“I hate this place because they're WAY too many cockroaches! In the day it's fine, but dear lord! It's a nightmare! At night the cockroaches are in the carpet! In the bathroom! And in the kitchen! I only occasionally come here for my Family; I love them all, but I'm losing sleep because of it! They really need to keep check in these apartments. Do. Not. Move. Here.”

“I renewed my contract and they have never done the basic repairs, a nightmare, even though i paid their rent on time.Horrible customer service. Cars are being towed due to them not having enough parking space. One guy slept in his car because he feared being towed, even though he has sticker from the apartment on his car showing he a resident. My car along with others were towed after I drove around looking for 3 hours for a parking. I finally had no choice but to park on the side. And sure enough they towed me. There cruel and basically don't care about there residents. A person can lose jobs,not be able to take there kid to school etc.. All because there greedy! No resident is parking on purpose In the wrong place we just don't have any where to park after a certain time. Don't move here .”

“it's the worst place to live, poor maintenance, they promise to fix the problem and they always tell you, tomorrow. they tow your car even if you're a resident and you have there stupid estiker in your car.”

“Manager, officiers are 'nice'. However they will never do the things promised. Ur welcome in to be cheated. I even tried to talk to the manager the boss, but the Staff, will only give you an invalid email. Or I don't know whether that's valid or not, because of no response at all.”

“Worst place ever to live! Water bill too high for 1 bedroom and you wake up to take cold baths and showers 3 to 4 times a week. Most of the time have to heat water to wash dishes. Water pressure stays low, not to mention the laundry room have lost 20 to 25 dollars since they changed over to in office says nothing they can do, surprise surprise. Neighbors balconys look like crap, trash clothes,broken balcony doors etc. all over the place blinds falling down and they have audacity to ask to refer someone, lol not for a million. If I could afford it I would be gone.”

“WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT MOVE INTO THESE APARTMENTS. THE MANAGER IS A REAL B&%$# AND THAT IS NOT THE LEAST TO SAY. SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO CARE FOR THE PROPERTY NOR HER TENANTS. YOU WOULD THINK SOMEONE THAT HAS BEEN IN THE SAME BUSINESS FOR OVER 20 YEARS AS SHE CLAIMS WOULD BE ABLE TO PROPERLY AND COURTEOUSLY BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE WITH HER TENANTS BUT THAT IS NOT THE CASE. TAKE MY ADVICE GO ELSE WHERE WITH YOUR BUSINESS. THE MANAGERS NAME IS MERCY.”

“i been living in savannah apts for the last past two years i actually like it here there better than the apats across the street but my problems are the following: theres seems to be alot of roaches all over the apartment the carpet is really dirty all they do is paint the carpet so every time i have no shoes on my feet or socks end up all brown! i also seem to have alot of trouble with the parking lot theres alot of cars that dont even belong there and makes it hard for me to find a parking lot at night when i get out from work i have to walk from one end to another not cool and last but not least the manager Marcy Carbalo has no manners shes a really rude person she need to calm down and treat people with respect just like she would like to be treated.”

“The new management at Savannah is horrible. The manager Marcy Carbalo is rude. I came to her office to talk about a problem I had over the gate access. At first we spoke on the phone and she hung up in my face, then I went down to the office to talk to her face to face and she was extremly disrespectful. She seemed to be very immature. I asked to speak with someone above her, like the owner of the property and she refused to give me his name and telephone number. She said, "The complaint ends here and you will not talk to anyone else, if you want to know who the owner is you have to find out on your own." She upset me because I have been living in the Savannah longer than she has worked there and she completely treated me as if I was a nobody. I pay rent here and to be talked to like that is uncalled for. If you are looking for an apartment do not come to the Savannah, go somewhere that employees actually apperciate your business. The Savannah has terrible customer service.”

“You're still there. I left last year when my car got broken into. And then a few months after that my neighbor went outside to find his brand new orange truck on 4 blocks. They had stolen his 4 brand new tires and rims. <br><br>For all you criminals reading this, it's real easy to get in and out when the gates never work. Hey I have a crazy idea, how 'bout fixing the gate or putting a camera on the gate. That way if a tenant breaks the gate, then you can charge the appropriate apartment.<br><br>But until then, if anyone out there wants to break into some cars 8800 Broadway is easy access.”

“I HAVE LIVED IN THE SAVANNAH FROM 2000-2004.<br>AT FIRST IT WAS FINE BUT AS TIME WENT ON THE PROPERTY WENT DOWN. MY CAR HAS BEEN BROKEN INTO 3 DIFFERENT TIMES. WHEN I TOLD THE MANAGMENT ABOUT THE GATES BEING BROKEN ALL THE TIME THEY TOLD ME FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT THAT THEY WERE FIXING THEM. AS OF 9/13/04 THEY ARE STILL BROKEN. RIGHT NOW I'M FED UP AND I MUST FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE.”

