“It’s very nice place I’m looking toward becoming a new resident here the young lady’s at the office are verry patient and where able to give me all the information I needed. I can’t wait to call Villa Barcelona my home.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“The inside of the apartment complex I am living in is decent looking however there are many issues. For one, the trash compactor is always full, meaning trash is everywhere because it is always overload and on top of it all between 3am to 5am the trash truck come pick it up waking up everyone very early in the morning. Two, Parking lots are extremely limited because there are so many reserved parking with so little for visitors or regular parking and let me tell you, if you park your car (functional) on a regular parking (which you have the right to) it could get towed because if you do not move your car at least once a week to a different spot it is a red flag for them (this rule is a made up rule because it is not even in the policy you signed up for). Three, the door gates is not monitor so anyone can enter this private place by waiting someone getting in or have one of the door prop (which make the parking lot full of non-authorized visitors). Four, the walls are pretty thin so you will eventually hear everyone's business. So if you live by the playground, there will be children playing ball and kicking it at your front door all the time (it could be scary at times because you might think someone is trying to get in your place). And last, just a heads up for everyone who are trying to live there, the owner (I believe he is from India because of his accent) could be very rude to the residency, I do not know why when he talks to people he has attitude (probably not educated or such) and that is very unprofessional. Overall, I would not recommend anyone to live in Villa Barcelona in Bellerive Drive because at that price you might as well rent a house.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I moved to this apartment community due to a new job in Houston downtown. The commute is much better from here plus Metroride bus options and close to Park and Ride also. The maintenance staff is very prompt to act on the workorders, the front desk is very helpful and quick in response. They work with you in case of your situations and special needs. Very considerate staff. Meme the manager is amazing, things are much better under the new management team. i will definitely recommend to my friends......Prab”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I moved to these apartments about a year ago. It was previously known as Regency Square Apartments before Villa Barcelona. Currently,my bathroom tile is broken in the bathtub, my husband covered it with plastic because he didn't want me to see what's inside. There is mold around the tile, no matter how my husband washes it, it grows back again. Sometime while taking a shower, you can tell they are roaches trying to get in. The ceiling in the bathroom, right in top of the bathtub is broken you can see the electrical wires. Where is the Safety??? I have spoken to the staff, the supervisor, and the manager. Everyday is "we contacted a contractor, he'll be here in the morning". STILL NOTHING! Did I mention I am 7 and a half months pregnant? I'm going there today after my Dr. appointment, and I WILL ESCALATE this issue. Calling their corporate office, the news, hiring a layer... whatever it takes. I'm signing my 60 days notice as well. NO ONE should have to live in these conditions, especially if they do their part and pay their rent on time every month. Here are the pictures.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“If it seems to be to good to be true, it probably is. The best thing about these apartments is the location. The previous management which was Jaymor Management was the worst. As you can see by the images, they have no regard for their tenants. A new management company took over but it's the same owner, and they pretended to want to make changes to the property but that was a farce. They make changes to the lease, and get upset when you call them out on the bulls it. There is daily gunfire, and according to police officers, this place is a major drug hub. It's a shame because their are some decent people that live here. The drug dealers, constant hanging out, nasty and trifling tenants that don't mind living in slum conditions, makes this place unbearable. Someone needs to step in and force the owner to sell the property and stop getting rich off people that he feels in uneducated or not deserving to live in a decent place. May he rot in hell.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“This is so sad Katy and Lora at Regency Square Apartments have no idea how to run these apartments.. Once these people get your deposit everything changes, they can't seem to get anything what so ever done. What is so hard about signing a piece of paper. They tell you they will call you back and you never receive the call, then when you call back they act as if your the problem. Gosh tell me already if we are set to move in, it don't take all this... And the people from the staffing agencie filling in for them they are no better, management need to get it together and fast cause this is down right unprofessional, unorganized, and rude... I have never in my life seen no mess like this.. And when I say this is a M.E.S.S that is what it is. Words can't express what I'm feeling right now.. I want my money back like now... Believe me I am calling in on these people ASAP this does not make any sense whatsoever!!!!!!!! I