quite unsafe. never walk out at night time. after several car breakins, we got a gate which sometimes still open at late night.

I've lived here about one year, and only half a month ago I got hot water that could last longer than 10 minutes.

A senior citizen here got serious sick and was taken away by 911 several days ago. Good for him, or he would die this week. The air conditioner was broken three days ago but nobody said anything when it is above 90 degree outside.(almost the same inside the room when I came back from school). It seems the responsibility of the manager is to heat us to death.

I can not wait to move out. and I will never recommend the freshmen living here even it is so close to uh.

Just can't believe my eyes when I first saw this complex, it should not be an apartment. Too old, lack of maintenance, bad management, bad environment, and most of all, no security guaranteed. My friend's car got broken in the parking lot, which is not the sole case.

If you could afford a better one, never go there.

If you have any other choices, donot even try to stay here.

The antique AC system is terrible. I am sure you got infrasonic noise 24 hours a day in those buildings. If you donot believe the invertible harm it makes, try to find something from google.

I have lived at Beall Village 3 years and it has been pleasant. I like walking distance to UH. Maintaince and Management are very responsive. The price is great too because all bills are included.

If you ever wondered what it would feel like to live in hell, then you should rent an apartment at Beall Village Apartments on North Macgregor Way. The air condition works whenever the manager feels like it should work. During winters, the heaters don´t work. Buy yourself a good blanket if you ever move in here. There are days when there is no hot water available. The refriegerators are not frost free, so if you are not careful enough, you will see a big block of ice instead of your freezer. The area is totally unsafe after 7pm. Some frieds of mine were either beaten up badly or robbed at gunpoint. If you are on a tight budget and you don´t mind living unsafely without any a/c or heat, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, don´t even think of moving into Beall Village.
