“Both the office Staff and maintenance staff are amazing . I feel as though I'm able to come to anyone with a concern and they will make sure it is handled . I have loved living here and will continue to because I love the Ms Debbie, Ms. Brenda, and Ms. Heidi !”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“With our nine years of stay in this apartment complex with my family, we can say that it's not really perfect but we can tell that it was so wonderful for all of us. The staff are so nice and approachable. Debbie, the lady with a Miss Friendship award, Brenda, the ever ready to address our concerns, Heidi, the Manager whom she can be depended upon in times we need help with our entire stay there, and the Maintenance guys most especially Victor that even though I only met him in the pathway, reminding him of our need for maintenance, he was always giving time specifically if it's emergency. Cypress Creek Crossing Apartments is already a part of our lives. We will never forget our happy days in this place. It was so amazing! To all of the members of the awesome staff ... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING! We will never forget all of you! We will go there for a visit one of these days guys. WE LOVE YOU ALL!”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“I've stayed at this property for a while now .....never had an issue here.Thw office staff is very nice and understanding really great people. They have been a blessing to me and my daughter. If I have a maintenance issue it's fixed if not the same day the next.I love my apartment!”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“They will play stupid about money you paid already. Never any parking! The property manager ----- plays dumb and lie before she gets her mouth open. ------ is rude and fake. ------ is the only sweet one and take her time finding out things she do not know instead of lying. I love ------. They do not keep up with paper work. They still owe me my deposit but screw it, I'm still going to be blessed. I do not recommend moving into these apartments. There are roaches. First year rent is OK but the renewal rates for rent or stupid high for no reason. Did one year over there and I left with quickness. My AC went out 3 times back to back. I had to sleep in the heat during the summer because the maintenance man (that stay in the same apartments) didn't want to come fix it. Don't waste your money.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“I have lived in these apartments for almost a year. I once loved them but now I can't even stand living here! This place is so ------ now its not even safe to throw out your garbage. My neighbor was trying to throw away his trash and was held at gunpoint until someone yelled they were calling the cops! The parking is horrible and for God's sake don't let it rain here. The parking space will turn into a lake because the drainage pipes are clogged and the water is literally halfway to your knees. Your can't have visitors unless they park in the visitor space which there is only about 10 of those spaces for the whole complex other wise they'll get their car towed. They say they have a 10 o'clock curfew but that's no where to be found. People are outside all night and they play music so loud you can hear it through the walls. The roaches were horrible when i first moved in but the management did take care of that. Honestly the only good thing about this place is the management and maintenance otherwise when November comes I'm moving out!!!”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“Management is friendly and helpful but this is an old complex so everything breaks and breaks and breaks. Leaking pipes, dishwasher will not drain, dripping faucets and roaches are just a few of the problems. When you call for maintenance they are prompt but you have to call almost weekly. The walls are so thin that I can hear my neighbors when they sneeze. Parking is a horrible. More cars than parking spaces. Two armed robberies in the last month even through we have "security". The place could use a paint job. More tenants than the lease allows in an apartment. High water bills, I pay more for water for my 2 bedroom apartment than my sister does for her 3 bedroom home. The playground is just some metal poles in the ground, no place really for a child to play. The rent is cheap but you get what you pay for.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“From the very first phone call the staff at Cypress Creek Crossing were very rude to us. Everytime I talked to them they treated me with such disrespect and rudeness. I couldn't even talk to them I dreaded even speaking to them. After reading other reviews I don't know how these people still have a job. On top of the problems with the staff We were also having other issues with the roommates my son was suppose to room with. They left my son without a room after my son did all the work to get the apartment and he was the one that got the roomates together so they can all attend Universal Technical Institute. We were very frustrated and angry. They were suppose to get a three bedroom but one of the guys had a broken lease and the only apt complex who were willing to bend the rules and do something illegal was Cypress Creek Crossing (should have known they are crooked people) Cypress creek crossing put the guy with the broken lease mother on the lease instead of him so he could live here. So they got a two bedroom w/loft and the guy with the broken lease was to get the loft, which they agreed upon. When my son showed up there they took his room. So here we are with a truck load ready to move in and no where to move in to. We had to rent a hotel to stay there and we werent prepared to stay. We didn't bring a change of clothes or anything. I spent about $800 on this whole ordeal that money went to waste. On hotel, the Uhaul, the application fee, deposit, gas for the uhaual and my car, then the cost to have to return with the uhaul to San Antonio because they took my son's room. So you can imagine how frustratd we were. After this whole ordeal went down and the constant rudeness from the staff I didn't want my son to stay in this apt complex anymore and decided to return to San Antonio so i went in to ask for the deposit back and they refused to give us the deposit back. Out of all my frustrations I broke down crying in front of the Cypress Creek Crossing Staff (Antwonnete Garcia and Danielle Estrada) and they laughed at me and said "oh poor baby" I couldn't believe the experience I had with these people. I want them fired so that no one will ever have to go through what I went through again. Be careful UTI students about the roomate situation you get yourself into, don't trust anyone. Don't move into these apartments either...I had a very bad vibe from this apt complex from the very beginning. They have left me severly traumatized. I wouldn't recommend this apt complex to ----- himself!!!!!”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“ok the number one complaint is parking there is not nearly enough and if you don't get a sticker they will tow you. or if you back into a spot they will tow you. close second is the management they are very rude and won't work with you on anything. also they've got bugs not too bad because they're small but still kinda gross. anyway overall I've had better apartments and you might want to keep looking.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“omg my husband found these apt. They look so much better on the internet btw. Well wen we got here I noticed that the sign out front isn't even the same as the 1 they were advertising on the web. wthen apt. Are very small, ROACH infested. & the office wokers are rude the only helpful 1 is Debbie. They try to charge you late fees for ANYTHING! Dnt waste ur breath. There arw stray cats everywhere, The trash is ALWAYS OVERFLOWING. The entry gates are always broke.& they change new security guards Every other week. They also have really bad Termites & wen you complain they have some1 come out & spray for Roaches. Wth is that gonna do for Termites.