“I stop by last week to tour the property. Property is very quiet and well kept. Keiera was very professional and friendly. Outstanding customer service. She answered every question and concern I had. I would definitely recommend this property.”

“This apartment complex is great. It’s close to willowbrook mall and have plenty of food and entertainment shops. Management is so attentive and maintenance is quick, the minor issue I had was resolved in less then hour which shows appreciation to tenants. The apartment is spacious with renovated appliances and decor which look great! My favorite part is coming home to peace and quiet after long work days. I’m in love with the people, apartment and location, I highly recommend moving here.”

“Please, if you’re looking to possibly move here, read this first. Run as far and as quickly as you can from this complex. We didn’t even get to finish our lease because of a giant list of horrific issues, not limited to: leaky shower, water being turned off practically daily for “renovations”, when there was water it was never hot, MY CAR WAS STOLEN right out the lot (and the supposed cameras are non-existent), a wasp infestation that we called them about repeatedly. We were vacuuming up live wasps throughout thanksgiving and Christmas, 3-5 a DAY, and the pest control person somehow came 3 different times without doing anything useful until the last time. Finally, as we’re moving out, they replaced the toilets in the bathrooms and the water in mine wouldn’t stop running. I put in 3 different repair requests, because each time they said it was fixed, I’d come home and could still hear it running as soon as I walked in the door. When we moved out it still wasn’t fixed. And the owners have the ACTUAL AUDACITY to raise the rent on this garbage fire of an apartment complex!! It wasn’t worth the rent we were paying in the first place! I hope if any prospective tenants see this you take my advice and avoid this place like the plague.”

“I would like to thank Yaritzy for her communication with me throughout the acceptance process. I was originally scheduled to tour the apartment the Tuesday after Memorial Day but I called Sunday afternoon to see if I was able to view it that day since I seen the office was open. She accommodated the switch and said she stops showing at 4, we made it there around 3:45 and she was very professional. She answered all our questions and didn’t rush the tour. We can’t wait to officially move in next month and become apart of the Abbey at Willowbrook family.”

Signing all documents electronically made things go smoothly and I was able to easily save files for my records instead of keeping up with paper forms.”

He is a very hard worker and he is the only one that I request to come because he is in and out and knows exactly what the problem is just by me telling him what’s going on. They make you feel comfortable and make sure they do whatever they have to do to meet your needs. I’m so happy I picked this apartment I’m very happy here. I love everything about it!!! “My family and My brother and his family applied for these apartments, prior to applying we informed both Shoronda and Rosa that we were hurricne Ida evacuees and that we were living in a hotel nearby. We also explained to them prior to paying a total of $250 ($125 for both myself and my husband) what our employment and residential verification circumstances were. We ALL ( including my brother and his wife) had verifiable work history and rental history verification and were planning to hear an answer of approval/ Denial on Monday September 27,2021 as promised on Thursday September 23, 2021 when we were still encouraged to apply after being TRANSPARENT about our current circumstances. Upon applying we arranged and paid deposits on Movinhh companies to assist with moving on the Move-In date of Oct. 1, 2021 just to make sure we had things in order before driving back to New Orleans and salvaging what is left of our things due to the high demand of moving companies per the hurricanes aftermath. They assured us that we would have an answer by Monday so that we dont spend any unnecessay money that we already have to spare because of our transition OBVIOUSLY....Nevertheless We waited for someone from the office at the ABBY at Willowbook from open until about 3p.m. when I decided to drive over there to inquire about the decision. Upon arrival Rosa first said that she had "faxed" my husbands employment verification then when we contacted my husbsnds employer we were informed that she emailed HR that morning and claimed she never heard anything from them and when we called HR said they responded as soon as the "email" was received, however Rosa said they didnt respond. Secondly, after putting my correct emplyment information into the online application Rosa said that Shoronda sent my employment verification to my employer and when I asked what number were they calling it was a number from a company that I dont even work at and I put the correct employment information on the app. LONG STORY SHORT THE OFFICE STAFF IS SCAMMING PEOPLE OUT OF THEIR MONEY ASKING FOR ROUTING AND CHECKING INFORMATION TO PAY THAT FEE 0F $125 PER PERSON-ONLY TO FALSY DENY YOU WITHOUT NOTICE AND WHEN ASKING FOR YOUR MONEY BACK THEY TELL YOU THAT THEY CAN ONLY REFUND HALF OF YOUR MONEY BACK - NOT THE WAY YOU ORIGINALLY SENT IT....YOU HAVE TO WAIT UP TO 2 WEEKS TO GET IT BACK IN A CHECK AS IF WE HAVE'NT LOSS ENOUGH AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE HURRICANE....HEARTLESS SCAMMERS......OH AND THEY DID THE EXACT SAME THING TO MY BROTHER AND HIS WIFE SENDING EMPLOYMENT VERIFICATIONS TO THE WRONG PEOPLE JUST TO DENY YOU. THEN THEY DONT EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO FOLLOW-UP WITH AN UPDATE IF YOU DONT INQUIRE YOUSELF.....AFTER THEY HAVE TAKEN YOUR APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE...AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY THE SUDDENLY HAVE A LACK OF COMMUNICATION BUT BEFORE RECEIVING YOUR MONEY THEU ARE RESPONSIVE. TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE DISADVANTAGED-HORRIBLE......”

