“I lived there for a couple years moving out in July of 2007. My 1st year was cool. The on site manager tried very much to make it a nice place to live, b/c the apartments were in bad shape. I was paying $545/month, but it came with free cable, gas & water. Then Kafoglis properties bought the complex & chose not to have an on site manager. My lease expired & I just stayed month to month without paying anything extra. That was nice! Then management hardballed everyone not in a lease to sign a a new lease or pay $45 extra. The notices arrived on our doors June 30th & we had to sign before August 1. In order to give 30 days notice, we had to say we were moving before we had time to look around & see what's out there. I went on ahead & signed for a year, but that was long year of nothing but problems. I lived in #15 downstairs. Every time it rained, water came in under the wall in my bedroom. They never could figure out how to stop it. I also had problems with a broken pipe next door coming under that wall. And then I came back from out of town that Christmas to find a pipe burst in the ceiling & water was pouring into my apt. Management agreed to pay for a damaged bookshelf, but never sent me a check as promised, so I finally took it off the rent. I didn't even ask them to help with all the other stuff. They never even offered anything off the rent or the option to cancel my lease so I could move out early. I paid the whole amt right up to the last month, with the 1 exception of the bookshelf. B/C they were remodeling the vacant units, they did not want to spend money on mine by putting in new carpet that would be ripped up & replaced with tile when I moved out. They finally agreed to new carpet when I offered to settle for industrial grade carpet, which meant no padding. Good thing to since the place continued to flood and this carpet dried faster. Sound definitely travels down. The one time I had a tenant in the apt above me, I could hear every fight they had...word for word. The pool parties were noisy. There are no good things to say about the apartment complex itself, but it is in a great location. While living there, I walked to all the great restaurants in the area & even over to the Kroger & Half Price Books a few times. I liked saving on fuel & getting exercise.”

Water pipes break, days without hot water, laundry room (when they work)is a mess, tenants pass out in the hallway, expect a $250 a month electric bill in the summer time just to stay somewhat cool. ALL of the minor renovations have been done half --- at best. Gates are never secure. And yes the pool is nice and well cared for, but the nieghbors like to let thier dogs all but live in it during the summer. It's an over priced dump basically.”

She assigns parking spaces that have already gone to somone else.

The drugs problem is horrible. Management could be bothered less, and do not care. Better off sleeping in a tent...”