wish I could give them a - 0 for custome service”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“Worst apartments I have ever lived in my entire life! The rental price for these units shouldn't even be as high as I was paying for a one bedroom since these apartments are so bad. First and foremost, the manager Christina is a ------- fat dirty ----- and she's a conniving liar. She had my car towed for no reason and tried to sympathize with me after the fact. Plus I had my parking permit on my vehicle. The apartments are filled with roaches and gnats and mold all over the windows! The hot water never worked and when it did, it would come out brown. Maintenance takes forever to come fix whatever is wrong with your unit and after they fix it, it breaks all over again. The sinks clog up like crazy! The property is always so filthy and there is always trash everywhere.. The apartments always flood and for some reason, they don't want to fix the 6 foot deep potholes at the entrance of the property. Living here for over a year, I witnessed a "drive by shooting" and saw the dead body just laid out on the floor.. I have never experienced such a thing like that ever in my life. The management does nothing to make their tenants feel safe and secure. Neighbors are constantly loud from sun up to sun down and all they do is smoke and deal dope all day. Being a young woman, I was always scared to leave my apartment after it got dark because so many random sketchy looking men who live through the apartments would always approach me telling me they watch me all the time leave out of my apartment. One time I had a dirty prostitute come up to me while I was in my car asking me where she could get drugs and voodoo and I don't even do drugs nor do I know anybody who does voodoo! (So creepy).. Apparently they just let anyone live here and I'm so glad I finally moved out. These apartments are an actual hell on earth and I wouldn't even recommend for my worst enemy to live here.. They might as well knock these apartments down because all it is a trash heap with a trash --- management! I wish I could give negative 5 stars because these apartments are that bad!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“Roach infestation, mold spores spewing out of ac vents, prostitutes giving BJ's in the parking lot, kick doors robberies, trap houses, and killings, you get it all at Regency Square they should just set some dynamite and blow these ------- up cause there is no sunshine in these apartments only death, anarchy, rapes, murders and destruction so save the women and children and get outta dodge quick cause the life you save just might be your own. FIN.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“his place has gotten worse. The new management doesn't understand the importance of Customer Service and that the tenants are the ones suffering. The New Manager Christina is rude, doesn't listen, jumps to conclusions and lies. Their phone is never answered, and when they do answer your service request are never filled until you called them and threaten them. We have requested for pest control over 5 times and still NO ONE HAS CAME. There are roaches, spiders and gnats in every apartment. Also, there are pipes bursting every week in my apartment, and when maintenance is called it takes 4 days for them to come out. By that time the carpets and my belongings are soaked. They never clean up the water and it started to smell. The office staff is ill informed and try to sympathize but do not actually help. The previous staff was at least a little more helpful and understanding. Also the SHOOTING is weekly here. Gang Violence, Nappy headed kids running around and Drugs...and the new management does nothing but sit around office eating cookies watching the phones ring. PLEASE DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT MOVE HERE. It is not worth your time, money or effort.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“Lived here for 2 years ... This place is a waste of your time and money!! Poor, poor POOR maintenace habits! Maintenance guy comes to apartment to fix a leak, rips a large hole in ceiling, patches hole in pipe and leaves the hole. This maintenance was done in August of 2013, and it is now October 2014 and the hole STILL EXISTS ... even after the property manager said they would have it fixed immediatley. Neighbors are noisey {Loud Rap Music, rude and several use the court yard and dark corners to do their drugs}. There are no screens on the windows, the place floods everytime it rains and you have to wade thru 6 inches of water to get out of your apartment ... not to mention the sewer backs up from time to time, so now your not only are wading thru 6 inches of water, but you have to walk thru human was as well. I personally was broken into Dec 2012, had all four of my tires stolen off my truck in Nov 2013 ... and the management does nothing but make EMPTY promises to have better security. They used to have a worthless Security company doing patrols, but you never saw them and eventually they went away since the complex wasnt paying them. Not a good environment for children at all, unless you want to raise "Thugs". Wife was called a "F'ing -----" by a 4 year old playing outside. The bratty kids play with the power circuit breakers because they are not locked, and they think it is funny to turn off the power to random apartments and then run. The very first check I wrote to the complex for rent, I short the check mistakenly by $5.00 and I was served an eviction notice the next day for FIVE DOLLARS. Pet owners let their dogs run off leashes, let them poop all over the place and dont pick it up. Cat run all over the place because people have "pets" but dont want to pay pet deposit so they leave the cats out side, which produce litter after litter. The community trash dumpster has a tendancy to not get emptied in a timely manor and seriously over flows into the parking lot because 80% of the time the "gated" access doesnt work and the trucks cant get in to pick it up. I could go on and on what is wrong with this place, but I am sure you get the idea as to why you should steer clear of this place!! This place is in bad shape, needs to be remodeled inside and out, and management fired and replaced with new management that cares just as much for their tennants as they do their damn money!!