— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Tiffanee did an amazing job with moving me in , no problem at I would recommend her if your looking for an apartment . She communicated with me the whole moving process. This is my very first time doing it alone.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Tiffany is very ------ and unprofessional she does dress well can’t talk well and her chipped tooth is annoying she never knows anything don’t know how to help nobody and uses our property like it’s her home. She is not smart at all no knowledge of anything literally. Just a ------ wanna be professional little girl”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Told them I moved out put in my notice.. But yet they're still trying to charge me for 2 months that I did not live there.I'll let the manager know. ?? live there if you want to at your own peril. These people are so unorganized and never in the office.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Ms. Tiffanee in the leasing office is very nice and helpful , answers all questions politely and does what she can to help the residents. She made the move in process transparent, she was able to work with me.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I'm writing this review because I've lived here for 3yrs and today I noticed the wall in 2nd bathroom has ceiling water damage. I have notified the apartment complex on several occasions regarding the water that was on the floor not seeing it was coming through the walls. The maintenance guy came over and did nothing. I went to the complex on several occasions to report the gnats in the apartment. I put gnats traps around the house to find it's actually a gnats infestation coming from the stagnant water from the water in the walls. I have since had health issues stiming from the issues in this apartment. This is my last time reporting an issue here with all of these issues and my health it has forced me to not renew my lease and will be moving. I don't feel as though the apartment complex gives a damn about their residents. They're only here to collect money from uus.The gate has been broken for months, so I know they don't care about their tenants safety. Shame on Houston. This complex should be investigated.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Hello everyone if you like go back to there review page and read the first post I made. This complex is so discombobulated with no instruction on how to handle payments and post as they are given. My son was in the hospital for 3 to 4 days in the mist of that his apartment was broken in to. From March payment the remaining balance was $7.12. Which was paid on the 1 of April ok before all this I actually went in the office and talk to the lady that has kudos from me. Stay with me now. I discussed everything that happened the day my son went to the hospital and we even talk about the $7.12. Which was ok he could pay it when he get discharge no late fees were brought at all. So My son goes in pay the $7.12. the lady is show sympathy for my son, need I remind The next day late fees arrive but he has already signed up with flex. The day of the money order being brought in the office they never updated the system 2 days has passed from the time they received that money order. The flex company from chat has a conversation about the payment on flex side it's showing late fees. But he paid the money order 2days ago. So he is in the office on 03/03/2024 she talking to him and he is talking to her.She mentioned that she would talk to her manager about the my son say mom they want to know if you would take your review down no I won't not for my son, and definitely not for them. Do not move in these apartments some people just are not trust worthy. I have worked in apartment complex we never did anything there doing. My car was broken into nothing was done. I mean all types of stuff is popping up.And it just does not make sense at all. One thing I know for sure. You reap what you sow. He isn't asking for anything free just for things to be corrected in a prospective way. I do advise you to look elsewhere for a home to live,NORTHBROOK APARTMENTS IS NOT THE ONE TO LIVE IN AT ALL!”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“The apartments are great to live in. The only concern is the parking. I stay here and when I invite others over, there is no visitors parking due to individuals tht stay at the apartment complex with a sticker on their car, park in visitors parking. This is an everyday thing to where visitors have to walk to the other side of the apartments to park because residents refuse to park in residents parking slots. Other apartments don’t allow that and would say something. Instead these apartments get the visitors towed instead of the residents that are parking in a visitors spot. Why do the visitors have to register to park but the residents have a sticker and park in a spot that’s not meant for them. It’s not fair and since these apartments want to tow the visitors they should do the same for residents that’s not parking in their slots”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“If I would have known then what I know now...I would've moved somewhere else. I have appliances from 2002 and everything contains RUST. I went to the manager Maddie and she lied straight to my face about the appliances being new. The neighbors upstairs play ball with their dog inside so you can hear the rumbling across the floor along with their hard walking. You pay for covered parking while all others park underneath with expired vehicle tags from 2019. If you have renters insurance they will still charge you their cost for insurance in your rent so you're paying double insurance. Pets are allowed to use the grass as a toilet and the owners just leave it there due to the poop bag container is empty always. So if you live here you will being to listen to others music, walk/see others people dogs waste in the grass, lights out in the breeze way, no security, rules on paper only and minimum water levels in the washer and toilets. Water pressure is extremely low. If you don't mind paying to be disturbed by others by all means move here.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I am currently still here in the process of renewing my lease. They work with you and everyone is very friendly and helpful I love it here. I have always had what I needed when asked for right away. Thanks Northbrooke.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I have been living here for year everything is good. front office staff always nice and friendly grounds keep clean and any issues with apt is handle quickly. The community is quiet no real issue with loud neighbors just good nice place.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I would recommend living here. It's a very quiet area and maintenance always comes really really fast. The staff cares and it shows. They are very nice and the best management I've experienced in apartments. I'd recommend these to my family and friends.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I love the front office staff here. They do their best to help me and will go the extra mile. The apartments is very spacious and quiet. I have awesome and friendly neighbors. I love the pond area and walking trail.