“This place may have an alright location but jt definitely is not somewhere anyone with an option would want to live. The apt itself smelled when we moved in and they promised to fix that if we signed and moved in the following week, it's been months and we keep trying to get jt done and they just dont care. The parking has more holes than swiss cheese, some are considerably deep. The office does nothing. If you have an issue you are better off playing the lotto than getting any help.”

— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I have lived here for 3 months and have had nothing but bad experiences. Every time I pay my rent it seems as though something goes wrong. If it's not the air going out, it the hot water not working. I don't recommend anyone wasting their money moving here. I'm at the point of wanting to break my lease and move, it's just that bad”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I have been here a the Redford Apartments now for a few months. And while it's nice and quiet over here and the the apartments are nice, I have ordered two two packages, one small and the other one large; too big to fit in the mailbox. They were stolen and management got surveillance on the premises and security. But can't tell me what happened to my packages. This makes me very uncomfortable because when I first applied for an apartment over here management told me all this good stuff about these apartments but never told me that people or residents over here steals other people's stuff and they don't do anything about it. Where were security or the surveillance cameras at when my packages were stolen?”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I hate staying over here !! The management sucks , no help at all , wont even answer the phone if you need them !! Literally have to take off of work just to go in the office and get any answers which is very much ridiculous!! I can't wait to move and spend my money where Im appreciated and heard!!”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“If you move here, you and your family will be awfully sorry. Thank me later. I've still have to live here.. Lesson learned. Trashy . Majority --------. They take care of their own. Don't trust or believe anything the leasing agent tells you. If you're not one of them, you're out of luck.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I have not had any problems with the neighbors, everything is very quiet in our area, but we do have a bug problem in our home. Also, we keep having the same problem in our apartment, and every time maintenance fixes it the problems occurs again.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Hate it here apartments were in terrible condition on move it day and they don't fix anything they wrongly tow your vehicle won't credit your rent the grounds look like a trash can or dumpster no land scaping no one does there job hardly in the leasing office and the water is high if it's off your usage hate it here and can't wait to move”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“ABSOLUTELY NASTY SAVE YOURSELF THEY DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW THEY WILL KICK YOUR DOOR IN IF YOU DONT ANSWER. I was not home and they had security kick in my bedroom door ROACHES ARE OUT OF CONTROL AND BIG DOG POOP EVERYWHERE YOU WALK The office never available & never answer the phone. Security is AWFUL AND UNLAWFUL THEY ARE BULLIES . The pools are nasty they have so many city violations. Every other apartment is boarded up. Homeless people and crack heads everywhere. It’s a pedophile who lives in the apartments !!!”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I've read a lot of bad things about this apartment complex I personally never experienced any. The only thing is if you have a problem or want something done to your apartment you have to constantly tell the office workers until it gets done. They have implemented a lot of online apps for everything. The apps don't work and they don't take responsibility for the fact that they don't have nothing as a backup. If you are a person just looking for rental history as I am this maybe a good starting place. If you are a person with a large family and friends this is not the place for you. I don't know how any places can tell you how many guests you can have a day but here you can only have one. There's no way around it. Last but not least there are a lot of fees you will pay for services you will never receive even if you requested them (i.e. pest control)”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I was reluctant at first to move into this community because of all the suspicious activities that were obvious but after seeing the security expertise exicuted in removing any suspicious activities or disruptions I felt that moving here wasn't a bad idea. I'm now a pleased resident at the Redford Apartments.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“A great and inexpensive place to live and a safe environment. Awesome and friendly quiet community............................................... ......................................................”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“This is the worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. Maintenance techs ever to come when they fix something that do it half assed and the place is dirty all the time!! Not a safe place!!!!!!!!!!!”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“It's terrible and the 1st month isnt even over. We applied for a 2 bed 2 bath and we're told after our move in date was pushed back by 2 days that we applied for a 2 bed 1.5 bath. Knowing damn well that wasn't what the ---- we spoke about plenty of times. Most of the units are vacant and look bad. Our unit wasn't clean when I e moved in. We still don't even have mailbox keys. They don't communicate with each other, they're rude and they act any mistakes they made are normal. Like it doesn't matter.