMENT PEOPLE THEY DONT CARE WATER IS ALWAYS OFF THEY PROPERTY IS DISGUSTING NO CAMERA ON PROPERTY THEY SWITCH MANAGEMENT THE WATY THEY SWITCH CLOTHES COPS ARE ALWAYS HERE. CHEAP BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.”

“I hate it and wish i could get out of my lease now. There are things on my apartment that I've been asking for a year that they be repaired. They still are not fixed. Have a case with Houston Apartment Association pending against this property. I've called channel 13 and the City on them.”

“I do not recommend this apartment to any body. Do not even think about it , honestly you will be regret. Nothing is good about here , I am going to leave. Last 4 management were worst and not listening at all. and new management doesn't care too. it is about one month the exit gate is broken and nobody fix it; however it just take couple of hours so all the cars enter and exit from one gate which is dangerous. the complex area has a lot of bumps which made it ugly as well as hurting cars. we asked them since 2 years ago to do asphalt , they pretend they are doing but it is still same, nobody really revise. they raise the rent every year but do not do nothing for resident's peace. I am seriously frustrated with this complex, even do not like talk with office management. please choose other apartments which at least you know who is manager and even they hear you.”

“Hi I need a response from the owner. On September 3rd maintenance came in, and said they would fix the AC. It's not fixed I demand that the owner hire new maintenance, for watermill management. Another maintenance crew that has experience to fix the AC.”

If my rent was not where it is now I would have moved when the new manager came in several months ago. Rude not friendly doesn't know anything about how to run a property. Zero customer service. Again if you want to have nice place to live with BS don't move here, You will bee living within a month Guarantee!!”

“Hi, I've lived here for about 2 1/2 and I love this property! The grounds are beautiful with large shade trees and the peaceful sounds of running water coming from the fountains located through out the property. The maintenance is a little slow but they always get the job done. The manager, Uyliana Gonzalez always greeted me with a warm and welcoming smile. She's always willing and ready to assist with any concerns or problems dealing with my apartment. Thank you Uyliana for caring.”

“If I could leave 0 stars I would. DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. There is a terrible roach infestation that's disgusting. We had maintenance come exterminate and our roach problem only got worse. Twice now we've had someone else's nasty dish water overflow our sink. They supposedly fixed it and then it happened worse. I talked to Yulie at the front and she gave me nothing but attitude, came inside and told me I needed to clean because its a health hazard since there's trash and she wouldn't want her kids living like that. There is simply trash in the trash cans, we've got clothes everywhere and there's toys. That's a typical mom of two house. I cleaned the day before yesterday, am not a hoarder of trash, but I was insulted because they don't want to have to fix the damages THEY caused. A health hazard is not having someone competent enough to fix a flooding issue in the first place. I told her I woke up and almost slipped and my toddler did slip in all the water which she said nothing of. THAT is a health hazard. That's extremely dangerous. We had water all over our kitchen and all through our hallway because in fixing the apartment next to us, they messed up OUR pipe lining. There is also almost always some kind of extremely loud construction going on - probably because the place is falling apart. When I moved in the toilet constantly overflowed and we had to get that fixed. It's been one problem after another and I've been here only about 6 months. They have multiple men come blow leaves outside of your window for 45 minutes at 6am on Mondays during the summer while there's hardly any leaves, while shouting back and forth at each other and blasting -------- music. Also, you can hear everything through the extremely thin walls, including yelling and the people above us stomping and slamming doors at 4am. Save yourself and find a better apartment complex that cares about their residence and doesn't insult their tenants when trying to solve a problem. You can find cheaper prices at better places.”

“I don't like this community because of its management staff. There are always loud voices from the swimming pool. The new management does not carefully choose good residents to maintain the reputation of the place as others would have done. But all that matters to them is that the place is occupied by anyone, no matter how long there are always loud voices and quarrels inside the place”

“I love WaterMill apartments. Especially the ladies Juliana Gonzalez and Claudia Benitez they both are wonderful and amazing people. When you have any concerns or complaint there on top of it. I'm the mailman in the apartment and I notice how quite it was so I've moved in and the warm and friendly welcome I got from the office staff was amazing. I've loved it soooo much I got three of my friends to move there as well. Those ladies go wayyy above the call of duty they are always egar to go the extra mile to help you out. Ladies continue to keep up the great work!”

“Pros The location is great for the price, the complex is pretty quiet and there is always something happening for the residence in the office! The staff is ok nothing special about the service provided by them. Since I have been here for 2 years there have not been any break-ins or robberies and I feel safe here. Cons ROACHES...I have never had them before I came to this complex, I keep my apartment nice and neat but nothing helps they always pop up. They offer pest control every Monday but they literally come spray for a few minutes and leave. They are not handling the issue the roaches reside in the walls and they need to have the entire complex professionally treat every unit. The maintenance guy takes weeks to come out and resolve any issues. Pet owners on the property are horrible they allow their pets to use the parking lot as their bathroom instead of taking them to the designated pet area on the grounds. I have had a big pile of poop right in front of my door at least twice, management usually sends out a letter but nothing ever gets done about it. They shut the water off at least two or three times a month for what reason I don't know because it doesn't seem to change a thing. The water temp changes on the drop of a dime while you are showering going from cold to extremely hot.”

“This place wasn't so bad. I lived here about two years ago with a roommate for a year. There were occasional roaches but that is to be expected in a Houston apartment. The office staff were pretty nice and helpful. We didn't have any maintenance issues. Most of the neighbors kept to themselves. The biggest issue I found was that the upstairs neighbor was incredibly loud and at inappropriate times like the middle of the night. The other thing is they charged us about 300 dollars when we moved out and never informed me. They called my roommate (who was irresponsible and unreliable--hence moving out) but not the other person on the lease who's credit would also be affected. I found out from debt collectors after it had already been put on my credit report. That's was certainly annoying but not irreparable. Over all it was an average experience for the price, location, and amenities.”

“Pros: Location in the city, price for the location, smaller apartment complex, gated community, covered parking, spacious units, central air/heat, included washer/dryer, laundry room in complex Cons: roach infested, allocated water bill, noisy residents, thin walls, can hear your neighbors sneeze If you can tolerate the cons, then this is the place for you. If not, PLEASE look elsewhere.”

“Just note 3 things before moving: 1) Roach 2) BAD maintenance 3)Rude and mean leasing office I used to live at watermill apartment and believe me it was the worst apartment that I have ever seen. Roaches were everywhere and DIANNA just think about money! Somebody hit my car and 4 other cars at the parking and nobody was responsible for that!”

“i love those apartments. if you are looking to move to the westheimer area then you definitly need to check out these apartments. they are very quiet and very well orientedl. the staff is very professional and always cater to our needs. i love the layout for the 1 bedroom. will difinitly keep refering my friends to the watermill.”
