“When I leave my apartment maintenance unlocks my place and spits in my food and throw things around my place to start an explosion. I had a container lid threw into the back of my stove and once I started my oven it set on fire. Thanks to poor maintenance getting involved in things that has nothing to do with their job description. Ihave a continued review on Google titled Brook Brown and if someone who can help is reading please help because these apartments are not managed well. Help.”

Well someone should have told me to come over here between 12-5 am. These apartments are terrible, someone was killed on the side of my stairs and my child window is in that spot, we have a hard time sleeping and we are very uncomfortable. When I brought the situation up to the front office the manager of the apartments basically told me I couldn’t break my lease and it had nothing to do with me and wanted my son to write a statement and when I told her why do we have to write a statement!! I don’t want people knocking on my door questioning him he is a child! She didn’t care and when you call the head people over the apartments they never answered the phone or no return calls. Ants under my carpet and they and all they say is we gonna spray which isn’t working. When you get these kind of jobs you have to care about people and in this situation no one cares. I hate I moved here and I fear for me and my child life, I even asked if I could move to another unit and the manager was upset with me because I told her my son was scared, These are sad disgusting evil people and I wouldn’t recommend no one to move over here. You can’t look out the blinds because they break instantly which means if you move and you have broken blinds you can’t get your deposit back. They are so disrespectful I need to know a way to get away from here”

I had returned home for my two days off, only to discover everything was taken out of my home. From televisions that were mounted on the wall in every room, to my deep freezer with groceries. They even took my washer and dryer set.(both full-size).They literally stripped my home clean of groceries from the fridge to the pantry, they took washing powder, toiletries, they even went in my daughters room and stole shoes clothing and their electronic devices. What disturbs me the most, is that the neighbors that normally live outside all day and all night; never saw anything suspicious. These are the same residents that are always hanging around outside and watching everyone and everything. When asked, my neighbors all acted as if they weren't aware of the break in, but that's nonsense, especially since my neighbors knew me personally. Please save yourself the heartache, I tried asking the manager to allow me out of my lease due to my safety concerns, Ms. Tanisha denied that quickly, she never called nor went to speak to any neighbors about the issue, she hasn't provided more security for the apartments since the break in.There is lighting fixtures around my building that are not working, it has been reported more than once. Still nothing!! Didn't even send out a letter to aware the other residents of the matter that had taken place. I am a single mother of four, trying to make a living for me and my daughters, it's hard enough out here, it's sad that you can't work and come back to your things you worked hard for in life. By the way, I had made the apartments aware of the issue with the activity going on, around my apartment before this issue happened and nothing happened!!! Please do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to place your family, no one should have to go through these things and I'm forced to pay rent until November for an apartment that I refuse to reside in. Even the police officers that came to take the report said this was very close. And Tanisha( the property manager) had the locks changed to the apartment, as if that's gonna make a difference!!! They didn't need a damn key to get in !!! My apartment was #11203, building 11. And another that caught my attention is someone mentioned maintenance was going in and out my apartment while I was gone. The apartment manager was too calm. I'm pretty sure she knew what happened, she was very close to my neighbors.”

And they tow your cars for anything even if the sticker that they suggest you get is in your windshield. The place is not safe for anyone especially raising children.”

The only problem I have is the PARKING is HORRIBLE. The parking is horrible now with designated parking than before the changes. There are not enough spaces for visitors and those spaces that are available are always taken by vehicles that reside in units instead of actual guest. You basically can not have any one visit, because they have no where to park. After the 30-40 visitors spots are full, visitors are forced to park on the street and walk to the unit. Which is unsafe, especially at nighttime. I give my community a 4/5, would be a 5/5, but like I said the parking is an issue. I rate Grounds/Safety a 2/3, in regards to parking. Ms.King, I understand that the new parking system was put in place to better our community, and prior issues but now it's a hassle and headache, for residents and actual visitors.”

The office personnel is extremely helpful and friendly. the grounds are well kept and the amenities are wonderful, resource facility, fitness center and the after school food program for the kids. The units are spacious and inviting. I love the space i'm in and I don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.”

