This property is currently by a new landlord since July 2021, very recently there are a few large group tenants moved in this neighborhood, they are very noisy, lousy, trash everywhere on the ground smell very bad odor, cars driving very fast, loud music, park on the driveway, blocking people cars, they can't get out from parking lots., there are few groups of people who always stay late at night time, they are a party, drinking outside parking lots they left trash, bottles, and cans every was on the ground. The staff doesn't care. Children stay very late sometimes 2-3 am in the morning. no security, unsafe, I don't want to stay here any longer, just want to move out. Don't waste time moving to this apartment.

Applied with the Apartment Community back in July and was denied based on what they claimed was issues with my credit. I have to say that excuse was bogus because I was accepted at three other communities with the same credit score and two did not require deposit. When I first went in the young lady was nice and polite and the older man was also nice and polite and they were so glad to take my money for the credit check. So the next day I get a call because I wrote the wrong number for my employer ( simple mix up of numbers I do a lot ) so I gave her the correct number and she had a slight attitude even then. Well she called my employer and was very rude to him when discussing my employment status, so my employer contacted me for permission to contact her supervisor about the rudeness and I said sure. Then she called the woman from the former property I loved at and was rude to her and told her that her place were not apartments and could not be consider for my rental history when in fact Gort Bend County has stated the place I was staying were indeed apartments. Then when the two of them complained to her supervisor her supervisor more or less told them she did not care about their complaints and hung up. When I called inquired about the rudeness I was told that I needed to wait and see if I was approved. I was told it would take three days to get an answer it was over a week and they sent me a email stating because of issues with my credit they declined me. Well I have the report and the only issue is I only rented at an apartment community for two and half years and the rest of the time it was a House! No breaking of leases! No eviction! No request to move because of criminal activity! So if you plan on renting at this apartment community I would advise to look elsewhere because you can find better!

For the past 2 years that I have been living here is bad. At first when we moved here, everything was good, had no problems. As soon as I signed my 2nd contract, everything started going down hill. Roaches started coming into my apartment and i didnt understand why, my apartment was never that dirty for roaches to start coming out of no where, I contacted the front office multiple times regarding this issue and one time the pest control guy came to my place. My door started to have problems from the knob of not closing right, I have contacted the apartment complex more than 3 times to fix my door, the maintenance guy came twice and did not even fix the problem, he said stop slamming the door and it would start closing right, slamming the door is the only way it will stay closed. My car and my boyfriends car got broken into and when i told the front office i wanted to know who did it, they said you need to have a police report if not there is no need to show you the videos. They charge too much for the ------ apartments. One lady has a 2 bed 1 bath, she pays more than $1000.00. That is ridiculous. The manager of the leasing office does not give a damn about you or your problem, its either her way or the highway. I hope whoever is reading this knows that this is not a good idea. Stay away from this area, I'm going to be happy as hell when my contract is over to leave this place. Trust me when i say dont live here. Save yourself, I ----ed up.

Please stay away from this apartment while you can. This place is overpriced for a horrible place to live in. The parking is a mess and has a very limited amount of guest parking. It is located in an extremely dangerous area and people get robbed at gunpoint all the time. There is no security guarding the premises. The "cameras" conveniently don't work for whenever you are robbed or your car is broken into. Although the people in the leasing office are really nice, just wish I could say the same for the actual apartment. It is also a noisy area due to being so close to the streets. I definitely do not recommend.

Coral Islands is very racist they don't like kids they have a rent a cop on property that harasses your kids and threatens to take them to jail. Apartment manager is unprofessional and rude and never wants to hear your side of the story. If you are on Section 8 they threaten you all the time and say they are going to kick you out. Apartments are dirty and old and they never fix anything. They cut your water off without notice so when you get up to brush your teeth or shower you have no water. Water is always off most of the day until about 5 or 6 p.m. Don't move here it's a bad choice.

I would not recommend this place. No parking lots after 10 pm, my vehicle got hit, scratch, windows broken that I dont know who did it. Black people is everywhere with big noise sounds from their cars that killing your ear, Spanish people with the party at parking lot, they also wee-wee into your cars. Many kids running outsides. I will never coming back this place, it's a very complex apartment.

If you don't believe or others complaints. You can move in and see. A poor apartment ever, old room, many Spanish people with noise music, kids, party every day every time. Some people were killed by shooting and never find out who killed them. Dogs and Cats every where, they come to your patio and front door and leaving some shits every day. I fixed my car with broken windows too many times. If you use a new car, please don't move this place because people here don't care they will scratch and broken your car anyway. Drug dealers are everywhere too. Black and Spanish people here dont have education, they dont care the neighbors, they park their cars block your vehicle...Move in equal many troubles later. Thoughts?

LITERALLY HATE THIS APARTMENTS.A MURDER HAD TAKEN PLACE IN THE APARTMENT COMPLEX. THERE WAS ACTUALLY SAID TO BE NUMEROUS ONES. THERE HAD ALSO BEEN NUMEROUS CARS BROKEN INTO AND JUST FOUND OUT THE SECURITY GUARD WAS IN ON THE WHOLE CAR ROBBERIES THAT HAD TAKEN PLACE NOTIFYING THE ROBBERS WHEN SOMEONE WAS COMING. THERE IS NO PROTECTION PROVIDED THERE A NEIGHBOR GOT ROBBED ON HER WAY HOME, SHE SAID THE ROBBERS WHERE HIDING IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM. SERIOUSLY HATE CORAL ISLANDS WORST COMPLEX ON THE SOUTHWEST SIDE OF HOUSTON AND THERE RENT IS STILL PRETTY PRICEY. POT HOLES ALL IN THE PARKING LOT PRETTY DEEP ONES AND A BIG SEWER PROBLEM AS WELL. THEY LITERALLY HAD WRITE NOTES ON THE PARKING GATES TO INFORM TENETS ABOUT ISSUES IN THE APARTMENTS.I GUESS ITS JUST APARTMENTS FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LACK OF SENSE. THEY CAN ONLY GO UP FROM WHERE THEIR AT NOW.

Roaches, picky security, racist management, slow maintenance, little scandalous, trashy neighbors, liars, . Love that i can walk to park across street, close to zoned school, cookies and coffee in office.

Please look the other way, It was hell living in Coral Island Apartments. My apartment was infested with roaches and nothing would get rid of them. My walls cracked, My A/C never worked, I had so many problems with that unit. The neighbours are loud all hours of the night, kids running around, apartment and car break-ins. The management never notified tenants of such incidents occurring in the complex. I heard on the news it was a murder that took place on the property, a man was killed on the side walk. I moved because I didn't feel safe and management didn't try to clean up the apartments. Management only walked the property to put late notices on doors. The security guard was never around, he was always in his apartment. Please keep up with all your receipts because they keep poor records. The deposit you put down forget about getting it back. Management will come up with all types of bogus charges just to keep it. Take this WARNING and RUN Forest Run!!!!
