These apartments are ridiculous, I never have hot water and sometimes no water at all, the faculty is horrible and very disrespectful. The apartments have no access gates anyone could gain access in and out of the complex. U can never get hold to the office when there is an emergency. They dont fix anything you would be better off fixing it yourself if you want it to be done.

I used to teach English classes here at night. I heard gunshots go off repeatedly and my students were afraid to leave their aparments after dark. On top of that the apartments are full of roaches and generally dirty. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

I lived here for 3 years,my grandma 5 years ,and aunt 4 years.the place wasn't the best of the best ,this neighborhood is ------,a kill here and there, ect. But,after the KATRINA evacuees ,and the manager,2005,which probably didn't even know addition and subtraction. And had a teenage girl has her assistant.things went real bad ,my grandma's downstair neighbor's apt. caught fire because of old air conditioner, all here belonging were ,burn ,the best management could do is give her a 1 months rent free, and move her to another apt.The old lady was washing her burn greasy toaster and other belongings outside.Since the manager knew she was going to get fired, she kicked out everyone that argued with her over the apt. maintaine,or she didn't like, including my grandmother, she told her you cannot renew your contract because i don't want you here.I'm sorry to say this but based on all the evacuees i've seen, their lazy, drug dealers, theft, drug addicts.I used to see from my grandmas apt. lousiana evacuees drug dealing and smocking weed in mid afternoon,in front of children and families in the parking lots.Once I over heard a neighbor telling her daughter your dumb you should have put your sister's address and said you were affected completely by the hurricane,so they could have given you the check, they had big screen tv,nice clothes, new ford truck, they even offered my grandma some brand new nikes.Yet i never saw them looking for work ,I even found gift cards thrown downstairs, like they were millionaires. How do you want this people to get a job,go back to lousiana,if the government are probiding them with everything.Heck I wouldn't leave especially if i didn't like working ,before the hurricane, and didn't even had my own place.
