“I have been living in this Dump for over a year now. Moved here from a fairly decent 3Br 2Ba home in Louisiana to relocate for my job. I chose to "save money" my first year or so by choosing an apartment complex that advertised great prices with quality amenities and secure living. How in God's name could I have been so wrong?? From the very first month that I was here I literally made 4-5 Service Calls to Management for everything from water leaks, Bugs, dogs being allowed to poop on sidewalks, near stairwells, and anywhere there is any shred of grass or dirt, to the enormous amount of trash and waste that is left randomly at my doorstep by strangers passing by. The mold and the rot around this complex are immeasurable! They are constantly just putting wooden band-aids on everything in sight. The water never stays on for more than 2 weeks at a time before notifications come through email stating that our water will be turned off due to "maintenance" or "water main breaks" in the area. This is constant!! Over the past Year, I have made over (8) Service Calls to Management for the same (2) issues. Water leaks and Bugs!! Trust me there are Bugs everywhere. This is due primarily to an abundance of moisture, trash, and food for the damn things. It's not that hard to figure out. Lastly, they advertise to be a Gated Community with a required "Parking Permit" system in effect, otherwise you will be towed...Yet, I witness daily violators of this policy with people from everywhere sneaking in and parking here morning, noon, and night, as real residents access the "secure" gated entrances. I recently had my car towed to the tune of $370 for not updating my Parking Sticker in time before the New Year. I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR OVER A YEAR!!! They punish those who actually live here by towing vehicles, rather than using common ------- sense and referencing the license plate numbers on vehicles. How can a sticker cost a resident $370, when the car and license plate associated with the vehicle matches the one in your database to begin with??? Needless to say, my lease finally comes up in June, otherwise they would make me take a $1500 hit for terminating early. However, I will spend the rest of my time here and every waking hour after that being the Biggest advocate as to why someone...Anyone should never live in the --------. PLEASE...Don't be a Sucker...Like Me!”

“I’ve been living here almost 2 years and let me start with saying it was wonderful initially. That is until the people around us started moving in. The first incident happened when the neighbor next to us started performing rituals in the middle of the night. Now I’m a believer of God and because of this I was affected. I actually had to get an exorcism done because I was possessed. I woke my fiancé up in the middle of the night hitting myself and proceeded to wound myself the next day. Had it not been for prayer I wouldn’t be here anymore. Now we complained to the leasing office about this and they simply said that that’s their religion and they can’t do anything about it. Im not sure what kind of sick person decapitates goats to then place their head next to their entrance. The smell of death hits you as soon as you exit any of your doors. I wanted to grill during my days off and was met with huge flies flying everywhere. If you want to face these issues on top of it being infested with roaches as well as rats then be my guest. I’ve had to throw away so much food that I’ve found opened the next day. They have pest control but it’s not frequent as it should be. Im actually leaving this place and not ending my contract. If it’s about me choosing my well being over not being penalized I will chose myself over & over again. I will never step foot in this property much less recommend this place to anybody. Do yourself a favor & leave if you currently recide here. It’s not worth it at all for your well being or your families!!!!”

“Apparment full of bugs and roach, overpaid rent, water bill the most higher ever even if you are out all day. No security at all even when you pay for it. Probably Shady business with American Auto Storage to Tow your car. Bad management and incompenet leasing staff. Noisy enviroment all the time with loud music and weed smokers. We have had a shooting incident with a wounded person and no even a 911 call. I highly do NOT recomend to anyone to live in this place”

“If I could give them a no star I would. Lived there so long but had to go. Maintanance doesn't do their job at all. No matter how many times u have them come in to fix anything they do t do a good job at all. There are times where u submit requests and they just put complete and they do t even go see what is wrong. People here are so ridiculous. You can hear and see people fighting and getting kicked out cuz one partner cheated on the other and they are so loud about it that they don't care to take it outside so other people can hear. Towing is a joke. Security, don't even get me started there. He parks his car there and leaves or he will fall asleep and that is basically his job. Had my car broken into and I had seen his car was there but he wasn't. People are too lazy to throw away their trash in the dumpster that they leave it in hallways or toss it in front of people's backyards. The landscape workers don't even cut your grass at times. They will do a back yard or two then leave. I had to buy my own weed eater and do it my damn self cuz those guys are useless. All I can tell u is run and I mean run as far as you can. They have bad mold and leaking problems. They can't seem to figure out why my ac is always leaking to my closet that I decided to stop calling them to fix it cuz they can't give me an answer or fix it just like when they did work in my restroom and didn't do a good job and now I have the same problem if not worse than the first time. Glad I left those apartments.”