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I've been here since February & So far so good friendly staff always willing to assist in a timely manner. Neighbors are okay as well depending on which section you're in.I do believe security could do better my car was broken into & stolen as well as some other vehicles being broken into”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Ok my experience here have been horrible first off the employees that work in the office need to learn how to communicate with residents and stop talking to them crazy two my apartment is so unlevel..”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I moved in in January and immediately started having problems. The refrigerator didn't work and had to be replaced which took almost a week. Then the oven wouldn't turn off because of a faulty knob. Management changed in 3 months and lost all records of my lease. Still without access to the online portal to pay my rent and report maintenance issues. Most of the staff are no courteous and try to get rid of me without really trying to help solve my problems. The new Manager is very nice and really does care and makes a huge difference.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“I'm not to happy someone moved out next door and it's a horrible smell coming from next-door. No one in the office has done anything in the past three months management in the office is unprofessional and real horrible gonna have to move. Can't bear to smell any longer.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Horrible, it's the extra monthly fees. I pay every month $3 for pest control and they don't spray every month, $15 for trash and there's no boor pick up, $11.95 for a mitigation risk fee, why and what for. Now they have it where you can only pay rent online and now I have to pay $4.95 to that, when my rent is only $545.00 a month. Every month we go at least two weekends with no hot water. They finally properly fixed my AC unit after breaking down 4 times within the 7 months of me living here. They have Security but they treat everyone like a suspect and will either follow you to your front door or stop you to harass you not knowing if you live on property or not. They use a lot of third party resources with leaves the tenants paying all of those fees that they charge. I have never lived in a place that charge fees like that, most places include that into the rent not tax on fees. If I have to pay for those things I would rather go to a nicer place that is worth the money we're paying for.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Office staff are kind but unhelpful. There is a lack of communication and work tasks are never completed. I highly recommend you staying away from these units, they are probably one of the cheapest apartments in Houston but completely worthless. They are rat, roach and they're infested. Do not get fooled as I did by the office staff, they will not help you after you move in. I've had a leaking roof since January, my upstairs neighbors water when they shower drained into my bathtub and I didn't have AC for 4 months, I had to fix myself because they never did anything about it.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“At first when I moved in it was a little rough. Now its better! Not saying that because I work here, but it truly has gotten better since Indio took over! I cannot wait to see all the changes for the community and be ab;e to be apart of making this community great! The narrative is changing so much and I wanna thank Therese and Jennifer for ensuring these things are happening!”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Boarded up apartments mailbox missing doors pool kids play area trashed balance owed never accurate false charges . Move in ready apartments not suitable for move in.Maintenance do not come out at all or it take months regardless if it's an emergency.”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Honestly moved on the Redfords last year and to tell the truth the Redfords gave me a second chance..The people who work in the office always be professional with me and they do work with so can continue to have my stability I am thankful for the Redfords. They do their best with security and when ever I needed things fixed the have came right away when I put my work order in they even allowed me to check my mailbox when I lost my key and didn't hassle me about paying for another mailbox key.I think they do their best and I'm a happy tenant..”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“Most difficult experience of my life. Killings n shootings within days of each other. Hot water has been off for 2 weeks and this is my last month to pay rent and won’t even take nothing off my rent when I can’t even live at my own apartment. Roaches n bad response times for cops to show up. Never live here”
— 1221 REDFORD ST · Houston“They HAVE 3 pools but didn't open a single one of them this year. Office staff is rude. The playground is not a place for kids as there are crackheads and sketchy people all over the place, day and night. Loud music, people standing outside talking loud, trash all around, 50 grocery buggies on the premises at any given time. Have had to call police 3 times and one of those calls was after my car was stolen from the parking lot! I e also had things stolen right off my porch in broad daylight. The laundry rooms are disgusting and stinky. It's not impossible to live here but it sure does suck.”
