“Horrible, the gates never works.. they keep people here to kids tire up the place. Fights, breaking in car and house. Never see security.. they don't follow they own rules.. no one never really know what's going on.. u have those they try they best in office.. but manager make the whole team look bad.. can't keep enough maintenance workers.. they want u do everything online.. then thats a mess. System be down.. u moved in with mirowave attached but then of its breaks u have buy your own.. horrible.. they need to been on expected by the city.. rat problem ants problem. Dogs every where... u have to pay for everything.. filter,blinds, light bulbs,”

“I will break my reviews in this apartment into sections. 1. Locality and outside look 5 stars...great location 2. Office 1 stairs. The worst to deal with and they don't care. That is an indication of your first RED signs. 3. Communication and service. 1 stars. No courtesy and no business language. They act as if you are begging for a service.”

“The application process is totally bogus it's all online there was some type of glitch where it took almost 2 months to get straightened out just to accept my screening afterwards the application said pending for about a month then I got an email stating that I was declined for no contact when the whole time I was texting and sending emails previously with Alma the assistant. She not once contacted me to give me any kind of status update whatsoever all I was told is to do everything online but I get an email saying I'm declined for no contact. Don't waste your time people I'm in my early 50s and I've never in my entire life seen such a unprofessional crew of folks it's like they're hustling people out of their application fees literally...”

“Poor maintenance of this property to say that this is government funded, all amenities should be available and maintained for tenants to have access to, as a concern tenant I think that Hud and the Health department should be aware of this property and situation.”

“Roach infestation no parking spaces for tenants who aren't on housing,crime is higher than HAVERSTOCK ,ITS A HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!! the manager has no concern for her tenants,says they sorry for everything but does nothing to correct problems,non registered vehicles taking up all the parking,you forced to park far away from your apt. Our vehicles have been broken into over 3 times,office manager I'm so sorry no police security,gates are always broken,. Lease says gated community,that's a lie.”

“The foolishness of this property. They have now verbally threaten my mom a (Senior Citizen) to pay for a plumber to come out and fix the mistake they made with the dishwasher they installed!!. The rent is 1400 plus and they asking her to pay 500 additional dollars. These apartments are a joke and have do respect for there tenants. I have reached out to the corporate office several times and they haven't communicated at all. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE ON GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE!!! NO SLANDER. YOU JUST DON'T TREAT PAYING TENANTS THIS WAY WHEN THINGS ARE NOT SAFE OR BEING HANDLED PROFESSIONALLY”

“They are rude when they are under pressure. Been waiting to get things fix in my apartment for a week now. Call 3 days ago and was told that my work orders was place in the maintenance hands that day. 3 days later still nothing call with no attitude ask a simple question and the lady got a whole attitude hung the phone up in my face. Go in the office and she tried to make it seem like it was me with the attitude got loud with me. Management came out of her office and put me out the office like hold up it’s your worker.”

“I have been living on this property for 16years & I like it here. I haven’t had any issues since I been here. I like the neighbors and it’s quite in my area. I don’t have any plans on moving lol. I really like it here.”

“After reading all of these negative reviews on these websites of google, yelp, and now here, i decided to give my own perspective. Not all of these reviews are correct. People get pissed because of whatever reason and decide to go on a rant. No apartment community is perfect and everyone makes mistakes. Shantee the apartment manager is great to work with. She will take care of you as long as you do right by the complex. Mind the rules and also be a good neighbor and pay your rent. These negative reviews actually upset me. I love living here. There are issues from time to time, but who doesnt experience issues. This is an older property and they are doing their best to upgrade the community since they took ownership under new management. They have upgraded Great amenities and upgrade packages to choose from. Conveniently located to the mall and many eating establishments! The office staff is always nice and respectful to me. I feel like family. I live in a more upgraded apartment and i love it. I have wood floors and very well kept and maintained appliances. There could be upgrades but like i said they are doing it little by little. It costs alot of money to do so. If you want a fair rent and decent place to live in a very crime free area. Then choose Timber Ridge. That is all! Negative people need to stay off of here. Just saying. I believe in giving a review but some of these reviews are not true. Ive lived here over 3 years and some of these things do not occur.”

“So, I put it a request for maintenance, on Nov 25, 2019. Because the air went out and water is dripping from the bathroom ceiling. On Dec 2 2019, I went back into the office to follow up, and pay my rent. I was told maintenance will be out to look at it. As of Dec 10, 2019, my bathroom is now flooding every night smh.”

“I love where I live have No problem with anyone I just don't like being charged for everything that they do in my home I went out of town for the weekend and came back with a busted window Monday went to the office they say they have nothing to do with it I have to pay for a window I asked them to check the camera they say they do not have a camera don't understand why I am paying $950 for rent and have no security the have my truck broke in twice since I moved here tow it up inside went to the office they say you should have full coverage on your car they are so cold-hearted in that office to be a manager”

“This 'community' started out pretty nice. When we first moved here it was pleasant and clean. We rarely had problems and maintenance got the job done on time. Now as of 12/11/2018 this apartment complex is worse than trash. The maintenance no longer gets done. The office staff are rude and dismissive. This place is no longer worth living at but we can't move right now. STAY AWAY you don't want the headache and drama. Trust me.”

