I own a business at 4409 Canal St. and this morning at 7:15am 8/28/2021 the neighbors at 4405 Canal Street began demolishing a rotting house which had multiple code violations and tickets. This created an environmentally hazardous clouds of dust that possibly had led paint or asbestos because no permit or check was done on the house before it was demolished (this house was built in the early 1900s and had been rotting with squatters for years so who knows if it was safe to demolish).
