The last three reviews HAD to have been written by management. I lived there BEFORE the Trash moved in and/or bought condos. If you think Reata is great, you'd love 3rd, 4th, and 5th Ward. Reata is the ------. No wait, it's not that nice.<br>I would never buy a condo, much less a Reata condo. A little fake wood and marble does not make it luxury folks!<br>Oh, and ask about the roof. The whole place needs to be reroofed and the homeowners will be shouldering the cost, NOT management. Bet they don't tell you about that when you sign the dotted line...

I can tell you as a former renter and now proud homeowner that this community is the best! <br>Location is perfect, the concierge service is extremely convenient and free for 12 months, the appreciation potential (resale) is enormous, there is a wonderful fitness center that is available 24hrs/day. There are 6 mountain bikes avail free of charge. You even get to meet with a personal trainer for free! The service you receive here is spectacular. Also, it is very peaceful and wonderful atmosphere here. I love it! <br>Chioce Condominiums has done wonders with this new and much improved community - <br>Thanks Choice Condominiums! <br>

The lights all work, the management and manager (Paige) are tops. The negative remarks below are obviously from a fellow who was not happy about the property being converted to Condos. He couldn't qualify to "buy" with the most avaibable and easiest money in 40 years. Their were several folks who had to buy or move and it just ticked them off. Reata has a great maintenance & managment staff, they even pick up your trash 3 times a week at you door. They also do short term lease, furnished or unfurnished. <br>You can tell by the language that the complainer is all the same unhappy fellow. <br>See for yourself and join a real happy group of residents. <br>

Lights are always out on this property, the security camera at the entry gate hasn´t worked in months. Stairwells are dark and dangerous AND there is no manager in the office. That´s right there is not a MANAGER. This place sucks. Move next door to The Rincon. Same floorplans, better prices, and THEY have a manager.

stay away from the Reata. In the last 5 mo. there was one robbery, 3 car break-ins, and multiple bikes stolen on 2 different weekends. (Check out crime stats at: http://www.ci.houston.tx.us/departme/police/stats.htm <br>( A6). <br> <br>also, the building fire alarm has goes off for long periods of time and neither management nor the local fire department seems to care.

This apartment community used to be very nice, almost exclusive. Now, tenants come and go in less than 6 mos; leave trash around; noisy and disrespectful to others; the list is endless. Loud, drunk people in the pool at 3 AM on a WEEKDAY is NOT uncommon here. Rent continues to go up, while quality goes down. Management seems sympathetic, but does not do much about bad neighbors. Too many other apartments in the area for such a poor complex. <br>THAT SAID, the location can´t be beat