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“pool is never cleaned, maintenece never shows, roach infested, office workers are rude, they give notices the day of or the day before, we told them about the mold in the laundry room and they ignored us, the only person who makes sure stuff gets done is debby”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“Ok honestly I even broke my lease with these people because they took like 4 months to fix my a/c. Thats right no a/c for 4 months, and on top of that roaches and roaches you cant get rid of. There is NO parking unless its like 5 or 6 am when you get home and everyone else is leaving. They found a dead body in the dumpster behind the apartment complex. And they send out flyers letting tenants know that there has been shootings and who to look for. Im sorry but I dont think so.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“the place is affordable! i lived there for two years in two different apartments. the first apartment was roach infested, but the second i only saw about two or three for the whole second year. i never had anything broken into or stolen. but my motorcycle was vandalized. and my buddy got his car stolen. and i heard of several occasions where people got there apartment broke into. Now it's an older apartment complex so the plumbings bad in places. but overall the apartment isn't horrible. and the crime is due to the fact that it's Houston. the city sucks plain and simple.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“I have lived here going on four years and I could honestly say that this place isn't that bad at all! Of course, the apartment isn't brand new and it does have its' flaws but all apartment do. You have to consider that these apartments has had many people that had lived in it and there are reasonable things that can go wrong, but to me that is expected. Even if you had a house you would see things go wrong over a period of time. I don't understand how picky people can be knowing that they will be living in an apartment! The price they charge is very reasonable for the square footage that the apt. offers. It's quiet most of the time and yes there would be people who would be loud every now and then but it is very minimal and if you let the office know they do address it. ALL apartments have those kind of annoying people! I have never had any complain when it comes with the management. I see they take pride on taking care of the place as well as their renters. I see it as if you do your part they they will do theirs. There was never a time that I had brought something to them that they didn't take care of it in a timely manner. It seems lately that they have been improving with safety also! Though the gate might be broken many times they manage to hire a security that patrols the area and checks on the cars coming in the complex! They do what they have to do if there is anything that goes wrong with the place. The only thing I could have a problem with is the parking but that also seemed to be improving ever since they had enforced a new rule! I never thought it would worked but suprisingly it actually did! At the end, for the price the place is very affordable. Trash is never overflowing. The maintenance is very, very good! (take to consideration that there are only a few on them and over a hundred units so you may have to wait but they do their work right!) The area is perfect cuz its close to EVERYTHING! Really good elementary school if you have younger kids! Staff is very friendly and they do take care of you!!! One advice I have is that people should have consideration to what the apartment has to offer! It's not perfect but it's not so bad either. There are good things and also things that can happen that isn't so good, but in my opinion from living here almost everything is fixable and they do take time to make benefecial improvements for the renters! They really do! It may take time, but hey it's free! Just imagine if you actually have to pay for you own repairs or improvements...----- about that! I would recommend this place. Just keep in mind that since you are just renting be considerate! Nothing is perfect especially in an apartment!”
“My boyfriend and I moved here last summer, read through these reviews and thought, what the hell... we'll try it out anyway. The first week we arrived our car was egged a few times. Every other week since, our AC stops working and it takes days for maintenance to actually come fix it. After it's fixed a week later it stops again and we have to wait again for it to be taken care of yet AGAIN. Well just last week management left a tow note on one of our cars saying they are going to take it. My boyfriend calls the office talks to a lady and was told that the note was put there cause it's hardly ever used. So she told him it would be ok as long as he was re parking the car each night in a different parking spot. SO DUMB. So yesterday, we receive another tow notice on it saying we need to call the office. The manager gets on the phone with my boyfriend and starts yelling at him saying she has tolerated our car for several months now and if it's not drivin every day it'll be towed. There is nothing wrong with this car... it's licensed, registered, insured... and drivin when needed. She proceeds to try and tell us it's not legal (as if she would know) and if some girl is raped and assualted because of our car being parked (where we pay rent...) it's our fault. No way is it our fault that this crappy apartment complex can't supply enough parking spaces for all of the paying residents. Every day it's a hassle to find a parking spot in the entire complex. I would never recommend anyone here especially with such poor/RUDE customer service from the management. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up! Thanks...”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“I've lived here since 2005 and have experienced almost none of the problems mentioned here. I had a problem with roaches for a month or two, but they offer FREE spraying and treatment. If you had roaches then it's your own fault. I've been through some hard times at this place and they have always been willing to work with me, just as I have always been willing to work with them. It's true some of the plumbing has problems, but once again they fix it for FREE. Free meaning no extra charge to what you pay in rent. Go to some nicer places and that will not be true. If I can say that this place has on big problem it would be the parking, but then again if there were not people with 2-3 cars parked there then that probably wouldn't be true. Once again I want to bring up the free thing. I've been in other complexes that charge you if you have more than one car to a person. Not true here. I want to say that it is likely that all these people who are pissed off about stuff are more than likely the same people that think when they go to a restaurant their server is supposed to do anything to make them happy. When in all reality all they have to do is politely get you your food and drink. The world is not a bicycle built for only you, and the people that run this place have lives outside of serving you. If you had to take care of 150 different family's homes I bet your prospective would change. Well I guess that is all for now.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“The pricing and square footage of this place won me over! Any complaints I had about neighbors or loud music was handled the way it should have been. My vehicle was never vandilized and I drove a Mustang, on rims, with a sound system and no tent windows. My apartment was never broke-in and I lived alone, was away from home from 5AM until 11PM 5 days a week, without any pets, and I was never broke in on. If you can ignore the fact that the landscaping isn't the best, maintenance repairs come slowly and kitchen/bathroom upgrades are none existent. Besides that, I had no problem at all. I would move there again if I didn't have a home.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“i have been living since 2002 n i cant wait to get out of here there is guys that come n break into the cars take tires n break the windows there is roaches bad plumbing n the maintence bad the manager is a ----- dont come look for something else”

