“My son got killed over here for nth I'm trying to close these apartments down these apartments are bad and I would like them close down I see lots of reviews that saying shooting and unnecessary my son was one of the ones got killed for nth”

“Current resident more than five plus years at this property. Do not recommend and I will update with images on why I do not recommend. Pest infestations, poor management, molded vents, and for terrible maintenance turn around.”

“A brief sketch after what I have seen here, when it was called Nob Hill 95% of the residents were white, now with Jackson --------------------------, they do not take care of hygiene, there is a lot of mistreatment of the property, 80% of washing machines and dryers are in poor condition, frequent public scandals, frequent HPD visits, it seems that they do not review criminal records due to the high presence of criminals, drug use, indecently dressed people, cars at high speed in parking lots, frequent vandalism to mailboxes , late payment of rent, I do not recommend it to families with children, Favorable: A beautiful place, excellent maintenance team and very friendly office staff”

“Please don't moved here, the place may look nice outside but this place has too many problems and i think should be fix for anyone to live here. like too many guy hanging by gas station side of building with guns out and too many shooting in and out building day , midday and night, too many gates open for no reason. very serious drive by this place in midday and night by gas station and look, Please believe me , save your your time and life and look so place else safer to live.”

“It was a beautiful place at one time was able to go visit and talk to neighbors hanging out outside, could sit on porch's walk around and enjoy peace and quiet. Have clubs house you play bingo with neighbors have movies night with kids and events had something look forward four, they have really change around here . Don't no who manage is are staff a anymore they change staff like they change underwear , gave you attitude blow you off at times it's a waste of your time and there's. This place is horrible over the last three years gun shots morning, noonish and night hang out all day on side streets. Playing loud music cussing, rapping using bad language jumping on cars dancing trash all on grounds smell bad in some areas gates all way open are broken cars broken into. Gangs run this place and don't care if you are not guns out all the time this is definitely the wild wild west , shooting at each other bullets flying throw widows and door's we feel like we in cages . Can't sit outside with out having to rain and duck down hope you don't get shot I will definitely not recommend anyone to move in here.”

“We have been living here over two years and there has been plenty shootings and robberies. Also the plumbing is horrible, every other month our plumbing is backed up in the kitchen sink, toilet, and bath tub. If we flush the toilet when its backed up crap from the toilet goes to the tub. It is said that nothing can really be done to permanently fix this problem due to the apartments being so old (built in 1960s). DO NOT MOVE HERE!”

“The property manager allows people to live for free here which are gangmembers and harassing paying tenants. I will be seeking legal advice on this matter cause this is unsafe and property manager is allowing it”

“Since the the sale, this place has gone downhill, downhill VERY FAST! This was one the Pearl of Meyerland. Not anymore. Management Company cars nothing but the money it's getting from housing government. There's been multiple shootings, murders and robberies and nothing is being done. I've been there for years, and this is the WORST it's ever been. Even if I have to break my lease, I'm leaving this hellhole. Then again, my LIFE at Jackson Square is in danger. Management is doing nothing so by State Housing Law, I'm within my rights to leave”

“Hi my name is Anthony I live on the N263 side don’t waist your time moving here my wife and kids was in a news paper article about this dump they call a apts. being from the Bahamas we have never seen anything like this place the staff don’t want to except your rent after you make an complaint then they want to throw you out”

“The property is amazing,with very good conditions to live ,I’m so excited , also I want to mention the agent Nile Jiggetts ,this guy is great he answered all my questions, thanks Nile we appreciate u.”

“I moved in, and first off, management does NOT answer the phone. the laundry room smells like mold and mildew. you have to pay for your clothes to smell god awful and still be SOAKED. first few nights here firetrucks ambulance and Houston PD showed up. ROACHES everywhere. you pay for pest control and NO ONE shows up. my animals have been attacked three times. No one leashes their dogs. bathroom ceiling is just hanging. the walls are paper thin. neighbors are rude and loud all through the night. security is terrible. trash outside everywhere, including DIRTY Diapers and feminine Hygiene products. and you can't blame management on that. in the lease it states the days trash valet comes. workers are rude have been doing roof work and my fenced in back patio is full of nails and staples. they just chuck it off the roof. what i can blame management for is lack of attentiveness to the tenants they allow to rent.”

“Been a tenant since 2016. It now takes Maintenance weeks to fix things. It's not the tenants fault they're short handed. They're making repairs and renewing on the outside structure, but neglecting inside the apartments. The mold & mildew in the bathroom ceiling is making me sick in my apartment. A FOUL odor coming from standing water under kitchen cabinet/sink due to broken garbage disposal. Still waiting for maintenance. My car window was shot out during a shoot out, and I was on my way to my car. Tenants let their dogs poop right in the walkway and don't pick it up. They just let anyone move in here now. Don’t matter if you pay your rent on time or before time, Living conditions here are unacceptable.”

