The apartments have many different floor plans, and each are unique. The lake was full and nice for fishing. Overall, the office staff and property management try to take care of residents' needs. Unfortunately, there is little that can be done about residents that may hide out and smoke on the property within the buildings.

I love this community. The fact that it's set back from the main road, the man-made lakes and wooded areas, and excellent team is top notch. But, I have head a German roach problem off and on for over two years. I keep a very clean residence and yet I still continue to see them. I've contacted the office and they always send an exterminator to do a "regular routine" spraying which NEVER takes care of the problem. I've stopped going to the office to address this concern as no one seems to either believe it genuinely care about fixing it. It's unfortunate as I feel like this is my home and plan to continue living here for quite some time. I've spoken to my neighbor on the first floor, and she has the same problem and also has gotten no resolution from the office personnel. There must be a different way to eradicate these vile vermin. Either use a more potent extermination solution, or schedule the current guy to come every 2 weeks until the problem is solved. However you need to do it, but it MUST be done. Just imagine cooking a nice meal, string on the counter, and seeing a roach walking right across it. It's happening and it disgusts me. This complex is so far above any in this area in many many ways, but cockroaches in my eating area? This makes it a very sub par community to say the least. What will you do to tackle this problem? $1500 a month for a roach infested apartment is just not fair, or right. Please let me know what direction can be taken to alleviate this important concern. Danielle LAWSON is so AWSOME AND PROFESSIONAL. SHE PUT MY MIND AT EASE AND MADE SURE I WASNT OVER CHARGED!! I LOVE THE STAFF AND WOULDNT WANT TO LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE. DIDNT HAVE TO GO BACK AND FORTH OR ANYTHING, SHE IMMEDIATLY FIXED IT. THANKS DANIELLE!

My wife and I lived here three and a half years. The first year was great. They had kayaks you could take on the lake, they stocked the lake with fish, they mowed the grass on the trail, the pool was beautiful, apartments were clean and well kept. That all changed when American landmark took over management from Cortland. Literally everything became disgusting. The lake smells now and looks like a cesspool. Forget about getting anything accomplished at the office. -------- (the person you will likely encounter) is rude, unprofessional, aggressive, incompetent and lazy. She tried to assert that we owed 3 more months of rent at move out when my actual signed lease said the lease term ended 3 months prior. She will not admit she’s wrong and instead will --------------- of her own arrogance. Turns out she wasn’t even looking at the actual lease only a digital account history which did prove to be incorrect (obviously bc my lease is the only thing that matters). If you need anything you’re going to have to request to talk to ----- who is nice and respectful though very busy so often it is difficult to not go through -------- first in order to have a few minutes to ask ----- your question. And that’s only if the powers that be (--------) deem your inquiry worth her time. She does not follow up, refuses requests and is the most reprehensible office rep I’ve ever encountered in my three and a half years there. Mind you we’ve never been late on rent not once while living there and took very good care of our apartment. She is a disgrace to an other wise ok property. I’d literally rent a house and pay a bit more just to not have to deal with that kind of attitude. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
