They are scamming people do NOT move here. In order for you to break the lease you have to find someone to replace you which I did, they scared the person off took my transfer of lease fee and never refunded me. When they let me know it was too late and no one paid two months rent and by that time they have evicted me and now they are charging me 10k for who knows what!!! This place is all scam do not waste your money

My daughter signed lease in July . But the apartment was not habitable for two months . It put us in a tricky situation with so much stress . In December there was a dead body in the elevator . Later a student was robbed at gunpoint . My daughter came home in second week December and refused to go back . She emailed the manager to get out of lease but they said we need to sub lease with penalty . They do not pick up phone . She had signed up for all online classes in second semester . She is too scared to go back . There are shady people lurking outside the apartments . Cars are being broken into . The security guard does not monitor anything . A very very bad experience overall .

This apartment is preying on students who are looking for housing. They lure you in with false promises and try to hide what it is really like. The building is FILTHY. The managers allow residents to leave animal urine feces, trash, etc in the hallways and elevators. There are roaches, despite what they claim. The building has subpar security, despite that being one of their big selling points during meetings. During the meeting I had to sign my lease, I expressed my concerns for security and repeatedly asked what would be done to keep students safe. They promised that they would have HPD as security and that visitors would be required to be with a resident in order to gain access. The guards they hired are unarmed people who sit in a lawn chair for hours. They dont patrol anything, and allow everyone inside without checking to see if they live there. This has led to two shootings occurring inside the building in less than a week. On December 6, 2023 a student was shot 3 times in the legs inside the parking garage. Thankfully he survived, but the managers here have tried to brush it under the rug. On December 12, 2023 there was a man murdered in the elevator lobby of the complex. He was shot multiple times while security did nothing. The people involved were not residents, so it leaves you to wonder how they got in. Multiple students to witnessed a man's lifeless body traveling up and down in the elevator until police arrived. Would you want that for your child? Haven's gates do nothing to stop people from walking inside at any moment. DO NOT send your child to live here. Cars are broken into every night, tires have been stolen, and now a man has been MURDERED in the elevator.
