This complex is one of the worst complex I ever stayed at the management care about anything but calls you for money The apartment cabinets have some of the cheapest wallpaper on the cabinets. The water is always turned off. Every other day is a water issue you get up to go to work and you can’t take a shower complex.

I have moved in late in 2023 and so far I hate to complain, but it has been absolutely terrible. The halls are always dirty, the elevator is always filthy, there is increased noise, loud music, loud yelling, horseplay at late night hours, the front of the apartment complex at night is always filled with parked cars that do not live here, yet are free to have their cars parked here and often times are just loitering. The trash shutes are always full and the trash is overflowed with a horrible odor that makes the entire floor very unpleasant. Often times this goes on for days at a time. I have seen the worst of all these instances occur after the leasing office has left for the day. But, also during office hours. The smell of marijuana here is also very concerning. It consistently smells of marijuana. The smell is so strong that you can even tell which unit it is coming from. I call and complain via email to the leasing office quite often, but the leasing office does not do a single thing about the situation. Recently, a few of my neighbors here at Vargos and I have gotten together to see what we can do legally, with the assistance of the American Nonsmokers' Rights Foundation as well as writing to our community leaders, because it really has gotten quite overwhelming. We are very much underwhelmed by the focus of care and acknowledgement provided by Vargos on the lake given that these apartments are supposed to be non-smoking. Though the complaints seem to be met with understanding, pleasantries and empathy by the Vargos staff, right after you are responded to, you will be forgotten and ignored thereafter. I read the reviews left on here and you can always expect a response from the leasing office, just never any action to follow. I would not recommend these apartments to anyone who is seeking the comforts of home, unfortunately. I am truly, truly, truly, uncomfortable living here and I feel lied to. Let these experiences and lack of service serve as a fair warning to anyone seeking to live here.

After residing in this community for an entire year, it is evident that the amenities offered do not align with a standard of luxury. The gym facilities are noticeably aged and outdated, failing to meet contemporary expectations. Furthermore, the resident demographic appears to be diverse, which has, unfortunately, resulted in disturbances such as early-morning tire burnouts and frequent neighborly disputes. Additionally, my experience with the towing service utilized by the complex has been less than satisfactory. There have been instances of unwarranted vehicle towing, coupled with a distressing practice of holding the vehicles in question hostage until exorbitant fees are paid. In light of these concerns and subpar living conditions, I strongly discourage considering this complex as a rental option. There are alternative residential communities available that offer a far more appealing living environment.

Fire alarms ring ALL THE TIME because of people smoking around. Its a no smoke property, but there are people smoking everywhere. I have been here for the past 4 years and I have ignored about 30 times the fire alarm. This is very concerning as everyone ignores it because of the amount of fake occurrences. On the weekends is much worse. I will leave this place as soon as I can. Building and staff are good though.

Overall, I’ve enjoyed my time here at Vargos. Great property with an even better staff. Awesome gym and workout room. The pool and clubhouse are beautiful. The coffee machine is amazing. While there are a few improvements I hope property managers consider, I would continue living here.

Moved in for bigger space due to pregnancy and I am beyond pleased. I feel safe, staff is awesome, love the high ceilings in the apartment and all of the amenities are very nice. Parking isn’t the best but it’s not bad enough to move. Love the place

The office ladies are so friendly and professional anout customer service. The community space is clean except stairs. There was a noisy couple next door, but it seems like they moved out so it has been very quiet since then.

I love the style of the building, the staff is friendly and takes care of requests within a timely manner. Suzette is the BEST. The property is well maintained with the exception of messes that happen over the weekend due to some residents. Overall, my experience has been great and I would definitely consider staying if the rates don’t increase too much

Do not move here unless you want to hear your fire alarm going off 9 times out of the middle of the night from 10 pm to 4 am. These apartments are not safe. How are we suppose to know when there’s actually a real fire going on. No one ever goes outside when the fire alarm goes off because it goes off so often. We pay over $1400 in rent to not feel safe. Also, elevators to the parking garage are always down which is an inconvenience for someone who is handicap who cannot take the stairs.
