The apartment itself wasn´t that special. It did have a few problems: dishwasher leaked, outside circuit breaker needed to be replaced, phone lines were bad for DSL, but these were all repaired in a timely manner. The apartment did have an alarm system, but the complex did have a contract witht the alarm company any more, so the alarm was useless. The neighborhood had...character. By character, I mean prostitutes, armys of them. and drug dealers, and pimps, etc. Now, I never had any problems with those people, they never came inside the complex. My problem was the day I moved out...my neighbor offered to help, but I declined because I was almost done. When I came back that evening, I found my neighbor and a friend of his who also stayed in the complex INSIDE my apartment. They had broken in through the sliding door (which was completely locked). Luckilly, I had already moved most of my stuff out and I was able to get one of those idiots arrested, but that shows you the type of people living there.

THE FRONT OFFICE IS VERY NICE AND RESPECTFUL. THEY EVEN REMEMBER YOUR NAME AND YOUR APARTMENT NUMBER. THE MAINTENANCE CREW IS EXCELLENT. WHEN YOU CALL SOMETHING IN TO BE FIXED THEY WOULD BE OUT THERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE IF IT IS A EMERGENCY. THE PROPERTY IS VERY SECURE. THEY HAVE A RELIABLE SECURITY COMPANY THAT CHECKS THE PROPERTY VERY FREQUENTLY. I TELL ANYONE PARK PLACE APARTMENTS IS THE BEST APARTMENTS ON WOODFAIR.
