I have lived here 20 days the longest 20 days of my life it seems. In this I have lived without hot water for 8 days on two occasions once for 2 days then for 6. My teenage son was assaulted by a girl who doesn't live here, there was a shooting 2 days after moving in my car was stolen and totaled, my son had a gun pulled on him at the bus stop by some crazy boyfriend of a minor female who rides the bus, dog feces, glass, rusty nails protruding from the exterior patios, neighbors below blasting music and the list goes on. I have given my notice to move. I can't live like this and quite frankly nobody deserves to. Do yourself a favor, don't move here. I couldn't find any recent reviews so I figured it was ok man was I wrong ????. I will compliment the office staff as they are friendly.

This place is bad and I mean real bad lets start with the basics first roaches , vandalism , theft, pool is full of garbage water is black, side walks are trip hazards ,graffiti, apartment manager lies straight to your face. For gods sake don't go out after dark....

Do not move into these apartments, they are horrible. The place is falling apart and they do not care about the residents.

I don't even know where to begin... These apartments are absolutely horrible. First of all, the ROACHES are out of control! They would not let me in the apartment before my move-in date to bomb and clean, but they let me bring the bombs and had the maintenance guy set them off for me. When I first entered my apartment there were dead roaches EVERYWHERE! I had an exterminator come out to spray so I would know that it was done properly. It lasted about 5 months and then the roaches came back full force. I made numerous requests to the office to have pest control come out (as I pay a monthly pest control fee), but it took them 2 months just for someone to show up. When they finally came to spray, they just sprayed the kitchen around the baseboards (which did absolutely nothing for my problem). My a/c went out in the middle of the summer and after numerous phone calls to the office and waiting a week, I had a friend come fix it for me. The grounds are not kept up at all. The whole back section of the apartments are boarded up. The fence is damaged all around the property. The gate does not work. Most the lights on the property are out. Out of the 4 units on my side of the building, my apartment is the only one occupied. Maintenance has not even been by to clean out the other units from when those residents moved out (the guy downstairs moved out 8 months ago). Since I have been here 2 of my guests have had their cars towed, my car and 2 guests of mine have had our cars broken into, 2 people were shot, the cops are always here on some type of call, numerous drug activities take place, and the other residents let there children run wild. The kids are horrible and unsupervised. They destroy the property for fun and nobody says or does anything about it. The laundry facilities are absolutely disgusting, the pool is hardly ever open and is not kept up well, the "tennis courts" are non-existent, and the mailboxes are always broken. Also, the apartments use a 3rd party provider to install cable, so if you want cable you can only get satellite, you cannot take advantage of any deals the providing company is offering at the time, and you have to pay extra for the 3rd party to come install it. I moved in here knowing these were not the best apartments in the area but I needed to save money and they were the cheapest, but I end up paying about $50 to $70 extra a month in hidden fees (drainage, pest control, sewer, trash, water, and a service fee) and due to poor instillation and horrible, broken, loose single-paned windows my electricity is ridiculous. The last complaint I will make is about the office. There is no drop box for payments and the office is never open when it is supposed to be. They are always opening late, taking long lunches, and closing hours early. The staff does not care about their residents, their safety, or the upkeep of the grounds and units. The answering service that is available while the office is closed is completely useless. They do not have access to resident information. They cannot get a hold of the staff when they are not in the office and it does not seem like anything is done with messages that are left. They don't even have the number to the towing company that tows about 3 cars a night out of the parking lot. My lease is finally coming to an end and I cannot wait to get out of here! Take my advice and don't even consider these apartments. Spend an extra $100 (that you will end up spending here anyways with the hidden fees) and go somewhere else. The only reason I could see for someone to move in here would be if they were illegal immigrants or drug dealers.

My lease will be up in just a few months for my two bedroom two bath. Upon moving in, no new carpet, carpet has many stains from previous tenants, toilet seat was cheap and broken in guest bathroom, MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE bug infestation, I am listed to be sprayed EVERY visit the pest control makes, I've been sprayed ONCE since moving in and when I ask why they charge me EVERY month for pest control even though I don't recieve pest control, they say the company wont show up and wont return their calls yet they STILL leave it on my bill and I have to GO IN and request to have it removed. My garbage disposal was broken upon move in. My air conditioner never has worked on automatic I have to turn it off and on off and on. He's "fixed" it THREE times and still the problem was NEVER fixed. I've been "on the list" to have it fixed for about 5 months now. My air conditioner wont blow cold, wont turn off on it's own, freezes up from constant running so I turn it off, let it thaw, turn it back on when I can't stand the heat and it still blows less than cold and wont turn off. Friend in neighboring community just recently told me how their sister was shot and mugged in the parking lot. Kids climb on the roof of the pool house a lot. Lots of stray and feral cats. If you plan on having visitors, you can plan on their cars getting towed. BUGS BUGS BUGS no matter what. I've done it all, leave bleach on the counters, roach traps, including rinsing out soda cans and closing trash bin every night. But, on the upside, when you first come in (other than the carpet) the layout is nice, spacious... ok as long as you don't find fixing your own stuff and living with a thousand little nasty critters.

We lived in these apartments 5 months till we couldnt take it anymore. We had numerouse problems with upkeep. Our fridge went out 3 times our air conditioner broke down everyday in the summer. We had extremely bad pest problems. We had fire ants coming threw the carpet in our upstairs bedroom were my son got over 50 bites while he slept. The was a huge roach problem that was just disgusting.The grounds are not kept up thers alot of crime. We had my sons bike stolen from our front door wich was bike locked. Very poor staff. They dont know what their doing. They illegally locked us out of our apartment.I would not recomend this place. Do NOT move in here!

ok...i dont understand why most of these listing are from residents who have lived here for years. i they were sooo unhappy why did they stay so long. makes no sense, and people are so quick to blame the staff when in reality it all comes down to the management company. if there is no money for maint. repairs,hellllooo whos to blame. the money is not coming from the staff's pocket, is it!!!!! i love the staff members they are great. Sorry to see Jaime go. he was a great maint.leader.

Anyone thinking of moving into meadow creek apartments,plz dont even consider it,this place is not worth living leave alone renting.I can list u all the different problems i have had at all levels right from the staff,maintenance to their security problems.Their main gate doesnt work & everyone is accesiible so u can imagine??A major problem is of roaches.My God every inch of my apartment has roaches.Myself & my wife are praying for our days to get over so we can leave this horrible nightmare.I dont recommend anyone to move in.The only plus point is,its near hwy 6(a busy intersection)& close by Kroger,Big Lots & Washateria.I moved in through a referral & now all my friends have left this place.I personally moved in cos my wife doesnt know how to drive,so the washateria & Kroger was a walking distance.Rent here if u would like to destroy the peace & comfort in your life is all i can say about Meadow Creek Apts.

The light bill is too damn high because the apartments are poorly insulated. Either it's too damn cold or too damn hot! My ceiling has leaked for three years and they came and fixed it once by painting the ugly stain on the ceiling. I have to come home in the pitch black dark because management refuse to fix the lights on the outside of the building. My garbage diposal has been broken for two months. I have stop calling for repairs because they never come. People park over two spots they don't have consideration for others who have to park and who actually live here. My apartment was broken into. Don't let me starting talking about the roach problem. I sprayed the light socket and 13 roaches came out dead. They will come and exterminate but that does noting but stirr them up!! All I can say is I'm ready to GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I don't care if they give me 12 months free rent, I'm gone.