RUN AWAY. RUN AWAY NOW and run fast too!!!”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“The apartment complex is over 25 years old + in bad plumbing condition.Every 3 months or so the sewage lines back up in 60% of the buildings causing raw sewage to spill up into the floors + bathtubs of the downstairs apartments.Sometimes it takes 12 hours for them to get a plumber to fix it all the while your carpet is getting flooded with sewage water. The parking lot also floods due to the managment refusing to clean out the storm sewars.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“I ONLY LIVED HERE FO ABOUT A MONTH. I MOVED OUT OF MY HOUSE AND THIS WAS MY FIRST APARTMENT, I LIKED IT BECAUSE IT WAS VERY AFFORDABLE AND THE APT. WAS PERFECT SIZE FOR THE AMOUNT OF STUFF I HAD. ABOUT 2 WEEKS AFTER I LIVED THERE A LADY WHO PARKED IN THE SAME AREA I DID WAS HELD UP AT GUNPOINT FOR HER PURSE WHILE PUTTING HER INFANT IN THE CAR. TWO NIGHTS LATER I WAS COMING HOME FROM WORK WHEN 2 MEN HELD ME UP AS WELL. THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE ABOUT THE APT. IS THE SAFETY. THE MANAGEMENT WAS WONDERFUL AND LET ME LEAVE WITH NO PROBLEM.”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“Lost my move out notice. Charged me over $800. Moved because I realized how bad the neighborhood was. Keyed cars. Nobody appeared to work.

