“My spouse and I have been disrespected by management multiple times. A few months ago we have had problems with our AC in our apartment. It was 89°-90° degrees in our apartment and when we contacted the Manager Anna she states "if we do not like we could move" she failed to realize we have a right to stay in our apartment, but she has no right to disrespect tenants. She also threatened my spouse and I that she was going to call the police on us because we wanted our AC fixed. We have had to contact the civil rights department and our lawyer based on the Manager Anna discriminating against us. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone, and we are not the first or last ones she has disrespected. There are also other people who live in the apartments who have complained about her attitude. No one deserves to be disrespected or treated unequally. We also had to contact the Houston housing department when she refused to do her job. The manager Anna has no social skills and when we came to ask her questions she completely ignore us and fortunately there were other employees there who practice professionalism.”

I lived on the 1st floor and because they were hunger for money, she allowed a couple live on top of m? with a huge giant dog. Ever since they moved in, my life was a nightmare. I could not sleep at all besause they walked with boots and the dog were running all over upstairs. I couldn't take it anymore, I brought it up to the leasing office. Nothing was done. Since nothing was done, I decided to record all the noises/sounds from them. I then let the manager, Ana listened to it. I asked Ana to allow me to transfer to a different unit. She said she will let me know if I could. Again, nothing said and done. I went to the office again, she then said I may but the rent will increase $69.00 more. I didn't agree. She said will ask her boss and will let me know if anything cpuld be done. Nothing was done like she has said. A week later, I found out the new tenant moved in the unit that i asked to transfer.Ana gave me no choice. I felt I was forced to move out. Apparently, they do not care how long I have been living there. All they want is $$. I asked for my deposit back and it has been a month she has not returned it. This people have a big problen answering emails / concerns. Avoid moving here if you can.”

The moment you say or do something they don't like, they go out of their way to make you miserable. I've seen the 2 male employees scream and cuss at several residents. They love putting 30 days notice inside the front door. Yes they open your front door with the master key to tape notice. They mail it regularly and certified as well. I've seen the same 2 employees take fed ex/ups packages off the patio. Sometimes the employees act like they don't have it. I had to prove it to other residents with video footage. I installed a camera when I caught the office employees breaking into my home with their master key. I've complained to corporate several times and all I got I response was, you don't like it then leave. I hope the owner gets sued very soon. Next to the complex is a car shop. They are very loud over there. They start making noise between 7 and 8 a.m. Car alarms go off constantly over there. So if you like to sleep late, you're going to have a hard time here. Half the time to garbage truck comes here between 5 and 6 a.m. It's a very small parking lot here so the truck has a hard time getting out so you hear the loud reverse beep beep noise it makes for at least 5 mins. Also they don't tell you this. You have to go up front with the gate key to let your guest in. They refuse to give out the code that you could give to them. They claim they do that so the code wouldn't be handed out to the people going down to the bars at the end of the street. They get in here anyways bc they wait for a resident to open the gate and follow them in. You know I used to think that people give out false bad reviews for whatever reasons. I wish I was making this up. My experience here was horrible and I seriously counted the days till I left. Never again will I move to a small apartment complex. There's probably mold or something in the a.c. vents. When the a.c. would run it smelled like sewer. I'm not kidding. So I kept mine off and bought fans. That kind of sucked during summer, but at least I didn't have to suffer through that awful smell.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Terrible place to live. Everyone got used to brown water; no matter how many times you report it to the office or leave a comment, nobody cares here. Management does not exist here in practice. Maintenance is the worst I've ever seen in my life. If you get an issue on the weekend, don't expect them to be of any help. Gate is open half of the time. Cars of nonresidents are parked in the parking, so if I get home after 11pm, hardly any spot will be there for me. If you think 'you get what you pay for' justifies waste of money and your life living here, come and get your most painful experience of your life. Welcome!”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Pros: friendly neighbors, free covered parking, low Galleria rent, consistent management, generally safe Cons: Brown water, old/outdated units, cheap maintenance fixes resulting in multiple calls, air conditioning/cooling issues Bottom Line: I'm looking forward to moving out at the end of my lease.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“This is worse apartment I have ever seen in Houston. Safety gate is 24/7 open and staff are not taking responsibilities and maintenance in the worst condition. Never even think of moving to this apartment.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“so far cant complain love Janet shes so nice and very helpful the one i cant stand is the lady from phase 1 she is traying to get in everyones business and she is just trying to be hated! the property is nice and very very clean”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I lived at Fountainview Lodge phase 2 for almost 4 year We move out 1 month ago during that time management always changed afer the second one we should of moved out but we really liked the location and the rent for a 2 bedroom townhome is great. During out time there maintenance was not good at all they always had to come back to fix the same problem and their was a language issue. We could hardly understand them. The new lady in the office has been there since the end of November she is really nice and addressed all the issues we had unlike the ladies that been there before. The manager which is located on phases 1 was rude and never addressed any of our issues. We spoke with the lady in the office on phase 2 to let her know it was nothing against her but we had to get out of there. We were just waiting for our lease to come up. Since moving out we been out there twice on phase 2 to visit with friend and the lady in the office. She is making changes cleaning up the property and now we actually see the maintenance guys out there instead of phase 1 . We wish the best to her. She is a nice person and took the time out to see how things were going at out new apartment. If she would have been there sooner we would have thought about staying.