“Worst property management company in the history of property management companies. Tarantino properties is trash. I've lived in my apartment for 12 years and so far 1 has been governed by them. They purchased this run down second chance complex and put lipstick on this pig. Next they raised the rent a lot and started charging for water. Even the upgrades they've done are already becoming dilapidated. This place was a cockroach/bed bug/black mold infested property with a 50 year old foundation when they bought it. Now they constantly send out new illegal rules for all of their tenants. You can't pay by any means other than their tenant portal or smoke anywhere on property. I'm sorry, but that isn't stated in my lease! All of the upgrades they have made are already becoming dilapidated because they don't maintain anything. Do not rent from "The Ivy at the Galleria" ever. If you have an apartment at any Tarantino properties, be honest and leave them a review on Google and any other online review location possible. Don't let them get away with threatening you or any of your neighbors with illegal fines imposed by falsely implied "new rules". Stand up for your rights. Tarantino properties must be owned by ---- descendants. Even prisons have a smoking section!”

— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“TURN AROUND! the first week move in was hectic already. my apartment was not ready by expected move in date for 4 days after promised by Ellen. I had to sleep in a hotel for 4 days because she always made excuses or forgot. I HAD TO PAY 260 to stay and was never credited from their mistakes. I eventually gave up and cleaned the apartment filled with construction left-overs/paint. The fridge had 500 fruit flies in it and I had to througly clean Also, it took 3 months for my maintance requests to get fixed due to me saying "i have no smoke detactors its against the law" Also, I asked her repeatedly for a parking permit and she never gave me one until my car was towed. Now she invades my privacy because I have became close with someone in the apartment complex. Her, being so nosey asked questions pertaining our private affairs which is "invasion on seclusion" She harasses other tenants and bullies. I've witnessed her literally make up scenarios and write a notice to her. Even if other tenants are involved only this certain tenant gets the notice not everyone! this torment, bullying, persuctor, and intimidator needs to learn how to be a human that has feelings.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I absolutely love this place, it's in walking distance to grocery store, pubs, restaurants, spa, etc....it's quiet, kid friendly, amazing neighbours. I love the gym and pool, and it's summer yayyyyyy! My favourite is my bathroom”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“this place could be so much better if the owner or staff cared at all. For maintenance its pretty much non existent. You tell them for months that air conditioner is going out and still have not even looked at it. They spend absolutely no money on the property and dont plan on it. The community itself is very quiet. The tenants are all slobs and throw their trash anywhere and everywhere. Mostly because of kids that are not watched at all and never cleaned up after. The surrounding community is getting worse by the day. You have to watch your back and dont go outside alone at night. Not saying something will happen just feels like it could.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“These people writing great reviews must have been living in another apartment because it is not the Gallery Apartments that I know very well! First off, to say that this place is roach infested would be a huge understatement! All they care about is rent and nothing else. Management is a flop because you never get anything repaired on time. when you call to report an issue, calls aren't responded at all. They will call to remind you of rent though, they never fail in that regards! You would think that as small as this apartment is, maintenance issues would be resolved in a timely fashion but no! Instead, they will keep telling you it will be fixed today, tomorrow, next tomorrow etc. Before you know it, weeks have gone by and the issue is still not resolved. The apartment in general is filthy and don't get me started on dog poop all over the place. Neighbors use the outside as a toilet for their dogs. You literally would have to dodge stepping on dog poop depending on where you are walking to. Despite several complaints, the apartment has done nothing about it. They just don't care! I don't also think that they do a thorough background check because it appears drug dealers are allowed to live in the complex. Smoking weed is the order of the day even in broad day light. They smoke weed anytime of the day and you can always smell it in the atmosphere. This issue has also been reported on several occasions yet again, they do not care! This is by far, the worst apartment I have ever lived in and the most unsafe, unclean, unprofessional. It was 4 years of hell!”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I've lived at the Gallery Apartments since 2015 and so far it's been pretty good. Its nice and quiet where I am and the neighbors are very friendly.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I really like living in this apartment complex because of the location and the community togetherness. I have been here for 5 years. The manager Perla is so kind and helpful . The time that i have been here I've never had any problems. The neighbors are all very nice and the property is pretty quite.