I been here for years, i seen a lot of things, people and managers come and go. Ms Tony still hanging. I aint never had no roaches, rats or nothing. It sounds like the 2 bad reviews is the same person or they trying to make Ms. Tony look bad. She is upfront and straightforward, some people dont like that, they call it rude and unprofessional. i like it, i like the rules. I see good changes, its been nice and quiet around here.

BED BUGS ARE ALL THROUGH THE APARTMENTS! They have a roach infestation, THEY NEVER FIX ANYTHING ( 1 maintenance guy who is over worked and treated like crap ) The front office lady Toni is very rude and unprofessional , she gets into with so many tenants. MR ward the owner lets her get away with anything and believe everything she say. She gossips and talks another everyone business who late on rent who moving out who sleeping with who. She watch every single thing at first i felt safe but after hearing people business floating around i felt harassed! This is the worst property iv ever lived in and i wouldn’t recommend this property if it was given away for free. ask any current resident the review is 100 percent legit

well let me just say DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME @ CHESAPAEAKE VILLIAGE APARTMENTS. !!!! Its not worth the money when stuff needs to be fixed in your unit they take they time by fixing the problem. recently moved from here last week and i could not take it anymore. have been requesting certain things to be fixed in my apartment and its has never got done. also went to the owner Mr. ward he did not follow through as well as Ms Toni but when you walk around with other residents discussing other residents business such as who sleeping with who, or who late on rent or who are hoes on property!!! yet along Ms. Toni asked personal questions in front of other residents that should have been a two person convo not including third party. I use to stay in these apartments back in the 90's and moved out and through out the years i came back thinking it would be the same but SURPRISE ITS NOT!!!!I also upon exiting the property my locks on the mail box was changed she didnt not allow me time to get my mail switched however i was able to do so and retrieve my mail , but then again how could you treat a faithful rent payer? Ms toni did not care nor even bothered to ask what else needed to be done, its a shame how they do the one matience man mr alvin he literally has no help at all. but im just glad to be finally away from the slum and trash. yall please dont not go past green to Chesa Peake village apartments its not worth the time nor money. !!!!!!!! you would be amazed how they treat residents especially the ones who pay they full fledge rent on time .

First let me start of by saying how PISSED i am for wasting my money in this ---- Hole. First off the management is way worse than Horrible i have lived here since Jan of 2007 the new management was just taking over Or should i say "Manager, Mantience, Security Guard, HouseKeeping" any staff that you can name that an apartment complex would have this "One (1) guy" does it all his Cheapass tries to do everything on his own, the office is never open you have to call him on his cell to reach him when you report a problem he says he will handle it but you will find yourself waiting for months and the upkeep has gone down really bad 2. The light bills i have a 1 bedroom which is 763sqft which is very good, but there is an electrical problem in the entire apartments which causes Very high light billS my light bill ranges from $200-$360 i have never had a light bill in the 100's i work allday so i dont understand it but management wont look into the problem 3. it is very quite really to damn quite everyone stays to themselves but my car has been broken into 3 times in the past 5mts this is a horrible area but because of the apartment being so quite its an easy target cars get broken into atleast "Once or Twice a week" I Swear Everything i am telling you is soo true the crime rate for this area is very high anyway PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, THINK TWICE, THREE, FOUR TIMES BEFORE MOVING HERE YES THe COMPLEX IS SMALL AND QUITE BUT IT IS NOT WORTH THe HEADACHE NOT BECAUSE OF THE PROPERTY BUT BECAUSE OF THIS ONE GUY WHO TRIES TO DO IT ALL IF I KNEW I WOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS I SHOULD HAVE MOVED OFF OF DESOTO OR TIDWELL

Chesapeake Village is an ok place to stay. Considering the price of these new luxury apartments, Chesapeake Village's rent is good. Some good things about the complex include: rental rate, basic cable is free, screened patio, small community (72 units), quiet. However, the good is overshadowed by the bad. Management does not seem to genuinely care about the tenants. Management needs a traing class in customer service. Management does not follow up with tenants when an issue is reported. For the past 4 years I have had issues with my A/C unit. There does not seem to be much concern from management. The parking spots are too small and the lines need to be repainted. Vehicles have been vandalized and broken into. I still feel somewhat safe (no place in Houston is 100% safe). I would recommend this complex to someone who desperately needs somewhere to stay or to someone who just can't afford a luxury apartment.