“I'm actually applying for a apartment here now 7/19/2016.I was warned by a pass resident and reading the reviews but I took it upon myself to still apply bad ideal.First Tiffany fast talk you into believing there's not many units available for the voucher,So to secure a apartment you pay 275.00 deposit plus 41.00 application fee which I have no problem with,but I'm going to tell you this the these people are beyond unprofessional,They have a stragety their nice enough to get the deposit once you hand over the first deposit wait and second one coming which I paid.If you don't contact them don't worry they not going to bother you.I haven't heard any of these words part their mouths but if you have a voucher be expected to be looked at differently. I understand some people who's reside there with a voucher before may have did bad things but everyone with a voucher is not bad,Bad things in life happens to good people well I'm actually waiting on Crystal the property manager to contact me...To be Continue Guys...”

“good im ms.roni and i would to like write something positive about about tiffany,she was very professional with me,and while she was trying to take care of me and others that was coming in and out of the office she never once forgot about me.she checked my paper work seen an error pointed it out to me,and i immediately corrected it,which it was an error on my part,but she saw it in time and got me started all over again with a correct application,after it was all said and done we had our own conversation for which she learned it was a lot more to me than what my main job is,i had other things going as well,after talking to her, she now knows that she can not be discouraged by what one person told her and that she has plenty of options to choose from and i given her permission to call me anytime for any information i can give her,she was a great help to me,sometimes things happen for a reason,and just maybe we can learn something here,get to know a person in there personal life as well and you just might find out.SOMETIMES THE INFORMATION A PERSON IS GIVING IS NOT THERE WORDS BUT THE INFORMATION THAT THEY HAVE BEEN TOLD TO GIVE.THANKS TIF KEEPING WORKING ON THAT PERSONAL THING AND PRAY YOUR TURN IS COMING SOON.GOD BLESS.”

“Very Very unprofessional staff (Tiffany) they are very low down and greedy greedy greedy greedy behind money. They only put ppl in there that they want. She called me a week ago and said that everything was good then call me to do and said that I was denied. Keep in my mind I don't have anything on my background or rental history and they kept my deposit said that I lied on my application when asked can I get a copy of my application she said NO.. Never again but she better remember that God isn't sleep and she soon will have to cross this same path one day.. I don't recommend these apartments to anyone unless you have money to blow..”

“I dont recommend them if you like quite areas. Neighbors play Tejano music at all hours. Bunch of -------- sit out by the entrance drinking every day and make the place look so shady. The grounds are kept up and well maintained. Trash area is always disgusting though. Management could be better, they dont communicate with each other in the office. They have lost one of my rent checks and tried to evict me for non-payment, only to have me prove with a copy, that rent was in fact paid. There have been a couple break ins, which is expected and 1 armed assault. Sometimes youll see some police officers carrying a shotgun and an AR doing a patrol, not sure if thats a good or bad thing. Overall, if you want a quite area then dont move here, especially if you are not a minority.”

“BEWARE!!!!! Initial contact with staff members is kind and helpful. However, once you give them your money for deposits and trust me they will demand deposits, they will stop answering their phones. And when they do answer you may be placed on hold for ten or more minutes or forwarded to some unknown voicemail. Their ultimate goal is not to rent apartment units. They work hard at trying to deny your application and with hold all of your deposit. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS ONGOING SCAM. This is not a joke!!!”

“Would not recommend. So much to say bad staff manager and maintenance. Mold on wall wasn't properly taken care of. Apt flooded for bad for not up keeping. Had rats and roaches die to maintenance not kept up inside and out. Laundry room only one of each worked. Lease was up and was charged a little under two grand now have bad credit. Would not recommend to anyone. Bad neighborhood theft noice and drugs. No stars but are required!!”

“Timber Ridge could be the place for you, who know? I just know it's not for everybody. Over all, my stay at Timber Ridge has been ok until the last three years. We've been through many, many different managers. They have not met the requirements of promises they have made over the years to fix or replace things. I've continued to live here because I loathe the hassle of going through the move process. They don't offer a drop box for your rent which to my opinion is VERY UNFAIR. Their hrs of operation ARE fair on the rent collect days, although if the 3rd falls on a Sunday or holiday, you're going to be faced with lates fees on the 4th which is Unfair and the first day is a Whopping $75! But still in all they need to make changes. One of my major complaints is the crime status. It is so much crime you can't let your children play outside without fearing for their safety. I would not recommend anyone to live here until they get rid of all the riff-raff and get a better office staff that shows concerns toward their tenants. The rent is ridiculously high because of the crime level. But the owners are the real problem. They are crooks. Their pet deposit is $400. $200 is non-refundable, plus pet rent. How they gonna steal your money? They lie about everything. They tax you for everything. Batteries for their smoke detector, light bulbs, etc... And then their product is CHEAP! Lights bulbs don't last long at all. They have other issues but I can't write them all. Thank you.”
