“When I first a moved in, it was amazing.Pros: Free water, cable, the apartment was very spacious, and rent was very reasonable $500 for a 2b. The apartments aren't all cramped up their is ample space for kids to play and walk the dog. If I called to have anything fixed (for the most part) it was done the same day or week. I felt safe even though the apartments aren't gated.Cons: There is a huge roach and bat problem that still hasn't been taken care of. About 2 years ago their were 2 shootings within a month of each other which kind of scared me, but I just thought these things happen anywhere. New management company took over the property and things have gone downhill since. The service isn't as personable and it's like they just want your money. They're fixing up the property at OUR expense. Rent has sky rocketed!!!! I remember for the past 8 years their were never any apartments available and most of us were long time residents, now their just letting ANYONE move in! I don't feel as safe anymore, thank God my lease is almost up. My advice 3 years ago, totally recommend. Now, take your money elsewhere. There are more apartments further down Bissonnet and Bellfort that are actually worth the money.”

“The reason why this property is full is because of free cable and water is included in the rent. They are a little bit behind on their monthly rental charges but they are catching up with other properties in Houston. I have lived in this apartment for almost two and half years. If you are a Spanish, this is a place for you. Many black residents especially Africans have left because of horrible treatment from the Management. The apartments are spacious and nice but maintenance is a problem. NOW THE MANAGEMENT: The Manager and her Assistant are just wicked and cold blooded. They are always hostile and mean to non Spanish speaking residents. Sooner or later somebody will sue this property for racism or discrimination.”

“The place is becoming unsafe. All sorts of people are with questionable xcter are becoming residents in here and car breaking becoming like "mosquito bites". Complaints are handled with lack of knowledge by staffs. Parking lots allocation is delude of common sense. My list is endless. I leave here but on the verge of getting out.”

“This place is dirty most of the time. Very un-kept by the people in charge. They don't run it like serious place for decent living. If you complain of something going bad in your place, they will promise to fix but will never show up eternally. But if you speak straight Spanish they may come fix it when they feel like but will inferior items. If you need reasonable people who will feel your discomfort when things get out of order in your apartment look elsewhere not this place”

“This is the worst of the worst. I lived here for almost 2 years. But I wouldn't recommend this apt not even to my worst enemy. Its full of roaches & mouses. There's never a parking available & if you wanna reserved a parking it's 50$ monthly. The staffs are always in your business they always wants to know who goes in & who comes out of your apt. The pool it's always dirty. The killed a guy at the end of June & nobody from the office said a word. Every year the rent goes up & if you want them to fix something the take for ever to come. The office it's only open mon- fri. If you you like your property stolen from you own patio this is the place for you !!! My air conditioner hasn't been cooling for weeks & nobody from the office has come. That's why I decide to move out of this complex & plus theres a lot of gangs & there's a lot of ------ people & if you don't want your kids around it don't even move here.”

“I been here 5 yrs and the bed bug infestation gets worse even after treatment. The office. Will lie and say u bought them but everyone I know live here they had to throw away just as much furniture as I have. The manager is very unprofessional and childish... and play --- for tat if u don't kiss her behind. My ceiling has a big hole with mold and water Pouring into a thrash can because they won't fix it.. These are horrible apartments and the staff is even worse.”

“These are the worst apartments I've ever been,the apartments are full of cockroaches it is very disgusting.I have tried so many things to kill them they never go away, if you are looking for nice apartments these are not for you.”

“I have lived here for close to 4 years and I must say every year it gets worse and worse. I hoped every year it would get better, but again I was wrong. Management play FAVORITES a lot here, as well as bend the rules to their "favorite" tenants. Every year the rent goes up, but yet they cannot build a proper playground for the children. Now, they will throw parties for the children and their tenants maybe twice a year, as a community, but they will not fix a thing! Makes us wonder.... where is our money really going? I have the ceiling falling in from a leak caused in my upstairs bathroom, maintanence still hasnt come to fix in a year, even after numerous calls to get it done. Maintanence will fix a problem, not in a timely fashion, when they are ready, and only temporary fix. My father recently had purchased a set of washer/dryer that costs me $2000.00,as a gift, well the set comes with a vent tester to see if the venting system is adaquate enough. So i tested the system and it came back blocked/clogged I called maintanence for the problem and they came out, but started pressing buttons on my dryer, and them even caught one of them crawling on top of my washer, I DONT THINK SO! I asled them to leave and send professionals. The problem didnt get fixed! Management throw personal parties and stay up late with music/noise and always have an excuse why they have permission to throw them. Everyone else on the property has to shut their parties down at 9pm. Security claims there is a curfew, but that only applies to tenants, NOT Management/Maintanence that live on the property! PARKING IS UNBELIEVABLE! HUNTINGTON VILLAGE/CAMBRIDGE APARTMENTS charge $15 every month for reserved parking for their tenants, but does not GUARANTEE you will have a parking close to your apartment. My cars have been vandilized twice and my best friend that also lives on the CAMBRIDGE side (dont get me started on that side) had her car completely gutted out by, more than likely, tenants children. Security was no where to be found here when cars are being broken into or vandilized! Children here are EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL and cuss you out when they want. The rule for animals os $300 per pet, even ones that stay in cages, but that rule only applies to tenants, not management/maintanence that live on property. After saying all of this, I have decided to move as soon as my lease is up, or maybe just leave! I wouldnt recommend this property to even my enemy!”

