This is the best place to live if you love; 1. Bedbugs 2. Rats 3.Roaches 4. No Parking 5.High Rent 6. Loud Music(late at night, sorry I don't want to listen to YOUR music everyday). Never got dishwasher fixed(told by maintenance to just use it to let my dishes dry). The staff is very rude,( I'm not saying be my friend but at least speak). Make sure you pay your rent on time (because they can't count) but don't expect anything to get fixed (for a week to two months). When I moved in back in 2004 it was ok, small problems you could handle, helpful friendly staff but now I'm getting the heck out of here. Since new owner my rent has increased at least $50.00 with each new lease.

The new management has transformed this place 100%. Everything was upgraded - new AC units, new roofs, new paint, new club house and lots more. New staff in the office is very nice and I like the way they show real care for me when I had a leak in the apartment. Good job!!!!

I have been living here for the last six months and I'm moving out. The parking is a big problem. My wife and I each have a car and paying $600 for the apartments I don't want to pay them $25 for a Reserved Parking which they over exagerate because the mayority of parking is reserved and you can't find a regular space. The apartments needs some improvements. When you're about to move in they don't have the apartment ready by the time they told you. The refrigerators don't even work, they get this weird smell I guess because they're TOO old. The dishwasher we have never use it because it is so nasty inside as well as old. Power has run out a couple of times already. They have loundry facilities however they machines do work but they rip your clothes apart. We have seen some roaches but I think we have not seen more because we sprayed everything down when we got here. They have "Pest Control" every tuesday but it seems that they don't do anything. The only GOOD thing is that water is free. I would recommend you to not move into this apartment complex if you don't want to experience any of these issues. Good Luck!!

The problems I have had here since I moved in on 04/2010 are: BED BUGS!!!! Roaches!!! They do not have an exterminating company. They will reimburse $50 off your next months rent if you give them the receipt. A bed bug extermination company came out about 2 weeks ago. I had to prepare for the extermination which is a huge job to do (including removing ALL SOCKET PLATES!), which should have been done by the apt. maint. and not the tenant (especially when they have small children like I do). I am moving out because of this problem!! My 2 yr. old kept having bites ALL OVER his little body (that's how we discovered them)! Took him to the Dr. too...now he has scars on his arms from all the scratching he did. Maintenance: The maintenance does suck! You have to keep bugging the office to get things fixed! I don't do phone calls, or go in person! And I recommend to you all, anywhere you live, ALWAYS write LETTERS to ANY INQUIRY!!!! It is your only protection and proof if you ever need it! And you have to keep staying on top of the maintenance, keep bugging by letters if they haven't fixed your problem within a reasonably, timely manner. Parking: Parking sucks too! You have to pay to have a covered parking. Visitors cannot just park anywhere. They have a designated parking area for visitors and it's on the other side of the apt. that I live in or out on the street. They do tow cars here if they don't belong here. Office staff: They are pretty nice, but they can very easily get rude! And when they get rude, they get rude!!! I had put up a sign on my window that I wanted to sale food in the evenings (everyone else does it around here. I figured I could make some extra money doing it too!). I wasn't home, but they came knocking on the door and my teen daughter answered the door. They were threatening to call the city, we have to put that sign down, we can't sale food from our apt., etc... OK, that's fine, but the attitude they used was horrible! My daughter was so upset because of how rude they were to her! Trash: The dumpsters are horrible!!!! They are ALWAYS back up, with trash OUTSIDE the dumpster! They need at least 2 or 3 more, I would say! Other than that, I have not had any other problems! I do feel safe here. But, I cannot live with BED BUGS! I had to throw away bedroom and living room furniture and they are not going to pay you back for that! According to other tenants that have lived here for 3 yrs. say the office has BEEN knowing about the bed bugs and when I first told them about it, they said "It's the first we've heard about it. The person before you never mentioned any bed bug problems!" Of coarse, that pissed me off!

Pricing is Good for the area, but the Maintenance sucks ---! The Garbage area looks like a Junkyard every single week! And the Ladies in the office have the priorities all Wrong.

