I have lived here for close to 4 years and I must say every year it gets worse and worse. I hoped every year it would get better, but again I was wrong. Management play FAVORITES a lot here, as well as bend the rules to their "favorite" tenants. Every year the rent goes up, but yet they cannot build a proper playground for the children. Now, they will throw parties for the children and their tenants maybe twice a year, as a community, but they will not fix a thing! Makes us wonder.... where is our money really going? I have the ceiling falling in from a leak caused in my upstairs bathroom, maintanence still hasnt come to fix in a year, even after numerous calls to get it done. Maintanence will fix a problem, not in a timely fashion, when they are ready, and only temporary fix. My father recently had purchased a set of washer/dryer that costs me $2000.00,as a gift, well the set comes with a vent tester to see if the venting system is adaquate enough. So i tested the system and it came back blocked/clogged I called maintanence for the problem and they came out, but started pressing buttons on my dryer, and them even caught one of them crawling on top of my washer, I DONT THINK SO! I asled them to leave and send professionals. The problem didnt get fixed! Management throw personal parties and stay up late with music/noise and always have an excuse why they have permission to throw them. Everyone else on the property has to shut their parties down at 9pm. Security claims there is a curfew, but that only applies to tenants, NOT Management/Maintanence that live on the property! PARKING IS UNBELIEVABLE! HUNTINGTON VILLAGE/CAMBRIDGE APARTMENTS charge $15 every month for reserved parking for their tenants, but does not GUARANTEE you will have a parking close to your apartment. My cars have been vandilized twice and my best friend that also lives on the CAMBRIDGE side (dont get me started on that side) had her car completely gutted out by, more than likely, tenants children. Security was no where to be found here when cars are being broken into or vandilized! Children here are EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL and cuss you out when they want. The rule for animals os $300 per pet, even ones that stay in cages, but that rule only applies to tenants, not management/maintanence that live on property. After saying all of this, I have decided to move as soon as my lease is up, or maybe just leave! I wouldnt recommend this property to even my enemy!

This apartment complex is ------< ------< ------, and by the way did I say ------. If you like lil' kids cussing you out,seeing boys underwear all the time because the sag, then this is the place for you. If you like to come out your front door and being hit in the face with the smell of weed on a daily basis,oh and did I mention that one resident has a weed plant growing on his porch in plain site, then this is the place for you. If you like your property stolen from your patio, then this is the place for you. I have seen with my own eyes a person drive past the dumpsters and stop in the middle of the parking lot and empty the entire contents of trash from her van in the parking lot, close the door and drive on. My air conditioning has not been cooling for two weeks, I have complained several times being it is 109 out side and all I get is the run around. I am told that it is normal for it to sound like a train is on the roof! Yea! Everytime I call the office, I get oh yes ma'am we will be out asap, but they never do. And when and if they do they always try to deflect the blame for the problem and end up either not fixing it or patching it up just to get by. IE, the air conditioner.Just called the office to get the number for corporate office and I basically had to promise my first born to get the number. Called corp and they were just as secretive. Wouldnt even give me the name of the company. WOW! I am to expect a call back. I WONT hold my breath. The apartments are huge for the money, but for me the Ghettoness is not worth it. You get what you pay for. My mom actually rents the apartments but I am going to start renting an apartment here pretty soon. I have used this website to look around for apartments in the Houston area and I have to say that for the money that I am looking to spend, this apartment complex is probably the best for the price. The proof is in the residents. The apartment complex is completely occupied. They have a waiting list to get in. Yes it is not the prettiest or the newest but people keep to themselves. The only complaints I would say is the teenagers do get loud at the pool during the summer, my mom's car has been broken into several times (car was unlocked), and parking does suck in some places. No bug problems, no other issues.

Roaches and mice infested apartments. PLASTER FELL DOWN FROM THE CEILING IN THE LIVING ROOM. LEAKS FROM THE RAIN OUTSIDE COMING INTO THE LIVING ROOM. Me and my wife at that time skipped out on our lease because someone broke into our apartment. It is not safe there live. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR ANYONE TO RENT! I THINK THAT THE PLACE IS RUN BY SLUM LORDS! THE PLACE IS HORRIBLE! THE WHOLE PLACE NEEDS TO BE RENOVATED! FOR GOD'S SAKE, DON'T THINK ABOUT LIVING THERE!!!!! THE PLACE SUCKS!!!!

this place has its up and downs but the crime rep. has been blasting up like in major amounts.

i have lived here for about two years and the apts. are great and spacious. they have really good prices for the units,they have been remodeling the apts. lately so they look even better. the office staff in nice and curtious, and their maintance crew is great and very efficient.

I BEEN LIVING HERE FOR ABOUT TWO YAERS NOW. I LOVE THIS PLACE, THE UNIT IS HUGE AND A GOOD PRICE. MY UNIT LOOKS REALLY NICE. mAINTENANCE IS ALWAYS ON TIME TO FIX MY PROBLEMS. WE HAVE A GREAT SECURITY. I ALWAYS SEE THW SHERRIF AROUN OUR PROERTY I JUST LOVE THI SPLACE ITS THE BEST PLACE I CAN LIVE IN. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND ANYONE T LIVE HERE!!!! :) DONT FORGET ABOUT THE OFFICE STAFF THEY ARE GREAT AND FRIENDLY.

this is the most worst place i ever live in,u find all cain of problems here.roaches infested unit,drug dealers,and most recently rape cases of a few residents,laundry rooms awfull.parking lots,inexperienced people in the office starting with the supposed manager.maintenance soo bad a/c bill from $200.00 to $500.00 or more,a/c units in bad shape,my ceramic tile in the bathroom falling down,a lot of roof leaks,very inexperienced maintenance people with the exeption of one person.

In the beginning, we services were good, but it started going downhill. They are slow about fixing things, and always finding excuses to try not to fix them. Management is full of s***. I live right behind the leasing office and I've had a rat in my apartment for a month and all they have done was put glue traps out. That isn't fair! Every time i complain about it, i always get the same poor excuse. I can't wait for my lease to be up! I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy! I hope they clean this place up, because it's terrible! There needs to be a "care attitude" instead of a "next" type of attitude!

This complex is a great deal for the cost....if you aren't rich, this is the spot for you. I have two boys, there are plenty of kids around here and my apartment was very clean when I moved in. Maintenance takes care of any problems I have very quickly. I would recommend this property to families saving up for a house, it's affordable and quiet except after school, there are many kids but as a parent that is a plus...