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“The total review on the office staff is on point. Lol. Should be a negative star. Talk about horrible attitudes and the manager parks in the handicap spot everyday. And she has the nerve to tell me and i quote "im just trying to be a great manager. Yet she is breaking the rules every day. But she wants to fine other people for breaking the rules but not herself. Absolutely a joke. She lives on property as she has told me but continues to drive to work and park illegally. Just sounds like a hypocrite.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Please do not waste your time with these apartments. Very unprofessional staff. Maintenance does nothing to fix your work order. My A/C has been freezing over since I moved into the apartment. My daughter's bathtub is falling apart because a huge dip in the middle that now collects water and cause the paint to chip. I've had to use the a local laundromat because my washer leaves my clothes dirty and the dryer takes forever to dry. I have to hand wash dishes because the dishwasher doesn't work and the ROACHES. I CANT EVEN USE MY CABINETS BECAUSE OF THE ROACHES!!!!!!! I had to move out because the office lost my money order and claimed I haven't paid November's rent. They wanted me to pay for November's rent again or they threatened eviction. Bottom line is do not move here. They claim these are luxury apartments but there's nothing luxury about them”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“They change the people that work in the office every other week, so you don't know who to trust. Money hungry! Will get you out of your money regardless if your in the right or wrong! Every morning/day you step outside you smell WEED instead of fresh air! Vehicles get broken into they put flashing lights like sirens up but break ins still occur! Maintenance sucks! Now they tow for the dumbest things that have NOTHING to do with the apartments! Can't wait until my lease is up. SAVE YOUR MONEY & RUN!!!!!!!!”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“This apartment complex is getting one star because I cannot give them zero. While returning home one evening with my children (2 year old daughter and 4 year old son) we were held up at gunpoint by two men. It was a nightmare. My family is still emotionally recovering from that night. My Husband and I put ourselves on month to month rent after that as we searched for a new place to live. As we searched for a safer place to live, we were once again robbed, our window was smashed by the back door and our tv was stolen. I understand that these things can happen, I understand that the apartment complex did not directly rob us but what happened next is 100 percent on them. They are now trying to claim that we owe them THOUSANDS of dollars after we moved away because we did not give them 30 days notice to move. We were not called once before collections were alerted and received no mail. They were fully aware of our situation and what had happened to us. Not only is this place not safe to live but it also completely lacks the smallest shred of basic decency. I'm disgusted.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I've been here for two years and I never have a issue! I always paid my rent on time and never have issues with management until now, 2 years later. Maybe almost a year ago Management has changed and do not get anything fixed! I called at least 6 times, visit the office and sent emails to put in request to fix the entry hall lights outside the apartment mind you that's a dangerous hazard. Imagine someone knocking on your door in the middle of the night since the lights are out you cant see anything!!!! The entry gate is broken and always open every other week! This is getting ridiculous, now I may have to call corporate.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Just wanted to provide some pictures to back up the comments made by other reviewers. Six months ago the introductory move-in rate made this property moderately priced. Sadly, the 20% rent increase has come without out any real results on the promises of change and improvement to the management of the property.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“Where do I begin: the roof leaks, the toilet is ---- (hard water), if your neighbor smokes it comes from the vent into your apartment, the pests are here to stay; there are holes in the kitchen & bathroom walls for roaches to scatter to, the maintenance men speak terrible English & they never leaves notices to inform you they came by (they've hired a whole crew & fired multiple men as well, I could only use 2 burners on the stove, the fridge does not have a ice maker, the built in microwave takes forever to warm up food, it's dusty as hell in here, Tara talks about the residents to people she "can relate to", Dewanda is rude as hell, this complex is on its third manager but the second manager under the new management since I've been here, there weren't any screens in the windows upon moving in so I couldn't get any ventilation for months, the ac froze in the summer time; we've called numerous times and still nothing, I've had to contact Apartment Association twice in order to get anything implemented and lastly, there have been 3 others in my building that have moved out. Not good all.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I currently lived in the apartments and have now for 5 years. The current office staff have done so much to improve the complex in such a short period of time. Before the gate would break and would be broken for long periods of time. Not anymore it's fixed immediately. I know someone who has lived over here before hurricane Ike and the gate code has been the Same way up until about Two months ago. In order to keep out the unwanted guest they have implemented a new security gate system and installed cameras all over. I love this new team it's not just a job to them.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I have been living here for over a year, when we first moved in we were told the gate was temporarily down due to a recent storm, it was MONTHS before the gate was even worked on. Over a year later and there still is problems with the gate staying open or not opening at all. The staff is unhelpful, unprofessional, and no one in the front office seems to know what they are doing. The layout of the apartment is decent, but the details (paint, carpet, wall trim) is sloppy and looked rushed. Since living here the rent has gone up $300+ which I personally feel is more than the complex' worth. Also there is a roach problem. They offer extermination but one morning while the apartment across from mine was getting exterminated I overheard the exterminator state he only sprays the corners of the room not the entire baseboard WHICH EXPLAINS THE BIG PROBLEM. Security wise, we used to have a security officer during the night time but for the last couple months they went away with security officers. There's been multiple occasions where cars have been left on bricks luckily I've not experienced that but, overall the complex is not one I'd recommend to anyone from the outside it seems decent, it's recently remodeled so it looks pretty but it's truly terrible.”
— 17111 HAFER RD · Houston“I applied for a one bedroom apartment, but I was denied. I don't have a problem with that. My problem is as follows: I GAVE THREE MONEY ORDERS. One for $50.00- application fee, $100.00- deposit, $100.00- addendum fee. The new manager by the name of Miram Lopez does not want to refund me my $200.00 dollars. WHO DOES THIS!!!!!!!!!!”
