“If I knew then what I know now, I would not of moved in these apartments. They are very misleading. When I first moved in, the manager and I filled out a link to register my truck to park here. My truck still got towed and I had to pay $117 to get it back. And no, they would not deduct that from my rent. Also, when discussing the apartment at the beginning, they said I would get a month free rent for moving in. Somehow, they waived that and only gave me $500 off. It appears they don’t like doing the “rightâ€Â thing for their tenants. Also, their parking lot that faces Los Cucos has a constant flow of waste water draining into the parking lot from the restaurant. Gross. I hope to resolve these issues, but the main lady working in the office doesn’t care too much. What a shame.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“Don’t move here!!! If I could give them 0 stars I would! Don’t get fooled by the 3.9 star rating! Do not believe the 5 star reviews by other people on here is a complete lie!!!!!!The lights are always going out even when it’s not raining, even with light rain they got out, takes hours to come back, this has happened over 15 times! The stay shutting the water off constantly without much time notice at least once every week. Not to mention they are also always turnings the hot water off constantly! Mold inside the apartment, maintenance just covers it up!! Gate is always broken, the new front office people are rude especially the girl with the ugly eyebrows, not mention late to open the office in the morning, also asked for the manager and should would not provide me her information or contact her!! There is always dog ---- everywhere! They have visitor parking labels but even if you park there your car will get towed! You have to registered the car every 24hrs but if anyone visiting for longer than 5 days, the app won’t let you register any longer it will say you have exceeded the amount. This place is ridiculous, no wonder I see people constantly moving out after living here for a year, I definitely won’t be renewing! Strongly highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“ONE THING I will say is DO NOT MOVE HERE. I have had BAD “ALLERGIES” since I got here…. Finding out there is MOLD. My property has been damaged. I told the maintenance and he fixed NOTHING. My whole closet floor is soaked! Everything is currently in the living room floor. The roaches here ARE THE WORST I EVER SEEN. I have taken pics of everything for my proof. I am forced to move atleast a month early because this is messing with my health! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Cheap rent is not worth it!!!!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“Toured and spoke with Jackie, Toni and. Kim, they were so friendly and professional. I recommend this complex to several of my friends and they moved in . They are extremely satisfied. I plan to move in as soon as my current lease is up. I would highly recommend this complex !”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL APARTMENTS!!!!!! When you move out they try to charge you for anything they decide to "remodel" or change! And say that they cleaned when they didn't and any carpet stains or holes from tv was impossible to fix and had to remove and replace everything!!! They're lying and saying it is on us to pay for the replacement of everything when it was completely unnecessary to do such a remodel. Even when you call their corporate number the women speaking at the extension number 1355, ANGELA, she gives you an attitude right away, has no understanding for her clientele and hangs up on you. She lies and only cares for the apartments and completely treats anyone calling her with disrespect and when you call her out for it she disrespects you more and hangs up. She does not care as the over $1000 charge is not coming out of her income. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL service and AWFUL apartments to begin with. Do not move here!!! The maintenance sucks, there are consistent problems with neighbors and utilities like water being turned off. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“???????????????? I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY THINK THIS IS OKAY KNOWING KIDS LIVE HERE !! ???????????????????????????????? These apartment don't care about ---- but getting there damn rent! Read below before RENTING OR LEASING ????????? Hypersensitivity pneumonitis is an inflammation of the lungs caused by an allergy to dust or other particles, like fungus and molds, present in the air. When you breathe in the particles, or allergens, the air sacs in your lungs fill with white blood cells or, occasionally, fluid. Repeated exposure to the allergens means continued inflammation, which can lead to the formation of scar tissue. In the case of air conditioner lung, the condition is caused by fungus that develops in AC units that have not been properly maintained. Other common causes include: Mold from hay, straw and grain Bird feathers and droppings Bacteria in water vapor from indoor hot tubs Many people who develop hypersensitivity pneumonitis are exposed to allergens as a result of their work. High-risk