Here´s a tip: the more square feet you get for the dollar, the crappier the neighborhood. You get what you pay for.

Oh, and the apt had NO window light to speak of. Two or three small windows. Couldn´t keep any plants alive. Looked out the window basically into the neighbors window. Good for peep shows. Bad for living.
”
— 14355 CORNERSTONE VILLAGE DR · Houston“After moving out of my parentsý house, I lived in the smallest one-bedroom model at Cypress Creek Crossing in 1999 for one year. With this being my first apartment, I was swayed toward this complex because of the full-size washer & dryer that was included. I felt that for the price, the apartment itself was very nice. There was very little storage space in the unit, but other than that, I was pleased with the condition of my apartment. However, maintenance was slow to respond to my requests, and the following is what made me decide NOT to renew my lease: After pulling an entire load of clothes out of the washer one night after work only to find that a bleach-like substance had ruined each and every piece of clothing I had washed (and I NEVER used bleach on my own in the machine), I called the office the next morning to let them know what happened and to request service on my washing machine. I even told them I would leave sample pieces of clothing in the wash-room area so that the maintenance person would be able to see what I was talking about. Three days later, I had not heard back from anyone, nor had any type of "Service Receipt" been left in my dwelling. I called the office, and was told bluntly that "It was fixed." When I asked what the problem had been (of course being afraid to wash any more clothing for fear that they too would be ruined), they said they would ask the maintenance person, who happened to be right there in the office. I could hear the phone being put down on the desk and heard them ask maintenance what type of repair had been done - but no response was given. They then got back on the phone and said, "It was fixed." I could never get any further explanation.

Earlier this year, a co-worker of mine asked for a referral to an apartment complex in the area and I referred him to this complex, telling him about my experiences. He decided to lease a unit there and found that the management was horrible. He moved in to find that he had no bathroom fixtures and had several other problems, none of which were responded to after waiting over a week. Management told him the problems were fixed, and he was forced to terminate his lease due EVEN AFTER NEVER MOVING COMPELETELY IN due to the wretched lack of service.

Maybe management has changed since I lived there....my experience was by no means bad, but after hearing my co-worker tell me what happened this year (2003), I cannot recommend this complex to others.”

Cannot expect the same from the others.

Once it took about 9 remainders and about a month for them to fix up the shower knob.
