Stay away from these apartments. They are old moldy and have water leaks all the time!! Management is horrible and don't care about customer service at alll!!!!!! Worst apartment complex we've ever lived on and I would not recommend anyone to live here. They make the appearance nice from the outside but there plumbing and inside is horrible, please don't come here, they over charge you in rent for a apartment that is falling apart.

Jessica the new manager is a ----- and everything is considered ------ under her supervision. They take months to do work orders, they rely only in Robert to do maintenance calls and to do make readys. Markable assistant manager doesn't have proper training and NEVER PUTS IN WORK ORDERS HAVE TO CONSTANTLY REMIND THEM. RENT went up before they gave upgrades. Horrible staff eveyone is moving out. Miss the old company. Little boy got robbed at gun point, people doors kicked in, one instant the thief had a uhaul as they robbed residents all day and office did nothing. Horrible place to live

Honestly, the only good thing about living here is that, my husband works 10 minutes away. Other than than, since we moved in on 06/19/2012, we have had problems left and right. Are townhome was infested with fleas, prior to the owner that lived here before us. For two whole days, we could not be in our place, cuz it was just that bad. My husband had flea bites all over his legs and just constantly scratching. We were told someone came out to spray flea killer, but as soon as we came back home. The fleas appeared again. My husband himself bought flea killer and bombed our apt. My husband was never reimbursed for his money. Next thing you know, roaches started appearing out of nowhere. We notified the office manager and we were told that they would come to our apt the next day. Well, days went by and weeks. Nobody ever came out to take care of the situation. Once again,my husband took care of and again, did not get reimbursed. As soon as all the fleas and roaches were gone for good. We started noticing a leakage in the kitchen ceiling. Notified the office, and it took them weeks for a damn maintenance to come out and fix the leakage. All they did was patch up the hole thst was created from water leaking and that was it. As days went by, the leakage appeared again. Again, management took forever to do something about. We would call and complain, leave voicemails, leave letters. And it just seemed like they did not care. The ceiling wad developing mold cuz the leakage was coming from a busted pipe that connected to the toilet. It got to the point where, I just couldn't cook in that condition. It took them 2 months to finally fix the damn problem. But till this day, the kitchen ceiling still has a whole that was never fixed. As a resident, if there are issues that need to be taking care of, especially when my husband pays the rent 3 days in advance and never late. I would have expected for the office managers to take care of it right away. I have a 10 month old chihuahua and due to the mold, my poor baby has developed an infection in his lungs and now has made it hard for him to breathe cuz his lungs are blocked with fungal infection. I do not recommend this apartments to anyone. Yes they are cheap, but now I can see why. I can't wait till our lease is up in june, cuz I have had enough of this. I really am considering on calling the health department.

The apartment personnel was very nice and so were my neighbors. I lived in the apartments 1 year and 6 months. The rent was cheap and I was only 10 minutes from my wor. I lived in the Greenspoint area for at least 8 years. I also still work in the area. This was the last complex I lived in while living in Greenspoint. I'm not sure why but when I gave notice that I was going to move two days later my apartment was burgarlized. I have lived in Houston since 1985 and that was the first time that ever happened to me. My neighbor who also had just got married and decided to move came home and found his apartment broken into the day before mine was hit. All my things that were worth anything were taken. It could of just been a coincidence, but I would be careful. I know whoever it was knew that both myself and my neighbors left early and didn't return early. They went through everything and even sat down to eat. They drank my neighbor's champagne and ate the top layer of the his wedding cake that was saved for one year later. The office personnel did call my job to let me know that someone had broken in when my son went to the office after he came home from school.

I have lived here for 4 years and it honestly has it's good and bad things about it. The Bad is that it's in the hood, right in greenspoint aka gunspoint, and the area is just bad. We moved here initially because of the price because they are cheap but there is too much crime going on here. The first 3 years were awful in terms of the crime. There was killings, shootings, robberies in the homes and cars but thanks to God our apartment has never been broken into but our cars have a numerous amount of times. It got better after the third year when the management came in, the two ladies, (nubia n i forgot the other's name) but then just last month someone got shot again. There is a pest problem here and it is horrible, the roaches crawl on the beds and no matter what i have done...call pest control, set traps, sprayed raid everywhere they just don't go away because the apartment has a lot of cracks n whole in them. They are a good price and the management is nice and when something needs to be fixed they are very attentive in doing so but I don't recommend it for people with kids and I will be moving in a month when my contract is over! wuuuhuu I'm so excited!

I like living here. I didn't know about the "Greenspoint" area because I was new to town and found the complex to be fairly nice. Its close to my office building and i can walk to work. But this apartment complex is a lot smaller then others in the area I was about to move in to and that's a plus. The complex down the street makes Northpark look high-end lol. The rent is VERY fair for the area and I had considered moving the 1st month after my coworkers said they wouldn't live here. Everyone has their version of "unsafe"... For some people, having too much ethnicity is unsafe to them. Some people its not having enough lighting. Depends on the persons... There is ample parking even during the holidays and weekends. The pool and grounds are always kept clean. And the grounds would be a lot nicer if people wouldn't thrown their trash out the car. I would not recommend using the on-site laundry facilities. The machines are always taking money. Or if they do accept the money , you have to pray it works. I do have a problem with roaches but I treat my apartment once a month with that one gallon Hot Shot commercial stuff and I placed bait in my trouble spots. I have only seen a few baby roaches here and there but nothing major. But I did have a problem at first with all the dead roaches I had to pick up. Then there is this kid with a blue Mustang that refuses to fix his alarm. It goes off if a feathers draft touches it. I find it extremely annoying when he parks the car near my unit. Plus I got home one night and saw his car was broken into and the police were there. I wanted to tell them even though he has an alarm, its like hearing the boy who cried wolf. Then the LOUD!!! Mexican music but they turn it off at a decent time and only have a real party on the weekends. Cant get mad at people having an actual life. But I feel pretty safe considering what I hear about the area. But I am well aware of my surroundings at ALL times no matter where I am.

Pros *grounds are kept clean *pool is clean *no one has been harmed on the grounds lately that I am aware of *office people are always nice *Pets are welcome by neighbors and office alike. *Neighbors around here, for the most part, are super nice. *There was trouble with keeping lights on around the complex, it was dangerously dark, the new maintenance guy seems to keep the grounds well lit now. *That loud speaking spanish lady who works here, she is super nice. *This complex survived with little damage the previous hurricane. I have never seen the parking lot flood. *New paint was applied recently and broken boards were replaced on balconies, though they missed mine because they were behind bushes. *Rent is a nice price. Cons *not enough parking *noisy neighbor, rude, smoker, kind of crazy *maintenance could use some help, with manners, efficiency, and professionalism *two people were killed here after two months of living here; right before moving in (lease already signed) I read about a man who was shot and survived because he had his cell phone on him, it was my apartment he lived in from what I have been told (note; this is my third signed lease since that time) *New strange man around trying to get you out of your apartment by claiming your car was broken into. *my car does appear to have been tampered with but was undamaged (kids?) *many kids go unsupervised, running around yelling (but there is really no place large enough for them to play) *a lady employed here is always talking spanish, loudly outside my bedroom window early during the day (I am a night shift worker) *The walkway to my apartment floods every time it rains. *The laundry area keeps breaking down, entirely. *There are a few pot holes in the parking area that need fixing. It is impossible to deny that the pros and cons cancel each other. There is a true community here, which has accepted and welcomed me, but there are also alot of shifty characters here and there. My plans were to continue living here as I save for a condo. We'll see....