“I have had the absolute best experience moving here. At first it was a struggle finding the right place but this was perfect for me. I highly recommend Yaritzy! She graciously helped me through this process with ease. Great communication and very professional. I really appreciate her. Even after I changed my floor plan about 3 times prior to moving do to my own indecisiveness. Thankfully she was very patient and pleasant with me. The staff is amazing and I really look forward to my stay at the Abbey. ??”

“I wanted to take a minute and share my experience at my apartment complex. The Abbey of Willowbrook. I have lived here for two years. Shaundra Bolden, Property Manager. Does try to work with me, I am not a problematic tenant. I am just a tenant who likes things to be repaired upon request. Shaundra and her staff have never let me down. They get the job done. Recently, out of nowhere, I had a Roach problem. I am not a nasty person, and I'm not too fond of bugs of any kind. This problem was not caused by myself or due to the upkeep of the property. They come every Tuesday like cook work to exterminate. Never the less it became a fight for survival. After four weeks in a row of professional extermination and I was spraying every morning and night. Shaundra has arranged without blinking an eye to having my apartment fumigated. I want it to be known if you have a problem, talk to the team. They will take care of the problem to the best of their ability. As a side note, if you show yourself Friendly, you will make friends. I don't hang out in anyone's house, but I can say we have fantastic, open conversations. I am happy at the stage of my life to reside-the Abbey of Willowbrook. If we had door to door trash pickup, that would be the icing on the cake.”

“i told them i wanted to move in on march 1st and i was like the middle of feb. so these ppl had plenty of time to clean and get everything together....so i moved in and it was a smell inside of my apt... first they didnt shampoo the carpet i can tell they didnt shampoo the floor all they did was just vacum the floor and put the lines in the floor they didnt do ---- i had to rent me a shampoo machine and do it myself all that dirt came up!!!!!!!!! then i my a-c didnt work it was just too much by me just moving in they needed to have that ---- fixed right before u have ppl moveing in...sec. i wanted a sec floor they told me they didnt have a sec floor avaliable they had 1st for a one bdrm..these ppl just put me and my bf anywhere they wanted...its a shame bugs always at the door the man upsairs walk so hard i be thinking he gone fall right threw the ceiling..but other than that i will NOT BE RENEWING MY LEASE!!!FU@K THAT!!!!!!!”

