Dear Houston 311 -I'm contacting you regarding some deep concerns about the structure, state of repair, and leasing practices of the Rice Loft Apartments, managed by Greystar, at 909 Texas Street in the central business district.The building has 18 floors - 16 of which are residential. Each residential floor is supposed to have a laundry room with two washers and two dryers. These are constantly out of service, or worse yet, malfunctioning - such as a washer that would flash an error message mid
There is a release of raw sewage at the basement of the residential building and it's causing an unhealthy odor to the building occupants. The source and cause of the release is unknown.