“I've been living here for 7 months and there hasn't been one month where I haven't had to make a maintenance request. Since the application process it's been nothing but hell and dysfunction. Upon moving, they lost a staff that was working on our application process. She told us so much information that turned out not to be true. They didn't complete and finalize our move in until 3 days until our move in date. They've switched management at least 3 times since September 2019. There pests are horrid !! We are very clean people and have requested pest service 3 times. Two general ones before a more extensive one is done. Which was completed last week, we shall see if it works. Every other month there's an issue with the water whether it's working or the pipes aren't the temperature they should be at. We literally can have the hot water knob to its max and still need no cold water to cool it down = TRASH! The trash pick up service: they only pick up the bagged trash 5 days a week. They rarely clean the hallways. There was one night where maintenance knocked on our door at 9 pm and worked until midnight due to a leave from our water to the apartment below us. The pool hasn't been opened since I've lived here. There's vacant buildings that haven't been done since I've moved here with missing windows, looks like trap houses. It's terrible! I would not recommend anyone to move here. We are seriously regretting the last few months we have to move.”

“I recently had an issue with my AC, I contacted the office in which they sent the handy man to view the situation. He did a quick fix and he couldn't explain what was wrong with it. Days later water was leaking from the unit, I have a soaked closet floor along with my belongings were damaged. I made a call to the office and they sent another guy to view and assess the issue. I have yet to receive an apology on behalf of the apartment office. Fast forward to yesterday 6-24-2019, as I was asleep with my children, I heard a loud popping noise and the leak was back in full force damaging my furniture. Also smoke was coming from the vents. I immediately contact the office and 24 hour emergency contact for the apartments and received NO ANSWER. I had to sleep with these horrible conditions with my children. When contacting the office I spoke with the office manager (Luisa). When ranting about how my night went she began to laugh and state why didn't you call 911. Excuse me, I'm not sure why she has the attitude when I had to sleep in these conditions. I would like answers and she can't even answer. At this point I'm beyond frustrated and at a lost. I'm contacting corporate at this point!”

“Ive lived here for almost a year now. An I had a bad roach problem when I first moved in. Since then I still have a terrible roach problem. Nothing has been sloved. There's still roaches. Very unsanitary.”

“Where do I even begin with this place...I'll try to keep this review as short as possible. 1. BED BUGS! I itch constantly throughout the day on my back and arms due to bed bugs. I dont even know where they came from but theyre in both of my bedrooms. Its a nightmare! 2. Roaches! Big ones, small ones, medium sized ones. There everywhere and you cannot get rid of them. Ive never experienced this in my life. 3. Gnats! They will terrorize you. Dont even bother thinking you can get rid of them. They will live with you until you move. 4. Laundry washer and dryers are outside. People will open up the washer you are using and then beetles and roaches will crawl in and infest your clothes. I had to abandon my clothes in there and buy all new ones. 5. Water goes from hot to cold while you shower! Old pipes that they dont want to replace. 6. Thin walls! You will hear everything! 7. Parking is --------! They purposely write the word "Reserved" on parking spaces in the color red, so that its hard to see it at night. And then they will tow you with the quickness. $225 dollars. We have had so many cars towed. These people are crooks. 8. In our 2 bedroom, we pay 70 dollar water bills every month. And remember our water goes from hot to cold to burning hot while we shower. We are paying so much because they dont want to replace their old pipes. 9. Rent is so high for NOTHING! No gym, no tennis court, barely a pool or lounging area outside, no business center, no NOTHING to boast about. Yet we pay over 1000 every month. 10. Lastly, the staff in the office is HORRIBLE. They have horrible attitudes. We pay them so much and yet they treat you like you're nobody. They actually sent me eviction processing papers because we were paying rent on the 4th of the month. They put the amount that we owe on the papers. Then when I came to pay the amount that was on the papers, they told me I needed to write a new check because I was off by 27 cents! 27 cents! But yet, I wrote the check with the amount that they wrote on the papers that they sent me. They told me I should have calculated the amount myself! This place is garbage. The only good thing about this place is the security. That is why Ive stayed this long. Ive always felt safe. If thats all you care about then go ahead and move here. And I notice that 90% of the Good reviews all mention the staff or management. Things that make you go Hmmmm. Smh. Idiots.”