“This apartment complex is ------< ------< ------, and by the way did I say ------. If you like lil' kids cussing you out,seeing boys underwear all the time because the sag, then this is the place for you. If you like to come out your front door and being hit in the face with the smell of weed on a daily basis,oh and did I mention that one resident has a weed plant growing on his porch in plain site, then this is the place for you. If you like your property stolen from your patio, then this is the place for you. I have seen with my own eyes a person drive past the dumpsters and stop in the middle of the parking lot and empty the entire contents of trash from her van in the parking lot, close the door and drive on. My air conditioning has not been cooling for two weeks, I have complained several times being it is 109 out side and all I get is the run around. I am told that it is normal for it to sound like a train is on the roof! Yea! Everytime I call the office, I get oh yes ma'am we will be out asap, but they never do. And when and if they do they always try to deflect the blame for the problem and end up either not fixing it or patching it up just to get by. IE, the air conditioner.Just called the office to get the number for corporate office and I basically had to promise my first born to get the number. Called corp and they were just as secretive. Wouldnt even give me the name of the company. WOW! I am to expect a call back. I WONT hold my breath. The apartments are huge for the money, but for me the Ghettoness is not worth it. And like Chris Rock said, "I don't mind living around black people, but i hate living around __as!" "you make the choice”

“You get what you pay for. My mom actually rents the apartments but I am going to start renting an apartment here pretty soon. I have used this website to look around for apartments in the Houston area and I have to say that for the money that I am looking to spend, this apartment complex is probably the best for the price. The proof is in the residents. The apartment complex is completely occupied. They have a waiting list to get in. Yes it is not the prettiest or the newest but people keep to themselves. The only complaints I would say is the teenagers do get loud at the pool during the summer, my mom's car has been broken into several times (car was unlocked), and parking does suck in some places. No bug problems, no other issues.”

“Roaches and mice infested apartments. PLASTER FELL DOWN FROM THE CEILING IN THE LIVING ROOM. LEAKS FROM THE RAIN OUTSIDE COMING INTO THE LIVING ROOM. Me and my wife at that time skipped out on our lease because someone broke into our apartment. It is not safe there live. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE TO RENT! I THINK THAT THE PLACE IS RUN BY SLUM LORDS! THE PLACE IS HORRIBLE! THE WHOLE PLACE NEEDS TO BE RENOVATED! FOR GOD'S SAKE, DON'T THINK ABOUT LIVING THERE!!!!! THE PLACE SUCKS!!!!”

“i have lived here for about two years and the apts. are great and spacious. they have really good prices for the units,they have been remodeling the apts. lately so they look even better. the office staff in nice and curtious, and their maintance crew is great and very efficient.”

“I BEEN LIVING HERE FOR ABOUT TWO YAERS NOW. I LOVE THIS PLACE, THE UNIT IS HUGE AND A GOOD PRICE. MY UNIT LOOKS REALLY NICE. mAINTENANCE IS ALWAYS ON TIME TO FIX MY PROBLEMS. WE HAVE A GREAT SECURITY. I ALWAYS SEE THW SHERRIF AROUN OUR PROERTY I JUST LOVE THI SPLACE ITS THE BEST PLACE I CAN LIVE IN. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND ANYONE T LIVE HERE!!!! :) DONT FORGET ABOUT THE OFFICE STAFF THEY ARE GREAT AND FRIENDLY.”

“this is the most worst place i ever live in,u find all cain of problems here.roaches infested unit,drug dealers,and most recently rape cases of a few residents,laundry rooms awfull.parking lots,inexperienced people in the office starting with the supposed manager.maintenance soo bad a/c bill from $200.00 to $500.00 or more,a/c units in bad shape,my ceramic tile in the bathroom falling down,a lot of roof leaks,very inexperienced maintenance people with the exeption of one person.”

“In the beginning, we services were good, but it started going downhill. They are slow about fixing things, and always finding excuses to try not to fix them. Management is full of s***. I live right behind the leasing office and I've had a rat in my apartment for a month and all they have done was put glue traps out. That isn't fair! Every time i complain about it, i always get the same poor excuse. I can't wait for my lease to be up! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! I hope they clean this place up, because it's terrible! There needs to be a "care attitude" instead of a "next" type of attitude!”

“This complex is a great deal for the cost....if you aren't rich, this is the spot for you. I have two boys, there are plenty of kids around here and my apartment was very clean when I moved in. Maintenance takes care of any problems I have very quickly. I would recommend this property to families saving up for a house, it's affordable and quiet except after school, there are many kids but as a parent that is a plus...”

“The office staff is great.The maintenance crew is really quick to take care of any problems that come up. I enjoyed my stay. The location is great. Near three schools which is very convenient. The parking is ok but too many kids hanging out late at night especially in the summer. The pool is the worst I have ever seen. It is small square and often dirty. The older kids that hang around the pool are so unruly and foul mouthed that I don't let my kids swim there.”

“I have found that the people in the renting office will say anything to get you to lease one of the apartments in this "nice" complex. I did not like the way I was treated.....Hopefully someone will come in and actually give a damn about the people and the apartments.”