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“Customer service sucks Vicki have a bad attitude both Vicki and Christina lies they tell you one thing and the next time you talk to them it's like they're brain was erased. My apt flooded twice water came all the way to the patio it took a month for my carpet to get fixed they left two big holes in my apt due to bad plumbing witch is still there . Black mold started growing under the cabinets and in the bathroom walls had water damage roaches are very bad please someone need to send the city of Houston to shut them down”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“The worst place to ever live. Please don't waste your time.....”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“These apartments are the absolute worst apartments in the Sharpstown area. The roaches are overwhelming. The light above my dining area filled up with roaches (dead and alive). The water would be off early in the morning during typical "get up and ready for work hours". Kathy De La Cruz the assistant property manager, gave me my employment verification paper and put the figures I needed to qualify for an apartment, and told me to have it signed by someone other than myself and fax it to her so it seemed like it came from my job. Guadalupe was the only sensible leasing agent on the property. Kathy and Patsy treated her like crap. I only lived there about 9 months in that time a man was shot up in the back of the apartments and collapsed in the street in the front; a lady was killed by her child's father in her apartment and put in the trunk of their car; and a large drug bust took place. We had a neighbor who moved in on a Sunday and moved out Tuesday two days later. I asked him why he was leaving and his only reply was "The Roaches!!!!"”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I got raped in the laundry room. The person named Kathy De la Cruz and Patsy with her plastic surgery said I shouldnt be out. If you stay there watch your back.”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“MOLD, ROACHES, RATS! PIMPS, WHORES, DRUG DEALERS, COLD WATER, RUDE MANAGEMENT. i recommend having a large dog to keep people put of your apartment. at night, its alwas soooo much going on outside. cops are here at least three times a week. Management doesnt really care about how they fix stuff that breaks, they just want you to leave them alone. i have live here since i was in middle school, and im finally grown, so im leaving. also, it really depends on what side on the conplex you live on. on the outside(were i live) its kinda quiet some nights....some nights... people always park in your parking spot. and MOLD! its sooooo bad! and Roaches....i feeel like these roaches should be payin grent here too!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I have been here for 3months and the assistant manager is rude and never wants to speak with you, the manager is also never available they say they are always doing reports (so they say)to come back later. The only person they always talk to you is Lupe. What kind of service do this people run, they do anything I mean anything to get you to move in and once you are in they ignore you. I can't wait for my contract to finish. I possible don't move here............”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“Air Conditioner went out since Wednesday.. Today is now Sunday Night.. and Still no air conditioner... Did i mention i have two small kids?!?! IF ANYTHING EVER BRAKES OR GOES WRONG..GOOD LUCK.. THINGS ""NEVER GET FIXED""((SOO MUCH FOR HAVING A MAINTANCE MAN LIVE ON THE PROPERTY) Horrible Customer Service in th Office.. Closets and walls have Bed Bugs and Roaches. Kitchen has mouse holes behind dishwasher.... You can hear your neighbors thru the thin walls..Wanna know whats worse?!? THERES' NO GATES THAT STAY CLOSED TO KEEP THE UNWANTED GUESTS OUT OF HERE.My son had his skateboard stolen from our patio. Hmm.. Cops in and out of here "way too often". When it rains the parking lots get Flooded!!!!! Trash is Everywhere outside. The Trash bin is "Always" over flowing!!!! THE SWIMMING POOL HAS BEEN CLOSED ALL SUMMER. WHY? CAUSE THE OFFICE IS TOO LAZY TO OPEN IT. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY, GO ELSEWHERE!!!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I can not BELIEVE these apartments are listed in forrent.com, or what ever the site is. They don't deserve that credibility. There are continuous break-ins, drug activity, water line breakages ALL OF THE TIME, they don't fix the holes of the breakage, if they do it'll be a month later, the office staff go into units and take valuable items and SELL THEM, the security service suck, the security just walk around talking to tenants and smoking cigarettes with them or just stay in the wash room for a.c, they let ANYBODY in, the entry and exit gates are ALWAYS broken, the manager has her boyfriend and relative taking down the car ports and moving them in a Uhaul instead of hiring a professional. It's flat out ridiculous. Then they expect you to pay high water bills from leaks and bursted pipes. I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone. If I had known better, I would've done better. And ROACHES galore!