“I usually don't believe these things and now I'm writing one Lol. I been in these Apts a few years now and seen several management teams come and go. But the current office team has been very pleasant and accommodating. They also ask input from residents on apartment events. They are way better than the past three I seen here. Keep up the great work, I'm probably renewing my lease again because of the staff from top. To bottom. Maintenance is top notch also Lol well I'm done. My experience is mine, I can't speak for other residents here”

“I took a chance after reading the reviews for this property to see for myself bc i have no renters history and the 2 other places i applied asked for crazy amount of deposit. I can't afford much I'm just starting out on my own and this was the best option at the time. I don't regret it ! I really did luck out, its small and quiet and the residents are nice including the staff. I did have an issue with my ac but they fixed it within the hour i called it in. Don't always go by the bad reviews, I came to find out the new management is cleaning house and i appreciate that i dont have to worry about people breaking into my car or being stalked outside my apt. I will renew my lease with them without second guessing it!”

“BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! DO NOOOOOT MOVE HERE. THESE APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH BED BUGS on both sides (3600 Woodchase and 3620 Woochase) !!!!! The office staff changes every 3-6 months. The current property manager is BRAND new and has been with them less than 4 months and is still learning the property herself. I lived at Ashford Westchase for a year and a half and in that matter of time every office employee had been replaced at least twice. I know for a fact these apartments are so bad that they have had an office EMPLOYESS QUIT because they refused to enforce the ridiculous rules they had put in place. They told me from their own mouth that they did not agree with the things that the company was doing and that it was just not right. ROACHES were ALL over the place when I moved in and unknown to me bed bugs were there. Had to throw away brand new couch, several bean bags, and TWO mattress/box string sets clothes and more. Between myself and my friends our cars were towed more than 6 times! YOUR CAR WILL BE TOWED THE NIGHT YOUR VISITOR PARKING TAGS EXPIRE. They expect you to park on the outside so ladies, I hope you own a taser/gun/knife or at least got common sense. SOOOOOOOOO much MONEY and time WILL be wasted if you move here! They even resurfaced the tubs and sinks with regular PAINT! Started peeling second day, and when we complained all they did was scrape off excess chippinng paint!!! Which by the way my tub and sink in my restroom continued to peel up until I moved out. HOT WATER IS OFF as often as ONCE A WEEK, NO LESS THAN 2-3 TIMES A MONTH. All I'm saying is if you move here you will deal with incompetent office staff (you will know the proerty better than them), sub par living conditions, hot water issues, roaches (at least when you first move in for like two months), BED BUGS the ENTIRE time you live there(even after they "exterminate"), paper thin walls, ---- crazy towing, half azs maintenance patch jobs, and LIES (my ceiling fan in my room went out after my first 6 months, it turned out to be eletrical issue inside i guess with the wiring, well I was promised a new one and was told that the apartments had ordered it. MONTHS went by and no new fan which meant no bedroom light other than a bedside lamp. lol that is funny they really tried to play like a lamp on back order for a YEAR. Also before I signed my lease I was promised black appliances, which where white when I got in my apartment. BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS I HAVE SCARS LITERALLY FROM SHOULDER TO BACK TO LEG TO TOES AND EVEN MY FREAKING FINGERS AND KNUCKLES!!! EVERYWHERE I was bit by these bugs. I'm WARNING you do not waste your time energy effort and money!!!! Look at these reviews, and look how many say bed bugs, do you really think all of us know each other? or are lying? or just write bad reviews for the fun of it? UUUH NOO , but hey if you are into bed bugs and out of control towing policies (spent over $1000 in getting cars that were towed out) and throwing money down the drain by paying rent to get cold water then move into Ashford Westchase. It would be perfect for you. but otherwise stay FAR FAR AWAY. PS the gnats on the INSIDES of the apartments are CRAZZZZYYYYYY for NO reason what so ever, so be ready to share you apartment with those too.”

“I don't understand why people don't like to live at a place where all the policies are implemented for our safety and good living. I just renewed for another year and worth paying $725. Everytime time I go to the leasing office the girls are always happy and smiling. People if you don't like it here, MOVE OUT! I LOVE IT!!!”

“DO NOT MOVE HERE! The office does care about anyone at all and the place had so many roaches it's ridiculous. I have been here for almost 3 years and at least once a month the sewers back up so feces and urine will be outside my door and it takes them forever to clean it. Instead of being assigned parking you have to pay 25 every dollars a month or if you want to park under a carport it's going to be 10 dollars more. They will put notices on you door saying you're going to be evicted for 10 dollars and they give you 3 days then when you go to the office they are rude and say the system is slow. They always do patch jobs, but can ride around the complex on carts ( as if it's that big in the first place). Also everything is so old and in one of my rooms there are literally sparks that come out of the socket!”