The only issue that i have is when people(children/adults) talk/fight etc or are just LOUD in general RIGHT outside the apartment. The good thing it doesn't last more than 10-15 mins at a time. Maybe that's just a pet peeve of mine, loudness in general. I always find parking, I've only had to call maintenance once and they came out same day, as the others, i feel safe walking outside. I have great neighbors too! Chris, the manager is sooo nice! Keeps it real too ;)”

The crime has stopped it's quiet at night, I'm not afraid to walk outside at night anymore, like I was when we had the other managers. And speaking of managers, our manager Mr. Chris Edwards is the very best!!! He's very kind and polite with everyone he comes in contact with. And he gets the JOB DONE whenever there's a problem. They do a good job with the landscaping of the property. Maintenance crew is some what ok...If something is wrong management always get it right!! Safety lights on the property are always working. I would strongly recommend this property to anyone who's looking for a nice, quiet and clean place to call home! I'M GLAD I DID!!”

Although, it looks like every year there will be at least an increase of $25.00 per month. But since we like it here so much and it's close to everything, we signed up for another year lease. Costa Rialto Apartment complex is great and we have always felt safe. The property is clean and we've seen numerous improvements during our stay; landscaping and installation of a new gate with key access to name a few. The office manager and his staff are very friendly and they are always available during their scheduled hours of business. Maintenance requests are easy to make and every request I've submitted has been handled at a timely manner. The maintenance guys are great, very friendly and trustworthy. Anytime I have a problem in our apartment, it's always taken care of as soon as possible. The Staff are really wonderful and they will accept all our packages when we are not available at home. My wife and I moved to this area two years ago and we think this place is the best in the neighborhood. We love it here, our unit is awesome and the size is quite large enough. Costa Rialto Apartment complex is big, very safe and well maintained. It's close to freeway 59 and Beltway 8, also very close to IAH/Bush airport. We love it here and we would highly recommend this place to all our friends and relatives!”

If u want rats, roaches and a -------- management, then Coasta Rialto Apts is your next home. They also go against their own lease agreement and are out to ruin your credit if you attempt to move from there property. The management added 2 more months onto my lease after my lease was up and and i had to pay those 2 months. They also threatened to put a broken lease on my credit when i told them that i was not gonna pay for those months. I spoke with NRP and they told me the same thing. This is a ------ complex and i advise you to never move into an apt managed by NRP. My car has been broken into and vandalized along with others in the apartment. The gates are never closed. They are always broken. I had the same broken microwave since I moved in and it was never replaced nor fixed. The fridge had roaches in it when I first moved in. There was also a dead rat on the side of the fridge. These apt are straight up ------. DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS!!”

From loud music to people outside yelling, cussing & fighting. The very first night at my new apartment my very first trip to move some stuff inside there was a domestic violence scene right across the way from me between a man and a woman. That first week there was teens outside my daughters window fighting. BUT a nice apartment inside. I did not have roaches though. I had a problem with leaking from the apartments above us. I was on the first floor. I put in a work order for leaking and showed the maintence the stains from the leaks on the wall and they came and painted over it, YEP that's it. Then they finally came back months later and fixed it properly. I moved in August 2011 with different management that is there currently however I'm not sure which management is worse. The day I moved in my place was NOT move in ready at all. There was dried up worms all over the floor in the kitchen and dinning room area. The place needed touch up painting all over the apartment. The toilets and tubs were not clean and on and on I can keep going... I had a hard time getting them to verify that I lived there for my new landlord... The manager did not understand why I wanted to move to Kingwood instead of resigning the lease there? Really? The day after I put in my 60 day notice maintance came in while I was at work and did a state inspection. They left all my burners on my stove top and my oven on, my blinds half way up, took a picture down & left the door unlocked. Management said this was a mandatory inspection however, I never got a letter on my door about it. And all the assistant manager could say was I am sorry. I am so glad to be out of there. However, I'm not sure what people (including me) are expecting from this apartment complex. It serves its purpose. They are income based apartments that accept housing on Aldine Bender in Houston, Tx. beside what was deemed the worse apartments in Harris County, Haverstock. PS the icecream man will not come through the neigborhood and pizza hut will NOT deliver there... That's usually an idication!”

This is supposed to be a gated complex, but of course the gates are always broken! None of the equipment works at the fitness center. And management is not to blame, it is the tenants! The apartments are hood! People are lingering around at all times of the day and night. Residents are cursing and yelling all day and night. Kids are left unattended. I didnt feel safe at all! THERE IS A HUGE ROACH INFESTATION!!!!! People may think, oh if you keep your place clean you wont have this problem.. NOT TRUE!! The night I moved in, roaches were everywhere!! I hadnt even brought any food or groceries into the place yet! And not just a few roaches. There were tons of roaches! All sizes, so it is definately infested! I absolutely love the design of the apartment, but I wish I had known what the area was like before I moved there!”
