“It’s true. They paint over mold walls. They just paint over everything, tubs, crown molding, doors. Pest control is an issue because of the filthy tenants. One out of 10 tenants pick up after their pets. Cameras never catch break-ins. Would not walk out the gates after dark. Sketch neighborhood. Management is nice, however, does nothing to fix the issues. Just care about you signing the lease. Thin walls, can hear neighbors tv, showering, walking, stomping. ------. If you have respiratory issues don’t move here. Air ducts are filthy. Water is disgusting—-leaves brown scum in tub/sink/toilet/dishwasher.”

“Where do I start? The mold? The car break ins? The roaches? The horrible management/ communication? The negligent maintenance? The getting charged a whole months rent AFTER my lease ended? This place is complete TRASH. All they care about is taking your money. They couldn’t care less about the safety of residents. Any and every problem brought to their attention, they disregarded. DO NOT MOVE HERE unless you want constant bugs, mold, to waste your money, or to hurt your mental health. 100% one of the worst years of my life. If I could give a negative rating I would.”

“Roaches, no maintenance, trash everywhere, rude staff, and the worst place to live! I have been trying to get maintenance to fix the items that were broken from when I moved in three weeks ago and I have not heard from anyone! The gates were stuck over the weekend and no one could get out the complex until a car drove in. If you call the office they argue with you and will not fix anything. Residents are breaking their leases and filing lawsuits, this place will be on the news!!!”

“Auden blocked me on social media because they are afraid that people will know the real truth about living here and the lies. The apartments are cheaply made. They don’t clean them they just paint over the dirty walls. The maintenance men don’t take work orders seriously and the people in the office are up to no good. They literally lie to your face. Driving through the complex is like driving through an obstacle course. There is so much trash in the middle of the road. I had to swerve as to avoid getting into a wreck. The maintenance men just walk around it to avoid it. Oh and by the way I saw one of the maintenance men literally light up a blunt. He took two maybe three puffs and then put it out and proceeded to work throughout the day going in and out of units. His eyes were red and it was obvious that he was high. Auden will hire anybody to come into your unit. It ain’t safe.”

“I’ve had issues nonstop since new management has been here at Auden. Let’s just say don’t believe everything someone tell you. There’s constant roaches and bugs everywhere no matter how many times pest control comes. It sometimes smells like sewage threw my events and even outside it can be worse. The gates always broken. I literally had to cuss them out in order to get maintenance to fix things that just kept falling apart. I can’t wait to move out this month . It’s so bad they barely got any lease renewals. And let me just say this if you’re looking for someone who is understanding from time to time Gladis the property manager will not . She does not care all she cares about is getting people in and signing leases.”

“On Friday, May 21 around The times of 3o’clock pm and five I was visiting my friend at The Houston Auden student living apartment 6304. By 5 o’clock pm I returned to my car with the Driver side window broken into my belongings were taken and inconvenienced to me during the stormy weather. Thinking I could get some help I went to the front office where I spoke to a man by the name of Tre where he says there were cameras facing the visitors parking. When he went to go check the cameras he then stated that only his manager had access to the cameras facing the visitors parking which would be on building seven and eight. He told me that the incident is unusual for it to have happened in broad daylight however it is popular for car break-ins to happen but at night. He went on to tell me that his manager would look at the video footage from home and get back to me. I truly believe that the cameras that are facing the visitors parking do not work and to cover themselves they say they did not see anything, my car was parked directly in view of the cameras so it is next to impossible for you to have not seen what happened to my vehicle.There are signs around the apartment complex also false advertising on the website about safe living conditions. The next day as I was leaving someone else’s car was broken into and they were also parked in visitors parking, Also my friends Cadillac converter was stolen from her car and as I warned two girls about parking in the visitors they went on to say that there’s had already been broken into two months prior. I am almost positive that this will continue to happen if surveillance isn’t implicated and the security is nonexistent. I was told that there was around the clock security and that just isn’t so. I’m not sure how I’ll be able to resolve this any further but I wanted it to be clear that this is one of the most unsatisfactory apartment livings when it comes to safety and security. “DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!! Use this as a warning. I've been an amazing tenant but this complex. There is dog poop all over. The appts are trashed. There is always an issue. I'm always told one thing and then told another. Not safe. The first month living here my wallet was stolen out of my car. Nothing was done about it. There's a bug issue. Way too expensive for the trash you're getting”

“PLEASE DO NOT MOVE INTO SAVOY APPARTMENTS !!!!!!!!! #College students DNT MOVE HERE This is just a fair warning theses apartments are very unorganized and very Unprofessional ppl come to these apartments just to break in to cars my car was broken into twice and the office just acts nonchalant about it as if it happens all the time ..... there is gang and violence with in the gates of the complex the inside of the apartments don't match the price !!!! There is always trash everywhere on the outside EVERYWHERE!!!!! The maintenance is very old and outdated the residence whom live there are very hood and dirty !!!!! I've been here for 6 months already I moved to Houston to attend TSU soo I thought these apartments would be ok to live in since its right up the street from my school but it has been HELL living here I Dnt do reviews usually but when I do it's because it's actually that bad ..... the surrounding area of the apartment is TRASH if you are a good decent person I definitely would NOT recommend the savoy Appartments!!!!!!!!!”