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“My bf moved in when we split up because it was the only place that would accept him due to his rental history, however, You do get what you pay for. He wishes he had waited and looked a little longer however he was tired of spending his nights in a car. So I have been there only a couple of times to visit and this is what I have seen.... They have gates, but they are always open! They have glass on their grounds that are broken everywhere. Prostitutes hanging out right across the street at gas stations. There is tons of drug dealers, and alcoholics just hanging around, and when you go to smoke a cigarette outside you are asked by every single person if they can get a cigarette. I will say some of the tenants are respectuful enough to say hi and all but other then that not much good, the pool has been closed, supposed to open on the first we shall see. They want 400 if you break a lease there and it is just ridiculous, paper thin walls, someone didn;t put the windows in correctly some don't even have seals, the cock roaches are GROSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! We are very clean people and yet they are in there forcing us to keep all of our food in the fridge, they put him on a list about three weeks ago, still not done. But I guess you get what you pay for......”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I stay at this complex I have been her for a year. I have and 18 month old son that stays with me as well..I Stay in a quiet area..the maitence are very quick at handiling any issues you may have..also so that you maintain and insect free home they also provide weekly extermintion..They also provide 24 hours security guards on duty for the saftey of you and your family.. so I would say Yes to regency Square apartments..my sister now leases here with her 3 kids and my cousin stays here with her children as well..they have a big pool for the children. Regency Square is a great place to call home. When you come into the leasing office they make you feel like family..MS. Cathy is an awesome leasing agent..She helps you in anyway she can...If you refer anyone she gives you 300 dollars off of your rent! She is also understanding of you personal situations which you can talk to her about anything...Our leasing manager dresses awesome and has a great personality so if you are interested in people that understands your special situation and won't treat you like a peice of paper come join the family here an Regency Square:)”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I just moved in last month and at first things werent the way I wanted but it only took one time for me to inform Kathy what was going on along with the manager to get it done. So yes I do love my new apartment home,It came with Full sized washer and dryer at no additional cost! Which is a blessing for me and my children. I first heard about this place thru another resident I have bad credit and an old eviction and was told that that they have a 2nd chance program which was awesome I met Kathy and she only took a few mins to get me approved. I live in a 2*2 my rent is 645.00 that includes WD connection we do have a free covered parking space which is very close to my apartment, We also have security although he does think he's Robo cop but really means no harm but does handle business. There are some bad and good here but on a daily i see things getting more and more better. Im currently a resident and plan on reviewing”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I GOT SICK IMMEDIATELY AFTER MOVING IN HERE!! MOLD IN THE KITCHEN AND BLOWING THRU THE AC UNITS!! BLACK MOLD!! VERY LOUD AND UNCLEAN!! ------!! OFFICE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY LIE!!! GET EVERYTHING THEY SAY IN WRITING!! THERE IS ASSIGNED PARKING BUT THEY WILL ASSIGN YOUR SPOT TO MORE THAN ONE UNIT AND CAUSE CHAOS BETWEEN THE TENANTS. NO PRIVACY, VERY LOUD!! HAD TO CALL POLICE AND SECURITY FOR ROWDINESS OVER 5 TIMES IN A 2 MONTH PERIOD!! PEOPLE WERE SHOOTING AT 10AM ON A SATURDAY MORNING!! MANAGER LIVES RIGHT IN THE CENTER OF THE CHAOS BUT WILL NOT ENFORCE PROPERTY RULES!! MAINTENANCE CAME TO FIX THE CRAPPY PLACE WHILE I WAS AT WORK AND LEFT MY HOUSE WIDE OPEN, AND A HORRENDOUS MESS IN MY BATHROOM AND RUINED MY CARPET!!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“I have not had hot water since i've moved into these apartments in March 2011. Tomorrow will be June and I still don't have any hot water.. the leasing agents as well as the property and regional managers are the worst people i have ever encountered in a life time.. they're rude, they don't know how to be professional if their lives depended on it.. if anyone is thinking about living over here please take your money and RUNNNNNN i promise -there are alot of other apartments to consider..if I was on section 8 and my rent was to be $1 I still wouldnt live in Regency Square!! . the WORST apartments in history!!”
— 7222 Bellerive Dr · Houston“drug activities, roaches, bad management maintenance guys coming into your apartment to take things u name, believe me they dont fix water leaks properly and before u know it u have molds, happened to me.”
