“I really enjoyed living at The Abbey at Barker Cypress it is so close to my job. I am getting married and he has a home is the only reason I have moved. All of the maintenance guys are so fast. Jeanette is so sweet and always makes you feel welcome. Thank you for 2 1/2 years!”

“We've lived here for more than 5 months. It is such a nice, clean, and welcoming place. The experience is outstanding, thanks to the ladies Jeannette, Nan, and Stephanie. It's our first time moving to an apartment in rush, I was a bit stressed out but Stephanie'd made the application process very straightforward and efficient. She's an incredibly nice and helpful person, whenever I have questions or need to get something fixed. Jeannette is professional and always greets us with a big warm smile. She's very friendly and gives out useful tips. Her goal is to make us feel like home. She cares about the people who live here and even cares about my puppy! Nan has always been so kind and helpful, whenever we visit the office and have questions. She is also incredibly patient and calm. She took her time to break down the details on my bills and explain them to me. They also have some monthly events or special occasions for all of us to get together with free foods and nice treats. The only thing I think would be nice to have (my suggestion) is maybe a weekly trash pick-up service, so I don't have to bring big bag(s) of trash to the dumpster since we're on the third floor. I would highly recommend the Abbey and their management team! We'll definitely renew our contract for another year.”

“I haven't had any issues with this apartment complex. The staff is always super nice when I have to go pick up packages, the maintenance people are always very speedy and polite. We did have an issue where several cars got broken into, but it was a one-time thing and we leased garages to prevent future occurrences. The apartment manager, Jeanette, has always been SUPER accommodating with us and the schedule changes I have with school. We once terminated our lease since we thought we were moving, but it fell through, and Jeanette really helped us out by simply renewing our lease, no problem. She also was able to extend our lease by a few months for when we DO actually have to move. Overall, really nice place to live.”

“I'm not typically a review writer unless I am blown away by the business. My husband and I just moved here recently, and have really enjoyed it. We were nervous at first due to some of the previous reviews we had read. Honestly, the maintenance, the atmosphere, and amenities are so great here especially in comparison to price. We have a little one, and seeing her be so happy with all the little kiddos here as well as the friendly staff has been so encouraging!! We love our place, and when we need anything fixed we know it will be. They really go the extra mile here in service quality.”

“From the moment we met with Jeanette and viewed the property, we knew right away this was our new home. The staff is amazing as well as the friendly neighbors. Unfortunately we outgrew our apartment, but if I ever decide to downsize in the future, I would definitely come back! It's like one big family and that is what I love the most about this property! “I recently visited this property while looking for my next new home for this coming summer. Everyone there was so nice and helpful that I cannot wait to move in. The new upgraded units are amazing but I love the color schemes in the 2nd floor units. When I am ready to finalize everything, they will definitely be where I call home next.”

“I love living here because it feels like a community. Last summer they planted a garden and we could go and pick what we needed. I hope they do okra again. The maintenance guys are always helpful and quick. I love going to the office to get my packages, the girls are so sweet. I really enjoy the parties, especially the chocolate fountain. “I have been living here for almost a year and I absolutely love it! There is plenty of green space for my dogs, the apartment is quiet and well maintained and the office staff goes above and beyond to create a community feel. In the year I have been here I have only had to put in one maintenance request. The need was minor, and it was attended to within a day. Jeannette, the property manager, knows her residents by name and creates a welcoming, safe apartment community. I am so glad I found The Abbey at Barker Cypress!!”

“I STAYED HERE FOR A YEAR .THIS WAS BY FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER FOR ME .JEANNETE BUECHEL(office manager) MADE THIS EXPERIENCE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE REGRETFUL...EVERYTIME I LOOKED UP THERE WAS AN ARTIFICIAL PROBLEM.I ALWAYS DID A SELF CHECK TO MAKE SURE I WASN'T REALLY CAUSING ANY PROBLEMS ,BUT I WAS ALWAYS RESPECTFUL TO HER ,MY APARTMENT AND NEIGHBORS AFTER SO MANY SELF CHECKS I CAME TO REALIZATION JEANNETE BUECHEL IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL,PREJUDICE AND MISERABLE..I MOVED AWAY AS SOON AS MY LEASE WAS UP AND WOULDNT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE EVER..”

