This place is Awesome! My mom lives here and I have has a great experience. Marcial, the maintenance man, is fast, courteous, friendly and professional. Daniel and Jackie are the same and customer friendly service!

I have lived here for more than four years starting in 2016. Golden Bamboo Village 3 was nice and clean when it first started out. And the staff and management was friendly in the beginning. Then as time progressed, the appliances and furnishings went bad because they were bought of low quality. My microwave broke, my dishwasher as well. There was water leaking in my apartment as well as many other residents. Last year in 2020, they changed management. A new manager by the name of Daniel stepped in. The guy is a smooth talker but when you need something done, he takes a very long time doing it or he doesn't reply to you. I will list the other things that go wrong at this place: 1. From time to time, the entry gate breaks down and takes months to repair. Cars go in and out as they please. Many resident cars have been broken into. 2. The wood fence that borders the back perimeter has huge gaps underneath. It allows trespassers to climb underneath. Not very safe for most of us elderly residents!!! 3. They will charge a late fee of $63.00! That is pretty high for seniors on fixed incomes. And you're forced to setup and pay online. Not easy for seniors who were accustomed to paying at the front office in person. 4. The maintenance guy will take his time coming for repairs. He's a bit rude when you talk with him on the phone. 5. Again, be aware of Daniel the manager. He's good at one thing, and that's not replying to you.

I'm surprised that no one has left a review yet; regarding this property. Anyone who knows how apartments are rented please pay attention. The key point in marketing an apartment is the entire complex. To see if it is clean, neat, tidy, and livable. Your point of entry begins at the front door. If you walk the property at this complex you will see for yourself that this place does not hold a high nor moderate standard. You can see the mold, smell the must, see the trashy and untidy halls. The gate is broken and they do not provide Security. Their have been many break in's of apartments and vehicles. The swimming pool has yet to be cleaned and certified as acceptable by the Health Department. The people that live there are Seniors, which should be provided with Security, clean halls, and a good standard of living. The purpose of maintenance, included in the rent, is to take care and maintain the property, and it is not being done there, yet the rent continues to climb. I had a family member living there who always felt unsafe, unprotected, and ashamed that she lived there. This property needs to be inspected thoroughly by the City of Houston, along with the Health Department. My heart goes out to the residents that have no choice and are stuck there. My hope is that someone take notice of all the many violations and infractions being masked, and take full charge of cleaning up this mess.