---- you Stone Haven!!! Their management is BAAAAD!!!! I thought i would had a little bit a peace in this place but no!!! I currently live there I reported my AC since Saturday...its Monday and they have not fixed it IT'S ----IN HOT MY MOM'S PRESSURE HAS GONE UP!...I reported it on Saturday @ 1:20 pm LILI (RECEPTIONIST) said somebody will be on their way....no body came!!! My mom went 2 hrs before they closed she asked lili so is maintenance going to pass through , receptionist said, that I did not report the AC that I said the roof was leaking...basically she called me a liar! How dare u when u asked me if the roof in the restroom was leaking because if its not theres not problem with the ac! thats what she said, how dare she say something diffrent to my mom. ----- just ignored my mom and said their are 4 people in front of u...maintenance to my knowledge never physically came to check my ac...The owner of these apartments should know that if he is losing business if due to the negligence of his staff....It's just my mom and I. Is it because we are females they dont give a dam?! ------- I got rights I'm a ----in citizen...oh forgot to mentioned they got a lot people that live with 8 people in one bedroom...The carpet has not been changed in like 6 yrs...My mom just went today to ask if they were going to fix the AC today the MAIN MANAGER TOLD MY MOM THAT THERE ARE 8 PEOPLE IN LINE BEFORE THEY GET TO US!!! If r planning to move here make sure u have the rent on time if not they will take u to court...forget about good service they dont give dam.. ITS ----IN HOT IN HOUSTON I PAY MY RENT ON TIME AND THAT HOW U TREAT A CUSTOMER! ONCE I FINISH MY CONTRACT I'M LEAVING...

This property was on my list of places near my work, and I even went out there to look at them, but then I went home and did my homework. Check the TXDPS website. See for yourself. This complex is right behind a school. There are two registered sex offenders listed as living on the property. One of them has a RED symbol for being HIGH RISK. And the reviewer below says this is the safest complex in the neighborhood? What drugs are they on?

THere area lot of apartments in this area, and Stonehaven is the safest. While other properties just rent to anyone, and have police at thier place all the time, Stonehaven is much more quite becasue they try to keep out the bad people. They set up after school classes for the kids to learn to read. Where else would they go to so mauch trouble to make your life easier. I would recomend it.

I understand that in this country we have freedom of speech but I believe we as a whole we dont appreciate as much as we should and complain way to often. When we have had a broken lease due to life getting in the way, or we have gone thru a bad divorce and have to file bankrupcy or loose all you posetions to your spouce and not being able to bounce back from life's situation's I am glad their are people who are willing to help and support people like me and give me a second chance at a new life. As I read thru these comments I think about the day I wanted to show the apartment to my mom and the pregnant girl in the office took me in the rain because the others were at lunch and I said no I dont want you to and she said Its not that big of a deal Im here to help, and your mom's gotta see your bachlorette pad..it put a smile on my face..after all I had been thru someone reached out to make me feel wanted accepted and welcomed. I looked up the information on the police website and no one ever died at the pool...I havent found a roach on my patio much less inside my home...so these are upset people who probably broke there lease or got eveicted i assume. The girls are nice but I was a worried due to the reviews but I thought to myself here is this pregnant lady saying all this great stuff about the place and if she has been her working for a while and she can feel good about this as a single pregnant woman.. I could do it too..and I have and Im happy!

Rented here because I had a friend in the office. The apartment I originally rented and put down a deposit for was really already rented by the manager and she didn't tell anyone, so I had to take another apartment in the back of the complex because I had already given notice at my old apartments. The downstairs neighbor sold drugs and had parties to all hours before they were finally evicted. Neighbors on both sides were -------- and played that raggyton or whatever they call it and all you could hear was the boom boom, boom boom coming through the walls. When I was moving out, I was not finished moving when I came back to the apartment and noticed that some of my stuff was missing. There was no evidence of a break in so someone with a key, probably the office or maintenance staff did it. Of course, that can't be proven, but don't take the chance anyway. This place sucks!
