check this,,after hurricane Katrina. we did get a big influx of people, some were good people but also alot were bad individuals who caused alot of property damages that took the new management some time to clean up. In my experience as a resident is that of the golden rule. If you walk around being disrespectfull then thats the treatment you will recieve. But if your nice and courteous you will be precieved as just that My Brother, I am a pround BLACK MAN who has seen and done and will be the first to Exclaim that I have not Witnessed any discrimination and as a matter of fact I NOTICED A BLACK MAN working for them in maitenece and turns out he has been employed with them for three or four years. So Quit trying to pull the race card you stupid CRACKHEADS

I was here 2005 I left this property due to crime drugs and prostitucion. in 2007 when i heard abouth the pleace clean up i rented back is so diferent after the new manager clean the propery i recomend any family to rent at this pleace.

I have been a resident for some time now and all I can say is that since the new management took over there has been nothing but positive changes around here. No longer do I see drugs being sold and offered to passerbys, Including all the people that used to walk around carry'ing guns like if it was a stronghold of some sort. Now there is security guards out patroling the place and they do come at individuals who are up to no good. I do see the difference in the maintenece care I recieve wich is on time and these guys actually do their job right

We can not let them get away with this, it's time we fight back. I want to start a law suit against them, if we all come together we can win. How many people, how many familes they gon do this to before enough is enough. And if we don't stop it now, it'll never stop. Just think about how many familes were toss out in the streets with no place to go, because (alma) mess there name up. I could give you one, me. Do she know how it feel to have the constables come and throw you and your kids on the streets. She has no heart, let's not have none nither. Let's throw them out. I LIVED IN THOSE APTS FOR 3 YEARS, I'M FROM NEW ORLEANS AND DEHAP WAS PAYING MY RENT. MY PHONE WAS DISCONNECTED, SO DEHAP DID NOT PAY THE RENT FOR 2 MONTHS AND I WAS NOT AWARD OF IT, UNTIL I WAS SERVED TO GO TO COURT. I WENT TO COURT THE FOLLOWING WEEK, THE MANGER DID NOT APPEAR IN COURT SHE GOT ONE OF HER EMPLOYEE'S TO SHOW, AND SHE WERE LYING THE WHOLE TIME IN COURT. THE JUDGE ASKED THEM HOW DID I RECIVED NOTICE ABOUT THE RENT NOT BEING PAID AND SHE REPLY THEY PUT NOTICE UNDER MY DOOR, THAT WAS NOT TRUE. I CALLED THE OFFICE AND TALKED TO SOMEONE AND SHE LIED AND TOLD ME THAT SHE GAVE ME THE NOTICE ABOUT THE RENT

The office people are all related.The only want --------- in the apartments.If people of color is outside after 9 they want to put notices on your door and give you a fine but it is one of them they do nothing.They don't fix nothing.My A/C breaks every week.The property is dirty.The kids vandalize your car.I had a kid write something in spanish on my car and the office did nothing.Alma(manager)does nothing but defend her people but we try to they try to put us out.I would not advise no one to stay here.

The staff in the apartment are prejudice against ------ and everyone in the office are family related. The manager is married to the head Maintance man and the sister does the leasing in the office. People let there children mess the tenants cars and do not want to be responsible for the damages. There trash all over the property expecially by dumpster. The head maintance and his wife the manager like to harrass people expecially the one that are black. I also had an incident when my cousin came to visit the gate completly closed on her brand new car and the office refuse to pay for the damages, meanwhile there was no sign put up on the entrance gate. I'ts when after that incident happened they put the sign up. I don not recomened these apartments to anyone only if you want to be harrassed and not have a good staff.

Dirty exterior, students and lower class peoples

This is the slums, for real. I went to visit my cousin who I hadn't seen in five years. My aunt told me she would be having a baby soon, so I wanted to pay her a visit before she went to the hospital. My God, I was in tears when I saw the place. The halls literally look like something in an overexaggerated movie about Bronx projects and poverty or something or black people on welfare or something. The walls are stained with what looks like body fluids, including blood, trash in the halls, large holes in the walls, lights flickering on and off, you might see a prostitute or two, drug dealers, roaches, screaming and fighting neighbors, a child or two laughing or crying, terrible paint jobs, vomit on the concrete, and that's before you even get to the apartment door. The apartment door looks like a 1970's office building entrance door. Meanwhile, inside was okay for a first impression because my cousin keeps her house really clean. But my God, the grounds themselves are grounds to never move here. This place was REALLY nice about ten years ago. I just don't know what happened. I wish our people would really get with the program and want better for themselves and their lives instead of leaving things like this open for the rest of the world to continue to label us as.

I am a new resident to this complex and stupidly only chose this one for the price. I should have known that you get what you pay for. I haven't been here a whole two months yet, and my water has been shut off three times WITHOUT notice, air conditioner stopped working twice, and its cold outside and we have been without heat for two days now. The only reason i haven't left is to keep my good rental history, but if i knew how to report these people and to whom, I would do so immediately. Please, anyone thinking of moving here, run away FAST!
