We've been living overseas for the past several years and decided to rent an apartment when they resided our family in Houston. Not easy to find a spacious 3BDR apartment in this city But I was so glad that we found The Museum Tower. Never lived in a high rise before but I loved it 1st time I saw it thru their website and even more thrilled when I came to see & look it first time. It has a real good & strong building constructions, excellent community with nearby hot spots in town. Easy to go anywhere around. Medical Centre, Museums, Zoo, Shopping Centers, Spas, Private Schools, Chevron office etc. You name it. I must say this place is very well maintained. It is quite pricey but it's worth it. You'd better make sure you get flush of money if you want to live here :) My place is happen to be one of their largest where my 3 small kids can just freely running around. I love my kitchen facing downtown, the great room facing Galleria, and my spacious master bed room walking closet. The management, the concierge, the porters & staff are very nice and informative. Always help me with my big groceries & shopping bags, always come directly when something need to be fixed in my place. They keep this place so clean (garage, elevator, lobby, hallway, gym) which I really like. They'll take care my dry clean, escort my guests to our place, and handling my packages/gifts. When Hurricane Ike hit Houston in September 2008, they kept everything as normal as they could be, no blackouts, good water supply and especially how the staff tried to keep informed the residents with precautions and safety advices. Other cons might be is that during summer where it's so hot in Houston- you really have to keep your blinds down; otherwise the bill can reach up so terribly high :) and there has been few items stolen at the resident's cars at garage by some 'hijackers', got to make sure you have your car locked. They managed this case right away. It's been almost 2 years we live here and I still really like it. A beautiful, safety place we called home now.

It's been a year and a half now and we're stil very happy. There have been some staff changes, but the people are still great. Everyone treats my visitors, who range from 2 years old to 88, with kindness and friendliness. There is a good mix of age groups and I still have yet to meet an unhappy resident. The views are wonderful, and even the noise from the US 59 traffic and the Montrose Ave ambulances is not too annoying. The apts are well soundproofed, so one seldom hears his neighbor. The facility is exceptionally well maintained and when something breaks it is always fixed the same day. I think they've painted the elevator waiting areas and resurfaced the driveway about three times since I've been here. Windows are cleaned periodically. The apts are a little on the dark side. gym is good. We've hosted three successful parties with no problems in the family room. Pool/patio is excellent. The building hosts periodic cocktail parties. The neighborhood is great with museums, restaurants, Hermannn park and train all in walking distance.

I have lived nearly two years in a one bedroom (large) study apartment in this building. The high ceilings (exposed concrete, pipes etc) with design lighting and quality wooden floors give these well designed apartments a cutting edge. All apartments have a patio / balcony with absolutely great views of Houston. It is somewhat close to I59 and the airco is not a silent as I would like but those are the only detriments I can name. The building has very attentive management and has excellent parking. A short work from Herman Park.