“I have been here three times to view this property and haven't seen apartment yet. The community closes at 530pm the supposed to stop doing tours at 5pm I get here between 445-450 each time due to my work schedule and can get a tour”

“I recently visited this community in hopes to move in but a job opportunity took me elsewhere. The property was very clean and quiet. I looked at both the newly renovated units and the older style. They are both amazing units but the upgrades done on the first floor units are great. I really loved the side by side refrigerators and gray color schemes. The staff there was great and so nice, I can see why all of the other reviews on here are positive. If by chance I ever get to move back to that area, they will definetly be my choice.”

“I love this community because the apartment was so beautiful on the inside and the grounds were so well maintained. They have a basketball court, a work out facility, a pool, and a movie theater. The management is so nice and helpful. Love it!”

“I've been living here since march 2017 and i absolutely love my home!!! The neighbors here are great and so sweet, maintenance is ALWAYS prompt, grounds are kept spotless, and not to mention staff is great and is always there to answer any question you have!! Mrs. Janette helped my move go so smoothly and always has a smile on her face, she truly is a GEM. If you are looking for a place to call your home this is definitely it!!”

“I have been staying here for about 2 months now on a 16month lease with last 2 months free. First off when they give you your walk thru they show you the best apartment of no issues of course. The apartment we ended up with has a ton of issues. Some of the light bulbs were out all through the apartment. The drawers in the kitchen didn't open all the way due to the construction. The dryer took forever to dry. All these things needed repair and didn't get addressed right away. Took multiple efforts including emails and face to face complaints. After one month of living here more than 20 vehicles were vandalized including mine. I filed a report with the police. Police said this was a very rare occurrence. And they would look into after dusting my car for finger prince. I went to management to see how they would be rectifying the situation and they said unfortunately I park at my own risk and it would up to me. I asked them about security and they said they have one guy that patrols the premises randomly and apparently he wasn't out there or didn't hear anything when this was going on. Im currently having a major issue with ants in the apartment. They are everywhere. I emailed them about it and told someone face to face. I was assured that someone would look into it this week. Its been almost 2 weeks when I was told it will be addressed.”

“The property is very well-maintained the staff and maintenance very friendly. I love the hardwood floors on the third floor. I love how close we are to I 10. Can you school district is great !! The new landscaping is beautiful and they just painted property and I have a new air-conditioning unit !!!!”

“We just moved in on Tuesday but so far we are loving it! I did a lot of research on other apartments and went to 11 different complexes before coming here. The manager, Jeanette, really made my choice easy! She has been more than helpful and extremely patient with me while trying to move down from Tennessee. My 9 year old told me that because of her, this was the place he wanted to call "home"! She has gone above and beyond for us since this all started by researching telephone numbers and addresses I might need to make my move and stay easier. These were not numbers and addresses you typically need and she has on hand to give new renters, these were things I needed for my personal use. I could have done the research myself but she took the time to do it for me just to be helpful. Moving from another state can really take its toll on you and it definitely took its toll on me yesterday. I went in to the office and was already in tears. Jeanette stopped what she was doing, got up and gave me the hug I needed and the assurance that everything would be OK. The grounds are well kept and my apartment is perfect! In an apartment you can always hear your neighbors but I can tell you right now I've not heard a sound out of mine at all. Maybe I just got lucky with the ones I have but it sure is nice. The staff here is very friendly. They offer free cable and Wi-Fi and they do not charge pet rent which is unheard of with any of the other apartments around here who want to nickel and dime you for every little thing. I hope this review helps someone out there choose this as their new home because it really is so nice here. I'll update in a few months. Thanks!”

“I lived at the Abbey at Barker Cypress for 2 years. My experience there was beyond perfect from the day I came in to look at the property. I met Jeannette B. the properties Leasing Manager. She greeted me with one of the most uplifting positive sweet and kind personalities I had ever met. She listened to my needs and she delivered exactly what I was looking for. Jeanette takes great pride in her property making sure her tenants come first. She's always making sure the grounds are perfectly landscaped and the front office is pristine. She throws fun get togethers for the tenants as well as having a food truck come to the property. The pool is wonderful and always clean. My experience at the Abbey Barker Cypress was wonderful. The only reason I had to move was because my job relocated to the other side of Houston and the drive was too far any more. I would recommend this apartment complex to my closest friends and family.”