“My experience at savoy has been a disaster. I moved here because I needed a place quick to live at I thought it was nice but maintenance never comes and that management is terrible I was scammed I feel like into renewing my lease here. Roaches are every where like literally everywhere and other little nasty bugs. It's like living in the projects. My tub has mold that won't go away it's terrible.”

“Looking to move soon. Too much criminal activity. The other tenants smoke marijuana and it gets in my unit through the vents. I keep calling about noise between 11pm-8am but it continues. The pool was out of order most of 2018 summer. I love my apartment, but some of the other tenants make living here unbearable.”

“Overall it has been decent I really wish some prices would go down because some of the prices are ridiculous just to live in a decent apartment but hey I guess everyone needs to make a living. Other than that everything is good my favorite part is my washer and dryer.”

“Management can hear you question only if they suitable for them. If no they just make face that nothing happened. When i moved in they said it will be with furniture but there were no. There were some plus it is apartment clean and niice but management is bad”

“The property is over all good for fist time student living. It??™s a good learning experience for your first apartment . You kinda learn how things work and the in and out of things. It??™s close to the near by schools so I mean it??™s not bad.”

“The staff is very friendly. Apartments are kept well. The only problem I have is that my tub is peeling, it seems to have been painted many times. I??™m not sure if I??™d renew my lease here. If I do it would be a single 1 bedroom apartment. Right now I??™m in a 2 bedroom and my roommate likes to play her music loud while I??™m studying.”

“While the office staff is amazing as well as the location, it no longer is worth the issues I??™ve had with the property itself. I??™ve had issues with the smoke detectors, spent nearly $600 on bug infestations because even after telling maintenance about it multiple times nothing was done about it, bottom pieces of the cabinetry fall off, and the filter in my AC unit has been expired for 10 months and hasn??™t been replaced when I??™ve asked the 3 times I??™ve asked.”

“The staff are nice and friendly. They make sure that your package is ready for pickup as soon as it comes into their office. There is the gym which is for free and also there is the pool that is right next to the office. I feel like they are lifeguards even though there is not one physically by the pool but you are right next to the office.”

“Very unpleasant experience, the staff is never there. The maintenance people never come. Spiders everywhere! The worker did not inform me that the apartments would not have furniture in them. These apartments are very pricey for no reason. No reasonable parking, so I end up parking far from my apartment. There is always one staff member present which is Trey and he's the one who answers the phones and is present in the officer all the time. The head manager is never there, I came looking for him three days in a row, and he never showed up. I feel like I am not getting my moneys worth staying here and if I would have known about the problems I would be facing living here, I never would have signed the lease. I will not ever live here again.”

“Its been the worse experience of my life. Never had so many big a and things break in an apartment before. And it's still not fixed don't live here I have roaches and other weird Bugs they don't pick and management attitude sucks.”

“For the price these apartments aren??™t worth it one bit, will be moving as soon as my lease is up. For $775 a month for a student at least the cable and WiFi or at least WiFi should be provided it??™s an absolute rip off”

“So far I am not happy because the apartment needs to fixed up. The blinds are broken, shower knobs don??™t work, and vent is not put up. I also think that the office and maintenance needs to have a conversation on what is actually happening and when should there be deadlines to get things fixed.”

“My experience has good so far. The day I moved in there was a lot of maintance that was supposed to be fixed before I moved in but I was compinstated for the problem it caused. Maintenance is taking longer than expected due to everyone moving in at the same time, but so far I enjoy it. I??™ve used to gym it??™s small but it gets the job done. The staff members are very nice and welling to help with anything they can.”

“it is well kept, apartment was a little dirty on move in. everything else is very well kept and organized. staff is friendly and neighbors are nice as well. i don??™t really have much complaints. i??™m just trying to reach two hundred characters now”

“My experience was okay I was hit with a lot of new things that I did not know had to be done before moving in. I have a little trouble getting the maintenance to come work on anything I request. I also have a problem with upstairs neighbors walking pretty hard on their floors making it really loud on my ceiling. But so far living in Savoy everything has been great I have no complaints what so ever.”

“My experience with this apartment has been OK not the best but it??™s been OK on move-in day it was just a lot of hassle and because my mom lives 3 1/2 hours away I had to do the process by myself and then whenever I finally got into my apartment there were a lot of things that needed to be done still to this day those things have not been done my ceiling fan does not work the ice machine in the icebox does not work the patio is filled with spiderwebs and dirt it??™s just not livable .... etc..”
