“The manager here Claudia Melanie has been having an affair with my husband. I tried speaking to her woman to woman to get to the bottom of it but she refuses. She is married herself and obviously is a -----. She has been calling my husband at different hours of the day, on the weekends, after work, during work. These calls ranged from 40-45 minutes. Me and my husband are now divorcing over this situation. This piece of trash is a home wrecker and it needs to known. I know my husband was in the wrong too for continuing whatever they had going on but I couldn’t help to see 90 percent of the calls were from her to him. They met here at sago from her working here. I have all the receipts and printed call logs from our phone company of her calling my husband randomly including the weekends. Even after confronting her on the phone to find out who she was, she called my husband right after. She doesn’t have nothing to say about it but continues to want to speak with a married man. This really can’t be real, far from ethical especially trying to represent this apartment complex. If anyone would like to contact me I can send all the receipts over”

“I hate this place.!!! The first mouth was ok.!!!! But after that all down from there.!!! The water here gets turn off every other week for hours without letting us know!!!! Not once have they gave us a heads up.!!!!!! I let them know we have rats nothing was done I had to go to the store and get my own supplies!!! 4 rats in two days !!!!!!!!”

“This is definitely not for the weak hearted, byt it is what it is. I needed something quick and they let me in with no hassle and an excellent down payment almost nothing. Im grateful and thankful. The apartment was great I had nothing broken and everything worked and at the last few months my ac went out for like an hour and maintainence fixed it immediately. The apartment staff was anazing the office ladies were down to earth and realistic with me. Very kind and understanding with money situations. Now the neighborhood surrounding it there isnt much that can be done there if the community cant work together to help. Everywhere in the world cant be perfect, but the office personnel tried and are trying to clean things up in the community which I saw. Thank you very much for caring and doing all yoh can.”

“There has only been ONE killing since I moved in MONTHS ago. The good news is, when I call to have a service request to fix or repair....... They will not answer or tell me that it is done but have no record of doing it. These places are not bad if you like no up keep, problems that go on, and people that don't really care about your well being. And trust me, I pay my rent on time, a little spider problem (no bugs or rats), and broke utilities that will not get replaced or no concerns. I love it when I make it home from work and you have 40oz bottles of beer laying around with bags of chips and pizza boxes laying on the ground. It helps the mice feed on and gives your kids a reason to go to the hospital. I love it....”

“I been living in these apts 4 months and I've experienced numerous of roaches, mice and bedbugs.. Now the office is saying I have to pay for treatments to get rid of the bedbugs.. This is bs..I have no furniture, beds nothing and I keep my place clean,so how the hell I get bedbugs.i can't sleep I'm suffering from severe anxiety.. My only option is to break my lease, I will not pay for a place where I don't feel comfortable.. I'm considering reaching out to Emily akin.. Slumlord's own this property please do not move over here..”

“karen and sandra are both RACIST... black people bring bedbugs & the security guard Melvin like to harass the residence. Karen said the landlord Claro vinuevo told her to erase the cockroaches meaning the black people. I have no water AC for 4 months , I have a hole in my bathroom that leaked into my tub the maintenance man put a box over it. I don't understand why the state is not doing anything and why are they letting these people do what they are doing.”

“All of the office staff is rude and racist and the cuss out the residents.these apartment have plenty of roaches rats and bedbugs and then karen and sandra said black people bring bedbugs and the security guard like fight and jumping on the young people who live in the apartment.and they have wild dogs running around and the staff will lie on the residents to cover they --- and they love to see when the black people go to jail and they manager will lie on black peron and say they hit her just to see some one go to jail and plus when I was in the office she made song singing black people have bedbugs and karen like to tell about people disability and the maintenance people go in residents apartment when they not at home stealing rhe residents food these apartment are just nasty the only thing these apartment carry is a pretty name.karen is very rude to residents her and her boss sandra teresa say she not like that but if she not like that why she join in laughing when the karen and sandra talking about the residents and if teresa is search a good person why she allows the security guard assault my son and watch him threw my son and watch him bleed this security guard is wild and danger he attact my son for no reason at all and thank god it was a witness video the whole thing and 15-20 witness was there if teresa is not like that why she will not report it to the owner and why he wouldn't come forward when the houston apartment associate was calling in if you are on housing you would be wasting your housing voucher on this property with all the bedbugs and rats coming in visting you at night and if you live a lone uou Will always have company at night wuth rats.”

