“They are racist and only look out for their own people. I do not recommend anyone to spend money to live here because they do not fix things in a timely manner, they are infested with mice and roaches. They never send the exterminator to my place. Last time one came he said he thought I was Mexican and never came back. The ladies in the front office are rude and disrespectful. They never answer the telephone and when they do they have a bad attitude. The packages sent were stolen from the front office and no one knows anything about it. Only response I received is that they are not responsible for personal property. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU WILL REGRET IT AND BE MOVING LIKE ME!”

“In a a little over a year that I've lived here it has gone from good to horrible. The new management is worst than it was when I moved in. Everything from vandalism, cars being stolen, clothes taken from laundry facility and more. No security...anf if they actually have it is to make sure "their property is not damaged " yet it takes months to have them take care of maintenance requests. I've gone to the office at least 5 times in the past month and still have incomplete work in my apt. Can't wait to be able to get out of here!!!”

“When I first moved in it was good then the next day someone broke my window then it toke two days to come and fix it! I had to put in a few work orders cause there was roaches there was a floor pieces coming up just to much things that needed fixing! Then the tub was always clogged up even when we wouldn't take a bath everyday if it wasn't one thing it was another! But I after awhile I just gave up putting work orders in and started to fix things myself and now they raised my rent so thats it all this to deal with then they only have one pool here and its just about always closed forwhat ever the reason is for who ever is in charge for the pool that week! But the only thing I like about here is my neighbors that lives next to me are the best! But other then that I really don't think anyone should move here with kids cause there is not any good playgrounds here there isn't any here that are not broken! Plus every time it rains it floods!”

“I currenly live here and i have always had a problem with parking. They don't have enough parking spots available. there has been times where ive had to go stay somewhere else because of the damn parking and i know im not the only one with this problem because ive heard other neighbors arguing and thinking out loud because everyone gets so pissed off not being able to stay at the apartment your paying rent for because of that.. The managers dont do nothing about it either, i already put a complaint and all they said was there was going to b a tow truck coming by @ midnight and i have not seen that happen once.!”

“I moved in this apts like about 3 months ago and so far so good the maintenance is great so are the office staff very friendly the only thing is that they need a little more light outside the buildings. I don't understand why ppl write very bad reviews is maybe cause they don't pay their rent & management quick them out however is their own fault don't move some where you cant afford jst saying. Anyways I like it here and hope to finish y contract in good terms.”

“I moved here a month ago. This place is not made for a family. The play ground only has monkey bars. Pool has been dirty since I been here. My apartment was clean when I moved in. But there were rat pelts in the kitchen cabinets. My air conditioning has not been working since I moved here. The emergency line doesnt respond when you call. I called the office to remind them that my a/c was still broke. They told me they put in my work order. I still havent seen any one yet. Now today I found a rat in my tub. There are roaches every where. This was not what I thought it was gon be. They need the pest control to come out and spray these apartments asap. They painted the tub, now its peeling. Thats led poisoning. My neighbors above me party all day and night. Their kids stomp all day and night. I cant sleep.im not comfortable enough to tell any one that this could be the place you can call home. Because its not”

“I moved in 3 months ago and have found it a very nice place to live. My rent is very reasonable, my apartment was clean, and my kids love the playground and pool. The assistant manager is a dream. I almost like paying him rent every month.”

“This place is so bad words can barely describe it!!! 1st, there's hookers walking around the complex soliciting services on the 1st and 3rd of the month(around rent time. how ironic), 2nd, a week after I moved in the bug problem got worse. All breeds of spiders and roaches. I even saw humongous mice the size of rabbits outside and the droppings were everywhere even inside my apartment. Once I even found one in my toilet and immediately called maintenence and the guy said i'd have to plung the rodent out myself!!! PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE. I MADE THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE THE DAY I SIGNED THAT LEASE. Not to mention they overcharged me and lost my rent payment several times. Unless you want your car broken into, hookers everywhere for your kids to see and rodents the size of 4month old kittens coming near your children do not move here!!!!”

“Im glad to report that i have lived at Yorkshire for over 3 years and it's an affordable place to live. Outside staff is great they really are helpful and office staff is great they always have great attitudes. the place is looking great with the new owners. And they always have fun things going on... we give it 4 stars”

“I LIVE AT YORKSHIRE VILLAGE APT......IM GETTING READY TO LEAVE THIS PLACE.....THERE IS ALOT OF DRUG ACTIVITY AROUND HERE......A LOT OF NOISE....I'VE CALLED AND SPOKE TO THE ASST PROPERTY MANAGER ( VERONICA GARZA )ABOUT THE NOISE, RAT PROBLEMS AND WE HAVE A BIG HOLE UNDER OUR SINK IN THE KITCHEN AND NO ONE CAME TO FIX THE PROBLEM.....I'VE CALLED OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND THEY DO NOTHING ABOUT IT. I GUESS SHE DON'T CARE....THIS PLACE IS NOT SAFE FOR YOUR FAMILY....IM TIRED OF WATCHING TV AND SEEN RATS RUN AROUND THE APT.....EVERY DAY I GO TO WORK ....THERE IS SOMEONE DOING DRUG OUTSIDE.........I GOT TO GO......!!!!!! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE !!!!!!.....”

“lived there in 7/2008. The second day there we say a lizzard in our place. That night there was another one. They were pregnant and breeding inside the unit. After contacting Yolanda, the unprofessional assistant mgr. We were told that our problem was nothing and that there were tenants in 10 times worser condition than us. The next week we found a dead mice. Not once but, on two occassions. Needless to say my husband called code enforcement and texas apartment association and gave them information. We were given a confirmation number. Rent became due and we made a call to here on our late payment arrangements. Deceived and not honestly she locked us out, partially put us in the dark, our windows were nailed down. This was her retaliation. I tried to talk to Yolanda, but she was rude, insensitive, and unconcerned. She was personally into a squarwl with my husband for making such a phone call. After locking us out, partially putting us in the dark, and boarded up the windows she told me she was blaming us for abandonment. Charges were added on us like crazy. Following, she moved another tenant in withing 3 days of this. Guess what! Without any court appearances. After visiting the apartment everyday out of those days to see if we were living there. Tell me how, when you have locked us out! Guess what! All of this took place in less than our 1 month's stay there!”

“I see a big difference...I have lived here for over 5 years. Yes, there were a lot of problems out here. There was a recent change in ownership, and the new management team has really been cracking down on things and making progressive changes to the place. I just transferred to another apartment at the same complex and love it. It has plank flooring and the walls are painted a beige-like color with white trim. If I had to complain about something, it would have to be that the office is closed on Sundays and that is my only day off, other than that the place is great!”

“Cars are being broken into every single NIGHT! they have a security guard on watch but he's usually smoking dope with the other drug dealers which infest this place. Our apartment started growing mold and we requested to be transfered, always gave us the run around. they charge a ridiculous amount if your late 1 day, and the rip you off every chance they get with bogus charges. Management here is crooked, they steal your money, and have been changed about 5 times with no positive results. I assure you, your car will get broken into. OH! and this is what management does> they will have your car towed if your tire is touching the white line in the parking space, even though you have no other choice, you will have to pay huge towing fees, but nooooo they will not care about your safety. Since i've been here, i've known that a young girl with down syndrome got raped, an officer was shot, and you will be confronted by crackheads almost every week. ITS HORRIBLE! waiting for lease to end !!!!!!!”