“there is a lot of drug trafficking and when your things are messed up they take maintenance takes forever.....my mailbox was wide open and broken for days and my air went out while we were having over 100 degree weather”

“list of reasons not to move here and this is the park that I am referring to: 1. balcony that is going to collapse 2. balcony being propped up by 2 by 4 3. tree that they will probally never get rid of 4. they said that gate would be fixed in 06...still broken 5. gate been broken since 03 6. they give you the run around. 7. the maintenece men goff off at there shed. 8. air conditioners that have green stuff growing out of them 9. pipes with same green stuff growing 10. the maintenece men lie 11. they know your rights as a renter and if you don't know them they will take advantage of you.”

“I like living here for a few reasons only , it is close to everything and being at home all day with no car, i can take my kids out for a nice walk to the store, or even go out to eat. I have lived here for a while and have had lots of problems...1) the roaches are real bad here and they never send someone to clear up the problem.2)I have had my my car vandalized, and robed multiple times, on top of that my friends and neighbors have had the same problem.3) a health hazard, they cover up mold with paint, and I have had my apt flood and so has my neighbor from plummage leaks.4) the police are ALWAYS here.5) drug dealers and drug addicts walk around all night selling dope. there is always somthing wrong and the problems NEVER get fixed. The staff on the other hand are very nice and it seems that they try atleast. If I could afford to move I would, rent is at a reasonable price, but I guess you get what you pay for....”

“They towed my vehicle because I parked over a line. No warnings you just get towed. They are in league with a towing company and evidently making a lot of money off of people who can't afford to fight back. These people are scum and care about only one thing and customer service is not it. They have never sprayed for bugs. My air conditioner doesn't work right. I had to call them on a hot weekend because of the AC. They never even called me back as a courtesy to say when they could get here, or if they could make it at all!!! As I am writing this paragraph, I have waited 6 hours after placing 2 emergency calls. Which is leaving a message after waiting forever to get through their "emergency" process. No call backs, no visit from maintenance and I am just sitting here sweating after 6 hours of waiting so far!!!!!!!! This is how they treat emergencies?????? I can't wait for my lease to expire! This is the worst managed apartments I have ever lived. My front door frame is cracked from someone trying to break in. Still not fixed. Its not a "priority" for them. They don't care about your safety. But God forbid you should be one day late on your rent. Then suddenly you hear from everyone! They make me sick.”

“Me and my husband have been living here for sometime now we moved in back in 2006. We were looking to save some money being that the place is very affordable at the time of move-in the managment was going through some changes in staff. the new personal took over with a whole new staff and managment when I first heard of this I was freaked out not knowing what to think... When I went in the next month to take care of my rent I meet the new staff members and to my suprise was very pleasent I put in some work orders from my apartment that needed attention and they took care of it right away. Ever since they have taken over it seems that things have alway been runing smoothly I have no complians to say about this community they have always been really friendly towards me and my family.overall there parking is awsome there is always some where to park I dont have to worrie about coming home and not finding a place to park or my apartment broken into so I say yes I recommend them 100% and you could also save you some money while you at it... My family and I enjoy our stay here at One Willow Chase and Park Apartments not everything you see on here is true most of the time the people that dont pay there rent and get kicked out are the ones who are on here talking crap.”

“I lived here from September 2008 to March 2009. The place was so horrible my husband and I had to break our lease. We first lived on the One Willow Chase side and had horrible water issues. The water was either too cold or extremely hot. Most times it was too hot and I couldn't even give my newborn baby a bath! After a few months they offered to move us to the One Willow Park side which was where we should've been originally. The same day we started moving our stuff in the guest bathroom flooded and flooded every single day until the day we moved out. We had to call maintenance every day to have them vacuum up the water. The water leak was so big that it spreaded to the closet in my sons bedroom and into the dining room. Some times the maintenance workers didn't even bother showing up and that left us with a very, very wet carpet. One day we came home and realized that mold was growing in the bathroom and that's when we decided to leave that place. We left and stayed with family for a week and came back to get our stuff. We thought we'd come back to find a clean bathroom but nope! The water was either never vacuumed or it had flooded again and was left there. There was a hole in the ceiling and the mirror had fallen down from the wall and was left on the ground shattered everywhere. Mold everywhere. It was disgusting and a hazard. On top of that, roaches where everywhere. Even with an exterminator! All in all, I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. The manager was a complete joke and so were the other staff members. And the maintenance crew! So, renters BEWARE! The place is cheap but also remember that you get what you pay for. You pay little, you get little.”