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Been here for about 6 1/2 years now and I really like my home here, cant say i had a bad experience, i will say the apartments are a little older and installation may not be the best, but thats ever where I have been living in apartments since the early 90's and have experienced it all. There really isnt a perfect place, unless you buy a home. My neigbors are really all my friends we watch out for eachother and let eachother know whats going on from time to time. As for the management office not real sure i dont get to see them often because of my work schedule but anytime i call in they seem to be prompt and they always seem to followup with me and thats what matters. small quiet thats all that matters to me”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“This place is the worse EVER!!! The neighbors are horrible... loud with no consideration for you or your belongings. You tell the apartment manager the things that are happening and NOTHING is ever resolved. So, if you plan on moving to Fountainview Lodge... be prepared to live around a bunch of ignorant people that have no respect for you or your things...”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“went to lease with these apartments, i really liked it going to bring my deposit next week when i get paid, the people in the office where nice and really helpful great job fountainview lodge, they also showed me there other property on the other side and it was really nice too, i feel comfortable here.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I am moving out of Fountainview lodge because i finally purchased a home, i was asked to leave a comment about my stay here and it was great! it is an older property with some maitenance things that happened from time to time, but they were always taken care of with a quick response. Id lease here again and will refer people to this place thanks fountainview”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I am so close to my job all the money i am saving in gas and everything its definitly worth it and I agree with the other person yeah its older but its got style, i have like that wood laminate flooring so to me thats as fancy as I need it my apartment looks pretty modern, no complaints from me. I think i found my home long as rent doesnt go up im here to stay. Lived at other apartments on westhiemer and they were too loud this is quiet just WHAT I NEEDED!”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“Its really nice i moved in about a year ago and so far so good, i have recommeded 2 other people here and hey seem to like it as well, quiet, convienent and pretty much safe if you need anything there pretty much there for you. welp, id say its a pretty damn good place close to the freeways!”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“This apartment complex is really small and very quiet all of my neighbors have been really nice it makes you feel like the old days when people were all friendly and the place is real peaceful, I have a one bedroom here and on the outside they do look a little older but the inside of these apartments are really really nice, so i wouldnt judge a book by its cover I was pleasantly surprised! I have lived here for over 2 years now and I have really seen a lot of improvements to the apartments here, the management staff is really nice and all of my maintenance requests are usually taken care of pretty quickly. I think that if you are looking for a place that is close to work or the freeways and is quiet and you can feel like you can leave your door open then this is the place for you. This is just my thoughts and I have referred several of my friends here too. Hope this helps you with your moving descions.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“The only thing good I have to say good about them is that they are so incompetent they did not get me to SIGN A LEASE when I moved in, so when maintenence broke in to my apartment I was able to leave without being held by a lease agreement.<br>The apartments has a AC unit that drains into the tub so when you take a shower your constantly getting drip on by diry rusty water that stains the tub an ugly brownish orange color (image what it does to your skin) the property is dirty unkept, the manager Angie should be fired with her entire staff. Do not let the location fool you it is "THE ------"”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“This property was not doing well until new management took over around June, 2005 but now it is totally different than before. Great Maintenance and Courteous Office staff.<br>I highly recommend this apartment.”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“I have lived here for about 2 years and I am very disappointed with the inconsistent of management turnover. They have a new manager here by the name of Christine and she has no professionalism whatsoever. When Hurricane Rita came to Houston the lights where out in the complex for 3 days from Friday Sept. 23rd to Mon. Sept. 26th it was a terrible experience for most of the residence here and they have not once checked on us or offered relief like water or food for those days but by the 3rd of the following month they where looking for the rent. (HOW INCONSIDERATE IS THAT)?”
— 6100 Fairdale Ln · Houston“TERRIBLE SERVICE, WORSE LOCATION, DANGEROUS AFTER DARK, MANGMENT IS PITTIFUL. THE BLIND LEADING THE BLIND. THE ONLY THING THEY DO WELL IS TAKE YOUR MONEY(THEY EVEN MANAGED TO SCREW THAT UP) AND WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID!!! Also, the managment are liars. They have been promising free cable for the past two years and I have to say that I payed 50.00 month so that ANY channels would come across my brand new TV. Also, the living conditions are only "livable". The appliances are as old as the structure and that goes for the A/C units as well. I am very disappointed but not suprised at the total disregard for customer service. The managment are liars and THEIVES. Thats right, when they came in to do maintnence on my unit, money and PERSONAL items came up missing. It seemed as if they went through my drawers. When I tryed to complain they accussed me of lying. I even ofered for them to come into my apartment for me to show them the evidence. BUT no. DO NOT LIVE HERE! DO NOT LIVE HERE! DO NOT LIVE HERE!”