“They allowed a seshual predator to move in. My neighbor showed me. She was notified by Houston PD by email. look it up online yourself. It's there and it's scary. seshual predator registration site. I pray for everyone at that complex. It is very unsafe. The place should be bulldozed and I pray a church is built on the property. Buckets of holy water needs to be poured all around the property. The ----- hides in all corners of the complex. You hear the spirits of those who were lost their life on the property at night.”

“Before renting please look into these apts. The staff is very rude and nothing ever gets fixed. I've only been here a month and they refuse to give me info on breaking my lease even when I agreed to pay the fees. Do not rent from here”

“If you love the show First 48 then you'll love it here! I've been here 3 years and this community has gone to hell and the new management don't care at all. They need to get rid of everyone in the office starting with Sandra Morfin and Keena her protege and work their way down. The amenities you get are burglarized cars, robberies, mailbox break-ins, dog poop everywhere, loud/lewd residents, gunshots, murders and let's not forget mold! Please read the reviews because they are real! The location and accessibility to the major interstates, great schools and the bayou are the only things I love. Besides that I hate The Life at Jackson Square look at the name it sounds like a mortuary Beware and stay far away!”

“The apartments have new owners/ management and they are just as bad as the other management.Very incompetent & not professional .The lady named Priscilla answers the phone with an attitude.One of the leasing ladies think everything is a joke..The staff is dishonest. This is people's time & money that you're playing with.GROW UP! The new prices are ridiculous!The walls have bad insulation, so you will hear the neighbors walk, talk, yelling, fighting, music. Some of the people over here are quiet and keep to themselves, but the majority is disruptive and disrespectful. They smoke weed outside, they leave their dog poop on the grounds, they double park in assigned spaces.These apartments need to be reconstructed ! When I moved here I noticed rat droppings so I started looking for holes and I discovered LARGE HOLES BEHIND MY STOVE AND UNDER MY KITCHEN CABINETS. The carpet was old & I really had to deep clean this apartment & also had to get glue traps to catch the rat.We also had to dispose it.YUCK.. The police is called to this property often and there are several noticable broken windows through out the property.Also there is sewage outside of my patio door .DISGUSTING! I am impatiently waiting until my lease is up.”

“Very unsafe place and would not recommend anyone to stay here. I had a terrible experience from the time I moved in until the time I moved out. They do not care about your safety here at all. Has roaches and shootouts nearly every night.”

“the service in the office is terrible when you call for no reason they answer with a bad attitude the laundries are all bankrupt you call and they don't care they charge extra for everything I don't recommend the terrible violence every day you hear gunshots”

“It was the worst experience living over here. If you like murder, faulty appliances, and no resolutions then you’ve found your place. Oh and roaches too. Front office won’t do anything and just ignore”

“Maintenance and staff are very polite. The apartments location is extremely convenient. I wanted to mention the positives before I voiced the negatives. A neighbor of mine was robbed at gun point and management said nothing. A murder was committed Christmas Eve and the new management said nothing. How my family found out about that one was by watching the local news. I understand crime can happen anywhere so we can’t fault the management for that. My apartment is infested with roaches, rats, and knats I contact the office request pest control. Pest control comes and nothing gets resolved. Finally after doing research I order my own pest control products online and resolve the issue myself. Even though I pay all these fees for basic assistance nothing ever gets resolved. Now the new management sends out letters stating since there’s a COVID-19 increase this month in January they will no longer be doing basic maintenance. They will only be doing emergency maintenance. Meaning they will only risk there employees health to protect there asset. My vents are filled with mold. Everything else is either patched or rigged to work already. I’m just so frustrated excuse the grammar. My advice to new renters is do your research. Review every online source you can find before your decision. See the community at night and ask a current resident what’s it like living here.”

“Priscilla, Mike, Paul, Adam, & Mercedes are very rude and unprofessional. Maintenance never response to your request the same day, unless your house is flooding or sparks coming from the plugs. They do a horrible job in repairing as well. I Can’t Wait Until My Lease Is Up.”

“Im currently in my apt. My water in my kitchen sink is completely stopped up. I called maintenance TWICE in 3 hours and no one showed up. Something told me to check my kitchen again.. water was coming through the dishwater along with WORMSSSS! How unsanitary and I have a two year old! Also infested w/ ants & roaches! Don’t waste your time!”

“I have just about two months living here. I like the area but one of my big concern is the security The gates that are located close to my apartment are without locks and are people entering and leaving all the time. I don't know if are residents or no. Why the managment do not take care of this point. The same for the cleanless of the area are the time are dirts and no maintance are seen. Ia a nice place to live but this lack of security is a big concern for me.”

“overall the apartment complex is really bare minimum. the complex is old. the laundry rooms are old. the residents are geto & do not help keep the area clean. the apartment complex should better screen incoming tenants”

“It's ok. Ada has been very helpful. When I call the office, who ever answer has been polite and are quick to handle the situation good or bad. It was a rough start but things are great know. It's a good community.”