professions include farming, bird and poultry handling, veterinary medicine, lumber milling, and grain and flour processing, as well as certain types of manufacturing, such as plastics and electronics. Symptoms of air conditioner lung typically appear 4-6 hours after exposure to the allergen and may include: ?????????????????????????? Dry cough Shortness of breath Tightness in the chest Fever Chills Tiredness Symptoms may last anywhere from 12 hours to a few days. Repeated exposure may also result in weight loss. The manager thinks she owns these apartment but cause even type an email you can under stand FIX YOUR SELF! & STOP GIVING SUGGESTIONS !! MANITANCE SUCKS & DON'T KNOW ---- PLUS THERE ------- LAZY !! FOR EXAMPLE: WHEN WORKING ON AN AC UNIT I WATCHED THEM RELEASE FREON IN THE AIR, ???????? CAN EFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT OR NOT GOOD FOR US!! I ASKED WHERE'S YOUR RECOVING TANK AND MANTAINCE REPLIED: OH IT'S UP THERE IN JUST NOT USING IT .. ??? ????LIKE WTF ..... This is a state violation and y'all will be fined as soon as I report this . I have it in video ??? Google it !! Refrigerants that are ozone depleting substances are being phased out under the Ozone Layer Protection Act (OLPA) 1996. It is illegal to release these refrigerants into the atmosphere. ... If you release these refrigerants to the atmosphere you can be fined up to $10,000.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“Great people and great place to live! I moved here right before the storm and the staff have been helpful and just great, then I had to move to another apartment, but the management assisted with that as well I did not have to move anything just myself. I'm happy with the choice I made thanks to this company and I would not move anywhere elsewhere”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“What can i say great Maintenance. Every time i call Maintenance are available and on time. They have a nice and courteous staff. I just moved in and they have a great restaurant nearby and awesome neighborhood. There is efficient and professionalism. I highly this recommend this place and have no issue here. I had no complaints and i am highly satisfied. Five Stars.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“The parking is horrible!!!!!! Barely Any parking for guest. My nanny car got towed twice. The roaches are out of control and the maintenance people take months to fix things. You also will have a 10pm curfew meaning ( You can't stand, walk around or take a breath of fresh air without being harassed by the security guard!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I've lived here for about 6 months. Love the property and management. I have no complaints. The large swimming pool is great. Can't wait for summer.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“Since management has changed and the new renovations have been made. The property looks great and I really feel at home. It is one of the better apartments that I have lived it.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I love living here .I have lived here over ten years and love the new staff!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I live here now and the only thing I have a problem with is the parking it's horrible. Hopefully once construction is over with we will have more parking spaces. The new management is really trying. I can atleast say that. They have done more for us than the previous owners did.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I have lived here for over 5 years and it has not been a very good experience.. The Apts are now under new ownership and things have become even worse. The Apt laundromat is a 12 washer and 10 dryer setup and 80 percent of the time 70 percent of the equipment is not working BUT it will take your money.. Since the new owners remodeled it has only 3 wahers and 4 dryers that work and NO hot water for laundry. They have added additional costs to the renter - the are operational costs which were before new owners were paid by apts.. In addition, they have raised the rental cost per unit when you release up to 200 per month per unit.. Plus the maintenance people are blamed for everything.. I have twice to get the corporate office phone number and /or website from the office and will not give it out .. Also there is no security and the non english speaking parents let thier children run wild and they use the parking areas as a soccor/football field.. I currently have abuot 2700 USD in body damage to my new truck.. So best of luck..”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I have lived here for a while and have noticed some positive changes here. The new management staff is great as well as maintenance. The office staff is always friendly, smiling and willing to help out. I have noticed some exterior work being done and can't wait for it to be finished. I am really excited and can't wait to see all of the changes that will be made. Anxious resident!”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I recently moved in and I have noticed that the new management company is making a lot of positive changes here. They just changed my blinds, toilet, and all my light fixtures. My apartment looks new with all the changes.