“I really believe that Management is doing an excellent job. The grounds are kept clear and clean . I don't see Junk cars and Loitering. Those who do not respect a clean safe environment and want to violate their lease are the ones who seem to have a problem with Miss Hicks. I've seen a tremendous difference since she's been there. I would rather have someone who is active and visible in the community than someone who is not either of the 2. I applaud Miss Hicks in all of her efforts and some things speak for themselves. I'm writing these things because I've lived on other properties and Management did not seem to care as much as Management does here.”

It's people like those of name calling and pointing the finger that most likely do not pay their rent, make false accusations against office staff. You know who you are you are -the low life!!!!!!!The SATFF ARE NICE AND FUNNY, I LOVE LIVING HERE except for the nasty low life scum bags that are still living here.”

“this apartment complex will screw you over every chase that they get.. they will try to get you out just cause they dont like you.. one of the ppl that work buys crack off a guy in there and ppl she dont get it from she doesnt want to live there.. dont live there... and when i went to move in my apartment was broken into.. i had to get another apartment and within the first week my car was broken into 4 times...”

“Place is a joke and a hell-hole. There was one user that said "I love leaving here!" Yeah I did too...best move I ever made. As far as someone saying people probably brought the crime and roaches with them...I highly doubt that. Seeing as how I had NO roaches before or after I left and the fact that my upstairs neighbors quite often smoked pot - and a guy that moved in AFTER we did - drove home drunk one day an SMASHED our truck to hell, then pretended he didn't do it. Once we got the police involved SURPRISE - drunk driver cheated on his wife and had multiple warrants out for his arrest. I thought the "STAFF" said they checked for these things...OH that's right he's not even on the lease. Not to mention - the crackheads that lived across the way that kept coming over asking if we needed any coke (and I'm not talking beverages). This place is a ---- hole - don't even stop to look.”

“I have lived at One Willow Chase for 6 months the mgmt staff always meets my needs and there resident service program has helped me out alot, The flu shots school supplies spring break lunches and bus tokens and my friends at One Willow Park so don't always believe what you read they probably brought the roaches or crime with them”

“I've been at this property for over three nows and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Yes, there is always new staff in and out which has caused a few complications but they have never been rude. Everyone wants to complain about stuff not getting fixed or them never having any money for anything, well, PAY YOUR DARN RENT ON TIME IN FULL and you wouldn't have that problem, idiots. I've payed my rent on time everytime and to this day if I have an issue it is always fixed. Half the low lifes who have started to tear this property apart with their ------ children live off our tax money anyways so stop complaining. A hint of adive: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR, and if you don't pay at all, then what can you possibly expect??”

Honestly, who can expect to have something done for them when they aren't even paying for the place!! I have been living here for five years AND I LOVE IT!!! Don't call or come in the office with a ------ attitude and maybe someone will actually want to help you. Everytime I ask for help the staff is always willing to do their best. Considering the low rent rates, this property is a haven for anyone wanting to live in a nice apartment for a low amount. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.”

But I honestly think that the management has a lot to do with it. Don't ever expect anything to get fixed!! They might tell you that they are going to fix it but it never gets done.”