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Very happy here love the range microwave and stainless appliances parking lot brightly lit at night love the pool and manager and maintenance very good and fast location is good and I feel safe here”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I have been living here for quiet sometime and as of today the apartments have changed in a positive way, wood floors (if requested), nice appliances, ceiling fan which I love, grass are taking care of every Monday, laundry room clean and new machines, cameras everywhere, great maintenance staffs, very caring, whenever I needed something repair or even carpet washed it's done in a timely manner, I love the gym and my kid loves the pool. The overall security is great, there is that family atmosphere that is reassuring. The apartment itself is beautiful and clean. The only problem here is parking, sometimes it's hard to find one so I suggest you get a reserved parking or get home a little early lol.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Ivelived here 2 year a and very happy with everything people are good nice and safe well lighted at nite gate's secure good amintenece”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Great place!! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. Great location, spacious apartments and reasonably priced. Perla in the office is very nice and very helpful. Maintenance is very quick and efficient. All of the maintenance issues were fixed promptly. I never experienced any issues with noise nor never seen any illegal activities and I work 2nd shift and I come home in the middle of the night. I wouldn't move out if I wasn't relocating to a different state for work. Overall great place to live! I highly recommend!”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Bedbugs. Roaches. No maintenance. Water comes out Brown. Water machine in back for drinking. Pool is never open. Cars are broken in. If you want access to prostitution it's there. Many drug dealers. Want pills. Weed. Cocaine? Has it all. Only good thing is the sweet manager Perla. There are also many other good people there that has been there for years. They are working on getting rid of the trouble but lots to do. Last I heard the bedbugs are gone.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Bed bag, drugs dealing and use even a sexoffender but not in the lease. just come check it any weekend night to see for your self.not safe for a family at all it s a waist of money.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I was eager to find an apt in a very short time 6 months ago & I was directed to the Gallery Apartments. I will say that they are conveniently located in the Galleria area. I believe that with any apartment you are visiting & considering, they put their best face on. Once you're in the door though, it becomes different. The 1st month was good in that the environment was quiet and things were fixed in a timely fashion. Once that month passed, I have been having issues w/ my hot water working on a regular basis and for some reason, maintenance will not fix my smoke detector although I have asked numerous times to get it fixed, so until this day, the detector annoyingly beeps. Let me back up though...I signed a 16 month lease and according to their website, I was supposed to get a stainless steel package in my kitchen. Six months later, I still do not have it. Ms. P, the leasing agent/property mgt claims that their supplier does not have stainless electric appliances. I asked for black ones and she said that those may be easier to come by depending on what's in stock. I'm still waiting. Ms. P also told me that the website that I'm referring to is not theirs which makes no sense because it bears the same address and a lot of the same pics but some of those pictures are false, not pictures of the actual apartments. If the complex is not claiming this website, why is it still up? At this point, they should hire someone to change it so that they aren't falsely advertising stuff they have no intention of putting in apartments. If their supplier does not have equipment as advertised on their website, they need to get a new supplier or have several on hand as I am tired of waiting. They expect their rent to be paid on time right? How come is it then once a lease is signed, they don't try to make sure that their tenants are happy. Don't even get me started on the laundry room where up to half the machines are constantly broken. The pool is closed more often than it is open and it's SUMMER, the best time to be in the pool! I knew a couple of months in advance that I would have a family relative coming to stay with me for a few months and I went through the process of making sure it was OK for him to stay here and got specifics on things like parking etc...My nephew had not even been here a week when his car was towed costing him money that should not have been spent. He parked where Ms. P told him to park and was still towed. When my nephew attempted to deal with this issue w/ upper mgt, Ms. P was not straight with him and did not care that his care was towed. Not only he was not only shut down and accused of lying, but was accused of threatening upper mgt which is not accurate as I was in the office when he was talking to the complex manger and in the room when he was on the phone with them. At the end of the day, this apartment complex only cares about themselves and nickel and diming their residents and now allowing disruptive and noisy neighbors move in and destroy the property w/ multiple loud parties, trashing the pool and now an infestation of CATS everywhere!! (that is how its pronounced, but I know the spelling is wrong and I hate that I am stuck here for almost another year, but I will survive. Trust, I will not be signing another lease here. Oh & i back up everything that the previous reviewer left (not sure if it will be above or below mine's).”