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“Loud unsupervised children run around till 10 or 11 at night screaming at the top of their lungs, gate is alWays broken, broken beer bottles all over the parking lot, trash overfills, they will tow your car in a heartbeat if not "parked in a space" problem is after 8pm there's no spaces, today they put a note on the door saying your car will be towed for several reasons, yet they do nothing about the lack of parking spaces, won't ever come fix anything yet will give you a eviction notice one day after rents due. MULTIPLE family's living in one bedroom apartments(no wonder there's no where to park) Rude people unless you speak Spanish witch I do and they still are not nice people. Cars broken into every-time gate is broken. The people who work here are lazy and leave the office 30 to 45 mins early EVERYDAY its wens day the 12th of February today and the office closes at 6 yet nobody's been there since 515. So you have to take off work early to make sure your there and hour before they close to pay any bills or talk to somebody cause you never know when they will leave, BUGS out the ---, new management is just as bad as the old and have no idea what the issues are and I don't think they care tiger put dumb light fixtures in and cut the grass now rents going up. NOT WORTH THE CHESP PRICE. DO NOT MOVE HERE, and FYI all the good reviews on here are made by the staff, there will be one a day or too after this one that will try and lie to make up for this real review”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“The manager has the audacity to sit around and read and reply to reviews by consumers rather than fix the problem. The property manager is lazy, uncaring, and is mentally deplorable just like the apartments. When I called corporate to complain about the water pressure which was every month and the parking the corporate scumbag had the nerve to hangup on me in the middle of telling her what happened. So in return I left without notice didn't care because by the time that happened I was able to secure a better apartment in the Westchase area. These apartments should be condemned by the city. The apartments across the street are wonderful if you can please head over there instead of Clay Creek. The roaches were also a major problem. If you kept a clean apartment the neighbors caused so many roaches. The day I was moving out a potential resident was touring the complex but thank goodness I was able to stray her decision not to move there. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that woman and her 2 children were in grave danger living there. Nobody should have to deal with that.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I have been living here for about two years now and i have had it. First of all lets talk about the people who live here, SUPER ANNOYING with no respect for other people. Since i have lived here i have treated everyone with the upmost respect hell i even started learning a little spanish so i could talk to people around here( mostly -------- nothing wrong with that). But let me say they just are rude people and not -------- people in general but the human beings who live here dont care about anyone else's peace. They BLAST music with all windows open that can be heard across the complex (multiple people different times a day) theres even this one guy that does f******* karaoke from his living room(by him self) and he really cranks it up. And god help you if you try and go talk to these people, the lady next door play music through out the day and the bass coming through the wall has literally knocked stuff off shelves. but when you go to talk to her she pretends she does not understand you (herd her speaking english to her son in the past) and then when you ask in spanish to turn the music down she shuts the door and all is good for about 30 mins then its back. And you can go complain to management all day long they will smile, take a note and not do anything mind you this is for maintenance request as well your better off cornering one of the maintenance guys and asking yourself (but you better speak spanish) lol i find it funny how people will act like they dont know what your saying its easy to tell. now let get to security and parking, funny thing there are more cars than spaces every night and allot cars dont have a parking pass (management also does not care but they did take a note lol) and over the past 6 months there have been a number of vehicle break-ins 5 in one night once. you can see the evidence of it sometimes driving out the gate and seeing a car with its back window smashed and the funny thing is the gate seems to be broken and left open the past two times ive seen thi. the only good thing i can say about this is i dont believe this is done by people who live here, people around here might be annoying but they are just regular working people, no thungs or anything like that. oh if you get on here and try and spin this whole thing off with a bogus comment ill start up loading pics of everything since i just learned i can lol. IVE SERIOUSLY HAD IT WITH THIS PLACE”

— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I WAS THINKING OF MOVING TO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX, AND I WAS GOING TO VISIT THE COMPLEX... BUT DAMN.. I HAVE NO WORDS.. IM REALLY THINKING ABOUT IT... I JUST READ ALL THE REVIEWS.. AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO OR SAY.. THE ONLY THING I CAN REALLY SAY IS... WOW..”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“My first month of living here there was a shooting in front of my apartment! when we called the police they never even showed up. When i went to the office in the morning they heard it too but didnt even give a report to the police station. It was the worst apartments i ever lived in”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I am sitting here reading this reviews, and I am shocked at all the negative comments. I waited patiently 2 months before I could get an apartment here, under my terms. I wanted a 2 bedroom 1 bath downstairs close to the office, but not facing directly the pool. I was looking for apartments as close to Katy as possible, the rent is affordable therefore I knew I wouldn't have the most luxurious. I love that our maintenance are neighbors, and they take the time to know you and if there is anything wrong they never take too long to respond. I also love the organization of the office, if I have a problem in regards to my account I can go to Sophie and I know she'll do the best to understand and help me out. Sylvia is the BEST, though!!! I just love her, she is always so positive and gets everything done so quickly. Norma obviously did something right she has a good team working with her, to keep things moving. As far as people not speaking English, well as far as I know that isn,t a crime. Kids do tend to be out late, but that is not the complex responsibility. There's bad parents everywhere. Hell if you don't like noise, demand towards the back, if you don't like stomping ask for upstairs. Hell we're in the US the average woman is a size 14 and the average man a size 38. Whoever is upstairs there is bound to be some stepping. My upstairs neighbors have 2 girls and I'm sure they can hear my 2 boyz when they're making fits. It's all about reachin' out and learning to live with your neighbors. I've had pest issues and they are taking care of it, much improvement. They cleaned all my carpet when water overflowed my bathroom and about a square foot of my hallway carpet. (They sanitized, deodorized, and changed the carpet padding) No one told me I was there. I just love it here, definately renewing. They brought a church rodeo to the parking lot. My kids loved that!!! Now what would really bring this complex to the top in my list if they offered appliance rental with lease.”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I lived in clay creek apts, for 3yrs and have a positive outlook on our apts ... office staff mgr. norma & asst. mgr. sofia ... have always been very proffesonal with my tenant needs towards my problems conserning my apt. issuses .. my maintenants has always being taking care of ... the only problems I and everyone else has is mainly parking ... I hardly hear rumors about police being called on which makes it better for all of us ...”
— 16222 CLAY RD · Houston“I sadly live at clay creek apartments! This is absoloutly the worst complex you could ever live in!! The noise is insane, there is no control over the pool hours or level of nosie at the pool. The children scream at the top of there lungs, destroy any and all property pool and other wise. You will find no adult supervision over these children, except when the parents are outside getting drunk and "hanging out" until 3 or 4am. I had to recently call the police at 1am to have 19 yes 19 children ranging from age 3 to 10 escorted home so I could go to bed to be up for work! NOT one person here speaks english or is even probably a legal resident of the US! This place is crawling with cock roachs, we have water damage in the bathroom and kitchen. Almost none of the electrical outlets work, there is poor lighting all over. And the best part to this half --- desgin is the cable hook up is under your stair case!! LOL so you can sit under your stairs and watch tv I guess! The entire house is filled with mold, you can find that they paint everything and I mean everythig. Your bath tub even some sticky clear coat they put all over the kitchen counters, so everything you put on the counter sticks right too it! Lets see that is just the tip of the iceberg. Lets touch on the managment for just a second, RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE! If Norma doesnt like what you have to say she will just hang up on you!LOL However I do have to mention that there is an assistant manager Sylvia, she is very kind and helpful and if this apartment complex had any sense they would hand over the manager position to her! The maintenece men are nice as well. At the end of the day there are too many problems to list and they need to start with A NEW MANAGER to begin fixing this disaster! So if you are looking for a nice, classy quiet apartment complex to relax in after a long day or night, this is not the place!!”
