The other reviewer is right. This is an awful place. The office staff is not very friendly, though the maintenance guys are great. The utility bill is sky-high. Ours has been between $180-$260 for the past year. For a 2-bedroom apartment, that´s incredibly high. The regional office folks were just as rude, and they refused to budge at all on the way the electricity bill is determined...hardly fair. I am moving out at the end of March. I would NOT recommend this place to anybody.

I would not recommend the Rutledge to anyone. This complex is unsanitary because there are so many roaches. They only spray for roaches once a month, whereas all of the apartments I looked at recently will come out to spray once a week if needed. The people in the office are cold and rude, but the maintenance staff is very nice. The utilities are very expensive. For a 2 bedroom, utilities have consistenly been between $170-$190. My apartment is not billed for its own electricity, water and gas usage; the complex divides up the bill for everyone´s usage based on square footage. The amount of our utilities bill depended on how much electricity, gas and water everyone in the complex used.