“I was reluctant after reading the reviews to even look here, considering my price range I gave it a shot. I moved in 3 weeks ago and I must say the office staff is awesome. The manager came out of her office to greet me when I went to look. Teresa was so helpful. When I moved in my apartment they did a walk through with me to ensure everything was all done in my apartment. I love it here! It's clean and quiet and a great location. Goes to show don't believe everything you read. Awesome team.”

“PLEASE DON'T RENT FROM SAGO PALMS!! Staff is unprofessional. Rude & ignorant and work orders will be ignored. Random dogs roaming around. People hanging everywhere and don't care how they look or act. SAVE yourself time & money & find somewhere nice and safe.”

“These Apartment Are Horrible !!!! The Roaches And Mice/Rats Are Out Of Control . You Can Never Reach Anybody To Get Things Fixed . You Hear Gun Shots Every Night . I Wouldn't Recommend That Anyone Move Here . So Pissed That I Moved Here , Very Tempted To Break The Lease .”

“As soon as I moved in I knew this was not the place for me. I moved in and within 10 days they put a leter on my door saying i owed $325 idk what for. They were supossed to install a dishwasher a year later didnt get it. The neigbors told me they had moved someone out of my apt 3 days before i moved in . The A/C didnt work for a month in the hot summer. Dont have a door on my closet ,blinds missing on patio door. Window by my door has a whole in it with a wasp nest by it so i have wasp really badly. Women in the office have the up most WOST ATTITUDE ever. They talk to people like they are better than them. My mailbox doesnt close and when i talked to the office lady she said "that doesnt have anything to do with me".This is a bad negborhood men sit oitside selling drugs.Cops out all day becuse something has happened. The bus doesnt show up on time. The only thing i enjoyed was my neigbors they were welcoming and nice . I didnt get robbed suprisingly and my apartment was spacious”

“THE APTS NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN. THEY HAVE ROACHES AND RATS VERY BAD.RATS EATING THREW MY PERISHABLE ITEMS. IT WAS POINTLESS IN EVEN MAKING GROCERIES. NE W MANAGEMENT TRIED CLEANING UP BUT IT WAS WAY TOO LATE. THE STAFF IS VERY RUDE. THEY TRIED HIRING SECURITY OFFICERS BUT THAT MADE IT WORSE. I CAME HOME ONE NIGHT TO A SECURITY OFFICER HAVING A WOMAN PINNED DOWN TO THE GROUND WITH AN AK 47 IN HER FACE. I WAS LIKE REALLY WTF. YOU ARE SECURITY OFFICERS NOT HPD. THEN THE MANAGEMENT TRIED TO COMPLAIN ABOUT MY DOG & HIS BREED. TRIED CHARGING ME DAILY UNTIL I REMOVED THE PET WHEN CLEARLY I PAID A DEPOSIT WHEN THE OLD MANAGEMENT WAS THERE. NOT MY FAULT HE STOLE THE MONEY AND TOOK OFF. I TRIED ENDING MY LEASE EARLY BUT THE MANAGER DIDNT WANT ME TO.TRIED PAYING THE RE-LETTING FEE AND THE CRAZY MANAGER WAS LIKE NO WE DONT DO THAT HERE. SO I MOVED AND WITHOUT TELLING THEM AND THEM DUMP PEOPLE PUT AN EVICTION ON MY BACKGROUND. I HATE THESE APTS AND WISH I NEVER MOVED HERE.”

“Ever since the management changed, these apartments have really gone downhill. I have reported numerous issues that have yet to be fixed. Staff is extremely rude, unless you're a man or --------. I'm just counting down the days until my lease is up.”

“Office staff is nice , they don't answer the phone at all but if you go up there their friendly ! Zack talks a good game but is a huge procrastinator!! The MICE are horrible I've caught 8 alone because pest control no longer exist ! Not a good place for small children. However they will work with you to get you in. & if your late on your rent they work with you. But the mice !! Nope I can't deal with that !!”

“I moved here in Nov of 2013 and for the first six months it was horrible. I didn't have an ac that worked properly, my dishwasher wasn't connected to the water, my kitchen sink leaked, none of my light fixtures worked... the list goes on. However, once the new management came, it has gotten much better. They have renovated the outside and started picking up the parking lot trash daily. They also fixed the lights on the outside of the buildings. The only complaints I have is that the maintenance is still relatively slow but once you get them in your apartment and tell them the few things that are wrong they'll fix it right then and that the phone hardly ever gets answered. In order to talk with someone you'll have to go to the office. But other than that I enjoy living here. Chealse helped me get the major issues fixed in my apartment when she first came in and quickly! Just recently Zack made sure my ac was fixed in a day rather than waiting weeks like before. Also the staff always works with us (me and other residents) on rent. They are extremely understanding people and I couldn't be more grateful or pleased that they work here.”

