THIS IS A HORRIBLE PLACE...roaches run around your apartment, prostitution is everywhere, it is loud and noisy, extremely ------, and dishonest office staff. I lived here and was luck to escape with my life even though every personal possession that I owned was stolen from me out of my apartment...in fact if you are not from this city stay away from this entire area...true the rent is only $435 but there is a reason it is dangerous, grimey, and crime infested. Do not trust the look of this place in the daytime and think that it is not that bad i can assure you that it is. If you never listen to advice of anyone believe these 3 post because they are the truth... My last night here a woman had been beat up by her spouse and gunshots were literally right outside of my window. My apartment was burglarized the next day during broad daylight as I walked past the pimps and prostitutes who tried to engage me in offers...pay the money to live in the medical center, city center, rice village, or midtown... If I can save one person from the trouble that I experienced with this complex my job is complete...and if you still dont believe me LOOK UP THE CRIME RATE FOR THIS AREA ON THE INTERNET!!!!! PS...Never swim in those pools near the complex

I used to rent there last year. It was a horrible nightmare. My husband had lost his job, my job was not enough to cover the expenses for that month, i tried to give whatever i could so i would not loose the apartment. Finally after days of trying to get the money toguether I recieved a notice that if i did not cough up all the rent money they would change my locks. So basically i had no choice but to leave. And sure enough, the next month i had a better paying job with more than enough to pay the amount. But i had left after the letter i was given. Then one day i recieved a letter from some agency charging me $5,000 from hamilton park apts. Greed has a name -"management". They're the ones that litteraly kicked me out, now they want me to pay to remodel a whole unit of apartments or cover a luxury vacation for "management". Maintnance was horrible though, too many problems, not enough workers and material to solve it all. It was like a lottery drawing to get some attention to your problem......yey! they drew my apt #...now lets see how fast it can be fixed.

BEWARE-- RENTER BEWARE. I moved into the hamilton in june of 2009. I was only listed as an occupant while my abusive ex was the lease holder. The apartment leasing lady was a latino names ismerelda(sic) and the manager at the time was IRENE. Someone was always parking in my spot, i could never park close to my apartment. There was prostitution going on in several apartments all around the complex and lots of theft of electricity and cable. I eventually kicked the abusive ex out becauss he was abusing me. IRENE told us both pus my father that i could have my name taken off the lease if i decided to leave. Then turned around and said they never said that. I knew the lease was binding but these 2 wicked women insisted that it oculd be done. I realized i was trapped ina lease i never wanted to sign in the first place. The leasing lady allowed my ex the master key to my place although i had a restrainig order against him, my ex's sister told me that they were flirting with each other. HE stole me blind and she lied and said she didnt give him the key. Irene disappeared after this incident and a ----- pervert names VINCENT came on in to make my life miserable. Air conditioner constantly broke...kids screaming, blow up bouncies at mexican parties blocked parking. Vincent terrorized me. He let families that were poor and sponsered by ymca...sometimes 7-10 people at a time, move into one bedroom apartments. In all it was a horrific experience. I would NOT recommend this apartment hell to anyone. Its cheap, but theres a reason why its cheap. THe management are crooks. Vincent is a pervert, who will stalk you and have your locks changed if your more than 2 days late. He should concentrate on the people who are putting aluminum foil on there windows instead of walking over to his tenants houses who have already been so done wrong by them, and terrorizing them relentlessely. In all, pick an apartment that costs a little more...this one is for sadists only. Good luck, your going to need it.