“run the new property manager has a preference with various races .Watch your account they always claim you owe and charges fees on top of fees . if you owe $10 it will go on until you pay it. The water is out at least twice a week . The pipes are old and they don't want to replace .. The area convient and I feel sorry for parking fees and they are quick to tow.”

“**DONT MOVE HERE**absoultely hate these apartments i have lived here for 8 months the plumbing is constantly shut off, its infested with roaches and there is always noise from maintnence fixing new apartments but not the ones people live in ,they fixed the pipes in my apartment over 4 months ago and have left a giant patch in the ceiling thats un painted. the maintnence people dont speak english.and just yesterday a damn mushroom grew out of my closet if you go to these apartments now they have 6 citings from the health department to fix issues...Also the front office ladies who also barely speak english like to threaten there tenants for making complaints by claiming people who arent on the lease live there.one more thing they have a nasty swimming pool and none of the laundry machines ever work... please stay away from this place the leasing agents are not understanding at all and think theyre intelligent because they were lucky enough to work in an office for some crappy apartments that are comparable to the projects”

“No one should half to pay almost 1100$ in rent and have your apartment infested with bed bugs. Since living here for a year I have seen almost 30 cars towed away. No one renews there lease here”

“My niece lives at this property and have been staying there for almost 1 year now. The management and staff have been replaced and no one knows where rent payments have gone. Another note is the new Manager have put a "parking policy in place" that says do not park in the front office parking spots during business hours, but you can park there after business hours. Now when my niece woke up her car was towed. Due to the office opening up that morning. Now I think the $225.00 that I had to pay was a rip off and them and the tow company are working together to pocket money on tenants. I think something needs to be done and I will be persueing more actions.”

“I am so happy that I am away from these apartments. I would never recommend no one to stay here. First of all they take for ever to fix stuff, they watch every step u move or make like u can't have company come to your house. I really felt like I was in a daycare . As long as I been staying on my own I never had a problem until I moved to the apartments. These apartments are not worth it at all!! And the parking is all screwed up as well. They real need new maintanance, new workers, and new management!”

“Please DO NOT MOVE HERE!... its infested with BED BUGS... although the manager is trying to get rid of them I can tell you that the problem is still here. That I know of their is at LeaSt 15 apartments that are infested and some tenants refuse treatment.. Bed bugs travel from apartment to apartment so the problem will only get worse. I have had a bed bug problem for 2 months and I just moved 3months ago.. I just want to warn anyone who is trying to move here.....save yourself the trouble. I cannot sleep at night thinking bed bugs are crawling on my body and on my son. This issue is very hard to get rid of and it will cost me hundreds of dollars. Please reconsider moving to these apartments it will only set you.”

“It has been roughly three months since I moved in to the apartment complex. This is my first time moving into an apartment and I compliment the staff. They were extremely helpful and kind. They were extremely knowledgeable and made sure everything was set in stone and moving in was a charm. Granted that I'm a simple person, I have almost nothing to complain about. I had the AC unit go out third week in, but it was immediately fixed. Yes most if the walls and tub are painted over and the counter tops are a bit cheap looking, but they serve their purpose so why complain? There is usually a security guard on duty and the community is gated. I always hear children playing outside which is always nice since it proves that the place is pretty safe. The gym facility is nice and decently well kept. The pool and landscaping is quite beautiful and I have seen many of the staff keep it clean and enjoyable. I can honestly say I am quite satisfied with my stay and I don't mind renewing my lease with Ashford in the future.”

“Well after staying here for 4 months now i really dont see what theses reviews are about. We live in a very nice neighborhood that is in the center of everything if you look at it. the property is a older property but it has been well kept. I moved with no hassel and have not seen any type of roaches or bed bugs. I believe its on how you live and keep your apt clean or not. The swimming pool is right behind the office and has been cleaned from what i see. I love staying here the staff is very nice since the 1st day i came in. Hopefully this helps. I like the that they have the gaurds not only at the gate but also around the property.”

“For the most part the neighborhood is awesome. The complex is section 8 friendly and on the side where the security booth is located is quiet and in order. Most of the folks here mind their own business and most go to work everyday. The noise is heightened due to kids are out for the Summer. When I arrived just months ago, I thought there would be a pool and hot tub; it's out of order and green water is present. From day 1 I've complained about my wall-paint painted tub, roaches and non-operable stove. The manager isn't ever available when I'm off from work on Saturdays so their excuse to glazing the tub is "the managers' call". After 2 months of showers maintenance arrived to once again mess the tub again. The paint is sticking to everything and is beginning to peel again. This apartment complex is not a horrible place to live but the management team should be replaced. The rent is very cheap for this area but I know this will be my first and last year here. Hope this review helps.”
