I just moved in the apartments on October 9, 2011, and have already requested to move out, because of burglary, drugs, and loud noise. I was broken into in the middle of the day with security right on the premises. The maintenance and staff are nice; however nice does not stop thieves nor my safety. Whatever don't risk it this is all the time over here. After going to corporate and threading a lawsuit, I was granted approval to move.

I have lived in the cityview area for 3yrs, and never have I had so many problems in one year. I have lived in the Augusta@cityview for 2yrs, and a few months back the deceided they would contract with a towing company and they had several of the cars towed to a car lot off 45, my car was one of them. Me not knowing what had taken place I walk outside to leave for work when I notice my car wasn't there. I called the cops, and filed a stolen car report, and went to the front off where I explained that my car was stolen, and etc. Well of course they were like "Are you serious" I cant believe that. Well a few hrs after I had gotten to work I get a call from the police station say they found my car and it had been towed. How pissed off was I when I found out they knew about it the whole time. I had to go pay the close to $200 to get my car back. After that happen I kept calling them to get the pictures for the reason I was towed but of course they ducked and dogged me. I thought everything was good, and I had recently went to the front office to see when my lease was up, and when were they coming to exterminate the apartment because the unit had been infeasted with roaches since my neighbor moveded in. Last week I was coming home from work when I noticed my blinds were a little bent back. As I walked to my unit and put my key in the door I was already unlocked someone had broken into my apartment. This was the worse place I ever choose to live in. I would never recommend a cityview apartment to anyone. To add insult to injury they want me to pay the reminder of my lease term if I dont wasnt to leave there anymore.

Since moving in, my husband did not view the apartment before he signed the lease. Needless to say, it was dirty. The refrigerator, kitchen floor, stove bathroom and there is mold on the patio and the ceiling is falling in by the storage closet. We are on the second floor the apartment above us air conditioner leaks right into our bathtub which makes it look filthy 24/7. One night we were at the pool and this guy came to lock the gate, a couple of days ago my husband was outside using his phone and the same guy told him "None of my stuff better not be missing out of my apartment (an employee). When my husband went to the office to report him the manager was not there and the girl that was working said "it can't be the same guy, maybe when he gave someone else the key to lock the gate". I flipped out. Go stay somewhere else. By the way, there are 12 apartments in our building and only 3 are rented.

I have lived at Augusta Apts for 2 and a 1/2 years. Ive never had problems with neighbors. Sometimes the kids would be loud but what kids wouldnt. Ive lived in a lot of apartments and my thoughts are this. There is crime everywhere no matter where you live. My mother lives in a nice subdivision and had her truck placed on blocks while they stole her tires right in her driveway. Augusta staff is always nice and willing to help. Management has changed in the office and i think they are A-1. Moving to Augusta would be a nice decision. School buses picks up and drops off in front of office. Convenient to stores and freeways.

I lived in Augusta for a year and moved out as soon as my lease was over!!! The apartments weren't too bad, until nighttime. Then it got bad, I personally didn't ever have my house broken into, but my neighbor did twice! I witnessed it once! I did have my car broken into and I was also witness to the gun shots and muders that went on when I lived there!!! Really scary for a single female living my herself! Luckily I lived at the front of the complex, so we didn't get the brunt of things, but it was pretty dreadful at times!!! The front office staff was always nice and courteous to me. I would not recommend the aprments based on the location and the crime, but the office staff and maintenance were good!

Renter Beware The apartments were pretty good for a while but they are now going down hill. Grounds are always dirty, many times the gates don t work and maintenance is atrocious, you have to tell them many times before you can get something done. Parking is not bad with the exception of the cheap skates that want their own parking spot without paying for it. If you have a nice car they will key it and throw eggs at it in the middle of the night. The management as to be expected can t do anything about it. There is no security in the apartments. While I was there (13 months)three cars were stolen and many were broken into. Your security deposit mines well donate it to the apartments, I have been trying to get mine back for over two months now. Make copies of all the checks, rent, water and have them sign the copy (they will still deny that you pay and pocket the money) I have all my copies and nothing. If you call to get your deposit back they will leave you on hold for a long time and they will stop answering their phones. Don t try calling GFI management group because they will do the same. The managers there Kelly and Janie will do whatever they can not to return your security deposit. They will give you the run around until you get tired of calling. I should have paid attention to the reviews before I moved in but I have learn my lesson. Do yturself a favor and avoid the headache. Find another place to leave I WILL NOT RECOMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY.

Kelly and Janie you two can keep my security deposit and buy yourself a nice Christmas present, something that goes well with your personality, may I suggest a sky mask and latex gloves?

I have been living here for 4 years and when I say it gets worse each year it does! I moved there in 2005 without seeing the apartment first of all, bad mistake on my part, I walked in and it looked like the person had just moved out an hour before I moved in! It took them at least 3 months to come and fix everything that wasn't fixed when I moved in! In 2006, the apartment above me caught fire and has yet to be fixed and it is 2009! Then it had a pipe burst over the Thanksgiving holidays and I was unable to reach the office because the had a new answering service, so my bathroom, closet, and bedroom were damaged and all they did was take $100 of my rent! You can't get anything fixed, and yes they have a MAJOR ROACH AND ANT PROBLEM in these apartments! Now we have the damn maintenance with the parrot, that screams all day and nite and nothing can be done about that obviously, you have the lady with the horse dog that barks all nite, and you have NEW MANAGEMENT once again, that basically SUCKS! And charging someone to park there car is ridiculous, especially when the gate stays open more than it is close! I will absolutely not renew another lease, THIS IS THE LAST DAMN STRAW...I'M OUTTA OF THERE!!

I've lived here for over a year. The first day I moved in there was a murder the day before. One man killed and the other shot multiple times on the property. However, since ALL my items were already moved in it was too late for me. But if I knew what I know now I would have left all my stuff there and moved anyway. These apartment are filthy and noisey. The staff always have a smile when you talk to them face to face but always fail to get things done. For the past year I've requested serveral times to have a ceiling fan fixed. Simple request right, needless to say I got tired of asking. A couple was forced out of their home at gun point. Serveral cars have been stolen and broken into in broad daylight. I would like to think that is partly because the entrance gate is ALWAYS broken. I do not feel safe no matter how hard I tried to feel at home. It's not worth it especially if you have kids. i can't wait until my lease is up. I normaly wouldn't take time to write review but this is the worst apartments ever. And trust me I've live in a a few. Please take my advise and look else where. I wish I were smart enough to read review before I rushed into a typical greenspoint aparment. YOU DESERVE BETTE! NO ONE DESERVES TO LIVE LIKE THIS!!

I lived in these apartments basically minding my business. I began to have problems with water being in the front dining room and later if I turn on the air conditioner there would be water in the closet. As I being to move things around I would see That this was a problem before I moved there.I just made up my mind to move. I was worried about my lease and breaking it. But I have two small two children. There was two brake ins during the Easter break. I say move in at your own risk.
