This place is infested with roaches and low life's. The "wood flooring" is actually laminate and not worth a penny. The excess charges for electricity is over bearing on top of the rent. You will go over the utility EVERY month, even during the winter break. The staff will not login your shipments and occasionally will misplace them for a few days. Oxford has places that are a lot nicer for cheaper price. DO NOT waste your money on Lafayette place.

rent to too many thugs, that isn't the best area in Houston but it dosen't have to be the worst either. if you like gunfights and bullets then this is the place for you

I resided here and the noise as well as the overcrowding was ridiculous. At one point there were 14 people living in a one bedroom apartment above me......There was also a fire there in 07/2001 and the space took 5 months to clear and when it was cleared they were supposed to put a playground there, but they didn't. I moved shortly later...great place to live if you like bullets and drunks!!!!!