“I have lived at One Willow Chase for 4 years. I have seen a revolving door of managers and bookkeepers. In 2006 the office staff was wonderful. Miss Ann and Miss Brianna always seemed ready and willing to help. since they left it has gone down hill. New bookkeepers stealing money. Things never get fixed. Office staff lies to your face when you know things will never get fixed. I have requested every week for the last 6 weeks to have my apartment sprayed for roaches...Havent seen them yet.”

“I agree with alot of what the tenants are saying. The office staff here is totally a joke. The are not helpful at all and they almost always act as if you are bothering them. Every time they switch employees, I get a notice that my rent is late which is not true. As often as they change emloyees, that can become aggravating. The water temperature is not right and has not been for at least the past 4 months. Repairs have to be reported multiple times before anyone comes over and then they try their best to rig it up instead of doing it right to keep from coming back. Car breakin are a big thing now. And they have a pest problem, roaches and ants. These apartments are not half and nice as they were when i moved in nor is the staff, except for maintenance. And they do go through maintenance alot which makes one wonder why.”

“I actually live in One Willow Park with is next door and run by the same HORRIBLE management. We moved into this complex in early 2006 beacus ethe rent was cheap and din't look too bad. HAHAHA I wish we would have kept looking. There is a roach/ant problem, the maintence is very slow, and the a/c units are very old. There is no reason why our electric bill should be almost $400 in a 2/2 apt when it's kept on 77. The manager is very rude and nasty and will lie on you when you try to move out. They say the exterminator comes once a week, but I had yet to see one, until I called the apartment counsel. If you can afford more money for rent then spend it and don't move here, you will regret it if you do. We are delighted to move out next month.”

“I have lived at one willow chase since 8/03 and the Office people are horrible! They never exterminate! I have roaches everywhere, even keeping my place clean! They were going to get me a "new" door for my landuary room, YEAH that was about ONE YEAR AND 6 MONTHS AGO! I'm still without a DOOR! I have blanet hanging there! My facuets in my bathrooms and kitchen are leaking and they haven't fixed it it's been already 3 MONTHS like that! The SECURITY AT THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! The gates that are supposed to keep it secure! Yeah RIGHT! THE GATES DON'T WORK! Now they've just plainly TAKEN THEM OFF COMPLETELY! And all my Neighbors including MYSELF have been robed in our cars at least once a month! That's no joke! We all have been robed at with our cars!”

“I have lived in One Willow Place Apartments for a year now and it has been pure hell. I can not get maint. to fix my dryer plug in my washroom. I have not been able to dry clothes at home for the past 6 months. The pipes are REALLY loud and groan when my downstairs neighbor turns the water on in the bath tub. The noise scares me every time. Since living here, we have had a problem with the water 4 times. Most times we had no hot water. This was during cold months. The longest we went without hot water was 3 days. Most times the dumpsters are overflowing with trash for several days at a time. My neighbors are great, but the management sucks!!”

“I stay inb one willow park apartments and have been here since April 2006. I still dont have my kitchen light working properly, teh stove is still broken (the nback burners), and they have a serious ant problem. They have been promising and promising to send terminix out to spray the apartments, but they never showed up. They dont repair the apartments in efficient time. in the heat of the summer my air conditioner stopped working and it took them almost 2 weeks to fix teh air. They are constantly having problems with the water. The hot water is turned off at least once every month due to this old --- boiler system they use. They dont pay their water bills therefore teh water has been shut off numerous times. They cant keep maintanence men because they dont know how to talk to their employees. I've heard the head manager Shirley yelling at this one maintanence guy while I was standing in the office which is very rude and unethical. You do not scold your employers in fron t of mixed company. They dont keep up with their records. Their book keeping is horrible. They kept putting notices on my door stating that I owed money that I didnt owe. I finally contacted the head manager and she tells me that she didnt see where I renewed my lease and that I was being charged month-to-month. Mind you it is now Jan. 2007 and I renewed in Oct. 2006 (the biggest mistake I ever made). The community is just shot to hell and I dont recommend this ---- to anybody!”