“This place was nice when I first moved in back in 2001, but realized rather quickly that this place wasn't safe and falling apart at the seams. Rain gutters falling or hanging loose on Morely(from 5/2001 to 3/2004 and now, cut off and hasn't been replace as of yet 5/10/2004), the SECURITY ENTRY gates are ALWAYS broken or stuck and so many pieces missing or broken off. <br> <br>ROACH INFESTED(SPRAYING IS A WASTE OF TIME), DRUG INFESTED, ITEMS BEING STOLEN, BUSTED PATHWAY SECURITY LAMPS, THE POLICE ARE HERE MORE SO NOW, THEN BEFORE, carpets and padding are THIN(cheap), the force of HOT water in the shower, is like WARM and with NO PRESSURE(Management corrects it, but around 4-days later, its right back to LOW PRESSURE and WARM WATER)!!! <br> <br>The laundramat rooms charge $1.00 for wash and dry EACH(Management has no control over this), the mailboxes are a NIGHTMARE, we have LATCHKEY KID'S(WHERE ARE THE PARENTS???) only saw the mother ONCE in the last 4-months and STAYED THE WEEKEND, if that!! And, NO FATHER, either. <br> <br>Now, as for the MANAGEMENT, THEY NEED TO BECOME MORE AWARE OF WHATs GOING ON AROUND HERE AND STOP HIDING IN THE OFFICE. <br> <br>Now, as for the OWNER'S of FLAGSHIP MANAGEMENT, OUTSIDE OF SAVANNAH APARTMENT'S THEY ARE TRYING TO SPRUCE UP THIS PLACE BY PAINTING EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING, WHICH IS GOOD AND FINE, BUT THE LACK OF SECURITY FRIGHTENS ME, WITH UNRULEY KIDS AND TEENAGER'S, BROKEN ENTRY GATE'S, THIS PLACE IS BECOMING MORE TRASHY, BECAUSE THE PEOPLE LIVING HERE DON'T CARE OR DON'T HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR THIS PLACE(THIS HAS GOT TO BE TELLING YOU SOMETHING, CAUSE IT HAS TO ME, FOR 3-YEARS and whats MANAGEMENT DOING ABOUT IT??!!). <br> <br>IT SOUNDS TO ME, that the owner's of FLAGSHIP MANAGEMENT, ARE JUST TAKING OUR MONIES AND RUNNING WITH IT, and DOING NOTHING TO PROVIDE A SAFER ENVIRONMENT FOR THOSE OF US LIVING HERE..., NOTHING!!! <br> <br>DO YOU EVER SEE 'THE SAVANNAH APARTMENT'S' LISTED IN THE "APARTMENT FINDER" book or the "APARTMENT GUIDE", ANYMORE ??? <br> <br>PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THIS PLACE AS SHODDY, ROACH INFESTED, UNSECURE AND TRASHY....SO, WHO WANTS TO LIVE HERE?? <br> <br>Maybe FLAGSHIP should consider making SAVANNAH APARTMENT'S A NEW HOME FOR PEOPLE OVER 55 (SENIOR APARTMENT'S), BUT UNFORTUNATELY the Owner's of FLAGSHIP MANAGEMENT, HAVE ALOT OF PROBLEM'S TO SOLVE BEFORE THEY COULD EVER MAKE SUCH A COMMITMENT of EXCELLENCE!!”

“The Good: Maintainence is usually within 24hrs. Cheap rent. Average amenities. Close to airport. Quiet at night. Landscape is not beautiful but very well-kept. Close to highways. Management is generally very attentive but there seems to be a new manager every few months. Community events for kids during the holidays. Some mornings the management wakes up early and gives away free juice and doughnuts at the gates. <br> <br>The Bad: EXTREMELY NOISY. I have to wear earplugs when I am home during the day(and not because of the airplanes). You can hear everything. I can hear the neighbors below me snoring and having sex. I am in a 2br that does not have an apartment on either side so I know it is the people below me. The walls and windows are paper-thin. All day you hear children playing and screaming and doors slamming and car radioes. The complex is extremely low class. I wouldn´t say ------ because I have seen worse. There arent any gun shots and my car nor apartment has ever been broken into (knock on wood). <br>Most of the residents are single mothers with 4 kids to a 2br apt. Planes are annoying at first but you get used to it. Laundry facilities are pricey and dirty. Gates are ALWAYS broken. I went out of town once for a month and when I came back the gates were still broken. <br> <br>I would recommend this complex to someone who isn´t home much until the sun goes down. That is the only time you will get any peace. Otherwise it is not THAT bad. If anything more expensive it out of your price range I would pick this complex over a lot of the other cheaper ones in the area. I moved here from out of town and found the apt on the internet. Had I been able to fly down and see it I would have looked elsewhere.”

“its loud, people banging loud music, ------ as ----, thing but black, poeple always hearing loud airplanes becouse the airport its right across this street , not really a good place to live.ITS G*H*E*T*T*O”

“I dont have the greatest credit in the world but i needed a place to stay near the airport. <br>1) its LOUD very loud <br>2) Roach infested, no matter how much bombing pest control w hatever the roaches rule this place <br>3) the gate is always broken <br>4) the airport noise ( doesn´t bother me) <br>Also the staff is bad, t hey mix up your accounts mistakenly put eviction notices on my door ( they were meant for a neighbor) and have some weird policies. <br>The free cable is nice and the electricity bills are low but beware. carpet is terrible.. <br>I stayed there a y ear. paid my rent on time early every month and now i have moved out and i found out that flagship is foreclosing on properties all over texas...”
