This apartment is total anarchy. Granted the outer appearence proves worthy and looks as if it would be an amazing experience. However, the place is littered with silverfish, and roaches. Due to the unfinished nature of lofts, and the holes left unsealed, this is a serioius problem. For $2600 a month, this is far beyond unsatisfactory. We're from New Orleans, and are renting as a workgroup. The prices ARE scattered. Price gouging is another issue. We priced a penthouse, and the cheapest was $5100. However, one of the other residents wound up renting one for $3100.00 (With the $600.00 per month furniture fee.) The old management was fired for this. Two other folks have the identical floor plan to my apartment, and are paying $900 less. We were told we were getting an outstanding deal, I recommend you head on over to the Rice Lofts, right down the street. Living here, is like relaxing in a project. You walk outside, trust me, a roll of quarters will be your best friend. The neighborhood leaves me a bit off easy, however it's supposedly not a dangerous part of town. The metro train makes noise all night, hobos screaming, along with sirens, and elevator noise add to this annoyance. Valet parking was said to be available, however it is required, and no guests of residents will be parked. The valet does not speak english, and has wrecked two cars, including my own.....The NEW management is much better, however, the whole situation is total chaos, and for the price, you deserve better. Take your business somewhere else.

This place is great! Eventhough there aren't extreme ammenities, we get valet parking and direct tunnel access from inside! Not to mention free cable! My loft home is in the heart of downtown minutes away from midtown and seconds away from downtown restraunts and bars. The management has been nothing but nice to me during my stay...and the only problem I have encounterd is a burned out light! I highly recommend Kirby Lofts!!!!

Constantly shifting management, broken promises --- including the gym, restaurant, and reserved parking which have never materialized. Elevators nasty and broken at least weekly. Slow maintenance.

Beware, bad management - amenities not there!