“A land mine field of dog crap!!! That's exactly what your greeted to when you step out of your apartment. The tenants who have large dogs allow them to crap all over the grass and landscaping and Management refuses to do anything about it. They won't pass out warnings, they won't pass out notices, they won't post signs to "scoop where your dog poops", they just simply allow it to continue. So very disappointing how management allows the property to look so trashy. And don't let me get started on the lousy maintenance crew of (2) and their lazy work habits and horrible patch jobs when it comes to water leaks, non-working power outlets or ceiling fans that make so much noise your afraid to turn it on for fear of it flying off the ceiling and smacking you in the head. Onsite laundry faculty has 8 dryers and 8 washers and I will guarantee you that 6 out of the 16 units will be out of service every weekend so that leaves an apartment complex of 100+ units with an estimate of 200+ tenants to use 10 machines to wash clothes...good luck with that!”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“DO NOT MOVE HERE! NOISE EVERYWHERE. PAPER THIN WALLS, BARKING DOGS, DIRTY LAUNDRY FACILITY & DUMPSTER AREA. MAINTENANCE IS OVERWHELMED WITH WORK & WHEN NEEDED, HE DOES A VERY POOR JOB. HORRIBLE PLACE TO LIVE. APARTMENTS ARE A LITTLE BIT UPGRADED BUT THE ROACHES ARE ALL OVER THE PLACE. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“DO NOT LEASE HERE! This place has gone from decent to uncontrollably ------ in the past few years. Last year they started fixing the place back up again and right when you think it's changing for the better it's right back to disgusting. The past month has been nothing but loud parties and strange people walking around everywhere. Weekends seem to be the worst. Alot of disrespectful neighbors. I used to be able to walk through the parking lot with out stepping all over broken beer bottles or walking through vomit, even get a good nights sleep. It is no longer the quiet place I moved into a few years ago. I'm moving out. The pricing is good but not good enough to torture myself by living in such disgraceful conditions. I never had roaches in my apartment and now they are every where. The people who own this dump need to sleep here for a few days so they can see why people hate it.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Is the Gallery a High End Galleria apartment complex? No. HOWEVER, the apartment is VERY exceptional for the price and location. If you don't want to spend a ton of money a month on an apartment but still want a nice place that is safe and up to date, then you'll choose The Gallery Apartments. I've lived there for 3 years and everything has always been great. Management, maintenance, neighbors, laundry room, etc.... no problems. I do keep to myself an don't socialize too much with the other residents. The Gallery is a solid place to live... no concerns. If you need to ask someone, just walk around the pool and come up the stairs. I'll be happy to talk.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“This place sucks! Moved here about a month ago and I can tell you that the apartments are in horrible shape. They overcharge and promise what they can't. Here are my problems, let's list them: 1: My A/C has a block somewhere in the duct and the maintenance person keeps telling me that because I have a two bedroom that it blows low. My A/C has to be on all day to make it cool in my house. 2: The people above me have 2 very large dogs that run around all day and bark. Also the people sweep all of their dog "belongings" down to my patio. ( I have complained an still have the same issues) 3: There is a stripper that lives with her drug dealing boyfriend and mgmt has done nothing about it (Anyone can tell he is a dealer because people come to the door and he answers hand them something and then they leave - all day and night) 4: The gate to the complex is always "broke" on the weekends and there are very large potholes in the lot that have been there for awhile. 5: The laundry room stinks and most of the machines are broke. They are contracted out to another company, but come on wouldn't a complex try to keep them maintained for their residents? 6: Is you own a large dog you can have them take care of their business anywhere if you live here, because management does not care. As for the other reviews below I have a sneaky suspicion that the new management is writing these reviews, why would a former resident write a review? Who on earth writes a review for something months later. Clean up Galley and you might get some residents that are willing to pay the inflated rent that you are charging for your "DUMP"!”

— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Hi, I am a former tenant from the Gallery Apts. I lived there for 5 years and sure miss the small quiet community. Just want to say if anyone is looking for comfort, quiet and friendly neighbors The Gallery is the place.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I'm very sad I have to move after 12 wonderful years here at the gallery but my kids are off to college and we have to move to Washington. We leave special moments here, my kids childhood. We are very happy with management and maintenance. Yeah building is old but very well kept, modern upgrades to fit the galleria style. Very quiet, and pretty much everyone looking out for everyone. I completely 100% recommend The Gallery Apartments if anyone is looking to rent in the galleria area. Very content tenant who has to move.”
— 6220 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Don't believe what other people say about this place!! The manager is never in her office, or when she is, she has a bad attitude. The guys who "fix" stuff, never come to fix what needs to be fixed!! There are drunk people that live here and they are always causing problems!! No one takes care of their kids, they run all over and they will knock you down and just keep running!! There are stray cats all over the place, and they get in to the trash and drag it all over the place!! The HPD that lives there never walks around at night to keep all the getto people out!!!”
