“Living at Redwood has been an awesome experience Theeeeeee best office staff, maintenance and neighbors. They are quick and alert when I have, if I have a situation, and they genuinely care. The remodeled look, color and all, is amazing, love the playground for the kids to play. Thank you for having me a resident. I have referred my friend, she is now a resident here as well. I highly recommend Redwood Gardens.”

“Maintenance is always on time fixing what needs to be the office staff are the bomb I’ve lived in redwood for 1 year and 2 months ..safety is good cause we have security ..never seen nobody selling drugs or doing them outside ..quiet at night”

“I LIKE THESE APTS BEEN LIVING HERE FOR 3 YRS. BUT LATELY THERE HAS BEEN TOO MUCH TRAFFICING. SOMEONE IN MY BUILDING JUST RECENTLY MOVED IN AND TURNS OUT THEY ARE DEALING THERE. PARKING SUCKS ITS SMALL CARS DNT EVER PARK RIGHT OR VISITORS WITH NO PERMIT ARE PARKED THERE. NOISE IS SOMEWHAT OKAY IN THE AREA WHERE I LIVE WE ALL RESPECT EACH OTHER BUT SOME AREAS IS BAD. I THINK WE BADLY NEED SECURITY DUE TO ALL THIS DRUG DEALING. THE MAINTENANCE IS AWSOME HE COMES RIGHT AWAY TO FIX ANY REPORTS WE MAKE. THE OFFICE STAFF IS GREAT AS WELL A FEW PEOPLE GIVE THEM HELL ABOUT THINGS BUT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH THEY CAN DO BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO GET THINGS APPROVED BY SUPERVIDOR. BUT THEY ARE GREAT THEY ACTUALLY LISTEN TO ALL THE COMPLAINTS YOU HAVE AND TRY WORK IT OUT. THERE IS SO MUCH STRAY ANIMALS AROUND THE PROPERTY WHICH SUCKS. I REALLY HOPE WE GET SECURITY ON PROPERTY SOON BECAUSE ITS THE ONLY WAY ALL THIS DRUG PROBLEM WILL STOP.”

“Recently several times our personal mailbox has been broken into and its contents stolen. Thr staff has been notified but jas usual theu do nothing. My husbands income tax check was stolen from our mail box. And cashed illgally. We have reported it to local law the IRS and the FBI. I still cant believe this hapened. This area is getting worse by the day. I dont even feel sfe having guests overnight cause im scared to but them in danger. Drugs are also an issue. Just the other day I was outside and a women approched me begging me to pbuy pills from her. Stay away.....please....im moving soon.”

“Love this place!!! Never had a issue with office staff.. They are nice and caring! There is some teenage boys on property that need discipline but that is the mothers responsibility... Maintenance is good but i miss the old maintenance before property got sold. I lived here for 7 years now and i dont regret it i just hate that they are small but my family is small in size so it works out perfect.”

“This is not one of the best complexes but it is not the worst. We do not have security because the complex management wants to save money, though we sorely need it. There are people who are robbed all the time in these complexes as well as the murder that occurred in one of the apartments a while back. Parking is terrible as well, there is a required permit but I have NEVER seen a tow truck that actually tows vehicles without a permit. The people in the office are not very great, they have switched office staff like three times since I've lived here, so that tells you a lot. The ONLY thing I like about this complex is the maintenance staff, the main guy does good work and is very friendly. If I could fiscally afford it right now, I would move to another location.”

“I have lived at Redwood for a year and a half now.They use to have security on site when I frist moved in but then they got rid of them to save money. I lady was brutally murdered here over a year ago. Soon after they changed managenment. I begged and begged along with many other residents to have them bring security out here. But they refused and would always give us the run around! A few nights ago I was robbed at gunpoint a few steps in front of my home! Needless to say. I wont be recommeding this place anytime soon.”

“I have lived in the complex for several months now. I was very pleased in the begining but that soon changed. The ladies who run the office while nice or highly ineffetive and inexspreanced. Half the electric sockets in the apartment dont work! And have never been fixed! Once when it rained hard, water backed up through sewer pipes and flooded parts of my apartment! There is never parking because people who dont live here often stay overnight. And while their is a towing addendum in the lease I have never seen it enforced. Open containers of alchol or suppose to be prohibited outdoors. But on weekends you have to wade through empty beer cans and bottles to get to your car practically. Drugs are also a problem. I have on several occasions veiwed people dealing as well as taking drugs! In the open. Their is suppose to be a noise claus in the lease but it is never enforced. And when schools out their are childern wandering around unsupervised. Getting into trouble and being incrediably loud and rude. Police do patrol but seldom have I seen the guard. I suppose things could be worse and its true this is one of the better apartments complexes in the area. But still I wouldent recommend it. And im sorely dissapointed in this place that has so much potiental.”

“I been at Redwood for 2 years now and Im pretty satisfied living here, might not be the BEST apartment complex in the houston area but they are much better than the ones around lawndale. A few issues here and there but everything under control no major issues. Maintenance is great, really happy with it,he has taken care of my needs in a timely manner. The girls at the office very nice and helpful. - the apartments have a security officer which is good because he makes himself available to us and I have no problems with him or his service - the only thing that i find not so great is the parking there are not that many spaces available very nice and quiet. Do recommend.”