“I lived here for a year and it's been the worst year of my life...I'm still waiting on my deposit refund and I've been moved out for almost 2 months. The new staff Chelsea, Dameria, and Chad need to be fired immediately. No one answers the phone during business hours, they've actually taken the phone off the hook so it's constantly busy. Brian, the actual owner of the complex needs to be evaluated for hiring this set of people. They are liars, inconsiderate, incompetent and I'd strongly recommend no one move here no matter how desperate they are. Maintenance is horrible; when they do come out to fix things it's usually just to hang out in your apartment and see how nice your things are. Yes, they steal. The pest control is disgusting; I've had 9 mice I had to catch myself in my apartment because maintenance wouldn't close up the entrances. Please if you don't have any other choice, make this place a hell no on your list of potential places to live unless you like to throw money to the wind.”

“Those good reviews are OBVIOUSLY from the management staff. Amazing they can do that but NOT answer the phone. Maintenance is HORRIBLE!!!!!! They take forever to do anything. I've been waiting a week for my ac unit to be fixed because it's low on Freon which take all but 10 mins to fix and it's been a week! You hardly ever reach anyone in the office. While they work with you on rent it doesn't make up for the poor maintenance. When I first moved in I had no ac unit at all... they finally installed it and it DIDN'T WORK! IT TOOK THEM 6 MONTHS TO COME OUT AND FIX IT!!!!!!! AND IT'S BROKEN TWICE SINCE THEN!! At point I've almost given up having something that actually works! My closet lights have been broken since I moved in and I've asked several times to get them fixed... I'm so frustrated with this place I just cry.”

“Sago Palms has made such improvement.. The security gates help keep my family safe... And the security guards are quick to respond to any call or noise.... The management is always full of smiles that brightens my day.... The maintenance is always quick to respond to any repairs that need to be done... I would recommend Sago Palms to anyone that is looking for a wonderful living experience...”

“I think Sago Palms is the best place to live the office people are friendly and help you any kind of way they canhere if you need help to get it right here I understand how the place used to be but now is remodeled and very nice they even install security ball they have security and they doing everything they can to help to make this a better place so don't knock it until you try come here visit and see what you get and I love sago palms and I have referral number of people here and they like it also and most of the time is not an apartment in is not the people work in apartment the people that living in the apartment that's making it on livable and most of the signal F holy s, just the ones that came today read that don't have the money to pay the rent and got put out that's why they're trying to make this apartment look or sound so bad but they're really not”

“The ABSOLUTE WORST place to live, I was trying to do the right thing, 19 years old living by myself and my apartment got robbed not once but twice and the damn office didn't give a ----, they let me out of my lease but the won't give me a final balance sheet to cover my ---, now they trying to say i owe them money , they can kiss my ---. i have called this place several times to clear my name, oh and not to mention they never answers the phone you have to call several times before anyone picks up the phone. It takes them a whole 2-5 weeks to come out and fix anything broke in your apartment, i froze in my apartment 4 times before i went up there and cussed someone out about my damn a/c unit. They have by far the worst management in America. I would NOT live here if i were you. It is cheap but do not waste you dignity and time on the place , take it from me.”

“HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE!!! There is no call box for visitors to be allowed in and out and the gate that barely works doesn't have a sensor on the front part and will start to close in on the vehicle. Trash everywhere!! A/C has been down for at least five days without anyone fixing it and have called several times..THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE FOR THIS..THIS IS HOUSTON!! Tons of potholes in the parking lot. Lots of Roaches. Drainage for the A/C has been routed to drip right into the second bathtub over your head as you are in the shower. Toilet flushes every other time due to lack of water pressure. Maintenance response and repairs are horrible. Dishwasher is not screwed into place and tips forward every time you open the bottom shelf. ------ is not even the beginning of how to describe this place!! I can't wait to move out of here!!”

“The WORST place to live!!!! Management is always adding new charges so when you think you've paid your rent, SURPRISE, they applied your rent to some charges you knew nothing about! Then they want to charge you late fees because when you thought you was paying your rent on time, they applied your rent to some other utility, now you still owe your rent and late fees! And that's just the tip of the iceberg.”
